"you can't be serious!?" and we go in and its just. wow. its wow. thats all i can say. the staff? what a cool kid club. there was like a ton of food stuff and fun stuff too and i kept running off to see the sales. there were some good ones. i saw a card with a parakeet on it. it reminded me of mine from when i was little, jeff tuesday. jeff tuesday escaped and my dad tried to tell me he was off selling insurance door to door, like what the heck dad, how is that supposed to help me? pretty sure birds can't sell insurance but whatever dad. jeez. anyways that bummed me out because even though its been like 20 ish plus years since i saw jeff tuesday last i was really sad because he was a dope bird you know? dude there was some awesome stuff happening in the cosmetics section like i dont know what you guys do there but it was freaking pristine. it looked like gwen stefani's voice sounds. one direction's what makes you beautiful came on while we were there and vera tried to pretend i wasnt dancing to it. got too into it and hit my hand on a display. sorry for knocking stuff over. the store looked great. sorry. we went into the section with the outside weather no-getcha section (idk what its called, but you know, like ponchos and other stuff so rain can't get you. so i grabbed this awesome red umbrella, okay, and i'm like, "honey...look, umbrunchuckella" (that's an umbrella thats also a nun-chuck) and vera says, "we've gone over this. you can't do that in public." which is frustrating because i really really want to use an umbrunchuckella, she just says i cant do it because i've hit myself twice doing it and she doesn't want me damaging anything else. overall, 5 stars. great date night destination. we wound up buying nuts, batteries, tissues, and post-its. your cashiers were really really friendly and they were patient with me when i kept getting confused about the total and stuff. you added up the total right. i forgot. i messed up. i'm sorry. you guys were right. sorry dave. you guys are rockstars. oh so fun bonus story! i locked us out of the car for the third time this week while here. "whoooooops" "no...no, please, vanya, tell me you didn't do it again." They consistently go above and beyond to help their customers. Recently, I had a situation where I was short on money and had to use some $2 bills that I had been saving for over 40 years. The receptionist, Dawn, noticed how much those bills meant to me, and thoughtfully set them aside. After I was able to pay another way, she returned them to me. It was an incredibly kind gesture that I will never forget. In today's world, it's rare to find people who care enough to do something so thoughtful. In all the years I've worked in the medical profession, the pharmacist I dealt at Walgreens overstepped. He made an error on the prescription provided by my physician. He did not apply a refill to my record and then stated that HE would "decide or another pharmacist would decide whether they thought my medical issue still existed for that refill of antibiotic". I mentioned to him that a Pharmacist cannot diagnose. He then rebutted by stating that "they can call the physician then to see if he wanted it filled". Huh? Well.. here's a clue