In town for work, nice costco workers are friendly and store is clean, they don't make you "scan your card" like other costco, really like a sams club peasant its going to flag their card in? Pfff this keeps going Sams club going to over pass costco , open a Sams club in Victorville / Hesperia. That being said got some goodies but at the * Food court that miserable "chicken" bacon sandwich at 6.99$ it should be with 1.99$ its horrible! Tried it for the 1st time there is NO CHICKEN it like a purée?! No no this IS baaad making macca ds basic "chicken sandwich" a full on meal. Do Not buy it its not worth it Costco be ashamed of it.. at least throw some cardboard box veggie chicken in there. Im disappointed by it 100%. Therefore my rating of 2 out of 5. Yesterday, I went specifically to this location's Optical Department (not the closest to me). Ariana was very helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive and professional in helping me to order prescription temporary eyeglasses (prescription is from a non-Costco optometrist for after cataract surgeries). I ordered 9 pizzas for a company party and they gave us a 10th one for free! They claimed that originally they had an order for 8 pizzas, but we had ordered 9. So to make up for any confusion, we got a 10th one. And we didn't even have to wait any extra. I'll definitely be back! read more

Watch out for the associate called *JULIAN* especially during the receipt check at the exit. He literally just throws the receipt back on your face without a thank you or anything. Have no idea what his problem is, guess he hasn't learnt the requisite manners and etiquette on how to work with people! read more

Bad attitude at the food court. Ordered food that came with a drink. I told the girl that I didnt want it. So she rolled her eye, gave me a super dirty look and slammed the cups back in the stack. The service is unsatisfactory. I checked in for a rotation and balance (clearly stated it at check in). The attendant set me up with a tire inflating only. I didn't notice the receipt details until I was home. I had to bring my vehicle back so they can do the rotation I originally needed. I was quoted 1.5 hours wait time but it was 2 hours and I had an appointment! I understand this is a complementary service but the mistakes are unacceptable. They need to hire more competent people. read more

Shoutout to the Meat department! Very thankful for their attentive and thoughtful service. I asked an employee when the shabu beef would be sent out and he let me know it'd be 30 minutes. I was waiting around being my awkward self for the beef to come out and another employee came out and asked if I had any questions or needed anything! I thought that was very kind and thoughtful. Immediately after the shabu beef was sliced and queued up to be packaged they brought out the first wrapped up one to hand to me... I was so touched I'm sure they are super busy and the fact that they remembered I was waiting was top notch service! Thank you! read more

It's nice to have another Costco to go to since the Auto Mall location was too crazy. This Costco is nice and organized. The tire center entrance is on the outside of the building. This location has a lot of variety and there are a lot of Asian food options that you wouldn't normally see at typical Costcos. Minus one star for the parking. It gets a little packed on the weekend, but I'm sure it's better during the week. Everything I bought was good quality, with the exception of the plastic bins I bought. I had to return them because of a broken handle I didn't notice initially. Overall a good location to visit. read more

Review is for the cashier with the shorter but curly black/gray hair about 5-2-5'5 and around 40-50 years old I encountered on 09/25/24 around 1:30. So all my items were pretty heavy except for the pomegranate juice so I just left it in the cart, mind you I had maybe around 12 items not fully stacked and cluttered with everything within reach and ease. I don't think she took to kindly to that and proceeded to throw the juice really hard on to the conveyor and than grabbed the 4 pack glass bottle Apple cider and tossed it really hard as well on the conveyor. I was at a loss of words since it's glass bottles she just threw really hard but luckily none were damaged. I'm not exaggerating at all with how hard she tossed them since multiple people turned around even her fellow cashier behind her. I said " wow really?" And she rolled her eyes at me and stayed quiet. After she scanned both the juice and 4 pack apple cider she than again slid them super hard across literally flipping the 4pack and juice. I get it people deal with crap and life can suck sometimes but you don't got to try to ruin other peoples day. I like this Costco and I still do but she's needs an attitude check real quick. Just a heads up if you see a lady that looks similar to what I described just avoid her if you want to avoid an altercation. The holidays are coming up, y'all gotta stay out of trouble. read more

Today I had very bad experience with the food court the employees they don't know their products I buy sandwich for $6.99 I didn't take a bite and told the employee to garbage it. and the employee they didn't even ask me why I am telling them garbage the sandwich I had to go buy additional 2 hotdogs This is the last time I'll be going to this Costco. this place, not even open a few months and already they dropping the ball for customer service. read more

This review is for the Costco tire center at the Newpark Mall location. I had 4 new tires installed on my car. The service was abysmal and ridiculously slow. For some reason every customer requires the service guy to stare at the computer terminal for 15 minutes regardless of the job. I waited over an hour in line just to pick up my car. read more

So glad they put a Costco in Newark. I know the Auto mall one was only about 5 minutes further but its night and day in terms of how crowded that one was versus this new one. Ive never had a better experience getting gas from a Costco than from this one. 32 pumps and its always in and out, no big lines. Inside they have everything that you would want from a Costco including the food court of course. Very spacious and its seems like prices might even be a little cheaper here. My new go to Costco for sure. read more

I went to the newest Costco in Newark today. The lady who servers the sample Madeleines has an attitude problem. She told some folks the sample have to wait for 10 minutes, but she gave the sample to other folks next minutes. She is playing favorites. read more

Newest location in tri cities & a welcome addition @ Newpark. Gas station is more than adequate, leaving parking structure adjacent to the store is a relief. Combination of experienced employees + "newbies" made my first visit perfect. Kudos to the optical department; my Rx was handled perfectly. read more

Don't want to jinx but this is a great Costco as it is generally under crowded. ALso, most importantly--I don't know why--they make the best pizza, compared to PacCommons. I would expressly make the trip out here to shop if I know I'm picking up pizza! Gas station also has FOUR pumps per side for many lines...I'm able to grab gas during regular hours when the other place would be packed.... read more

This location has terrible service and apparently management who doesn't care. I asked for help finding half and half, and instead of getting help, I got to listen to the manager talk to an employee for a while, the employee tripped me up twice with her mop, then finally I was able to go to the area where I discovered that the half and half was mixed in with whipping cream. The manager called it a mixed pallet. !! For that matter, the dairy area was nearly empty of product. It seems they don't know how to keep the location stocked, and they don't know how to display the merchandise. I'm never going back here. Even for costco, this place sucks. read more

If I lived closer to this Costco, I would shop at this one rather than the Costco where I live. The aisles were wide allowing for a more pleasant shopping experience where I didn't have to maneuver my cart between other shoppers. There was definitely merchandise at this Costco that isn't at my local Costco. The customer service area was spacious. The parking lot seemed smaller than other Costcos I've been too. There was the option though to park in the garage. Downside though is that there isn't an elevator if you park on the second floor. read more

This review is for the tire center. For the love of God, DO NOT go there! Took my car in for tire rotations and they said to come back in 15 minutes, so I figured ok, I have time to shop. Came back 30 min later with a cart full of groceries and my car hasn't moved. No one even looked at it and only one little girl there complaining she hasn't had her break and no one to help. I said ok so how much longer cause I have a bunch of perishables sitting there, she says give me 30 minutes so I'm there waiting looking over my receipt and noticed clerk charged me twice for my eggs so I went back to get refund for that, come back and the girl is no where in sight. I sit there waiting for over an hour and finally, someone comes to see if I've been helped. I said I've been waiting for my car, dropped off over an hour ago for tire rotation and was told it would be done in 15 minutes but it still hasn't moved. So the guy says ohh, give me 30 minutes. 30 turned out to be 90! Go there if you have 2-3 hours to spare for a simple 20 min job. I have never had any issues at the tire center in Fremont. Needless to say, I will never come back to this location. Incompetent clowns! read more

I went to their Tire Center for a battery replacement, and the manager, Shannon, and supervisor, Luis, had no idea what they were doing and just wasted an hour of our time. They were telling us to pay for a new battery when we had a 36 month warranty. It has only been 5 months since I last bought the battery I was trying to get replaced, but they refused to honor the warranty and wouldn't replace it. Shannon, the MANAGER, stated "a warranty can only cover a portion of the battery". I asked Shannon AND Luis to show that to me in black and white, which they failed to do so. This is the ONLY Costco Tire Center that we've been to that does not replace a battery that is still under warranty. OBVIOUSLY, they didn't know what they were doing, so I'm shocked that their shop is still up and running. It's a shame that a manager and supervisor don't know what they're doing. Don't go to this tire center, you'll waste your time. Ridiculous and disappointing. If yelp would let me, I would've given ZERO stars. read more
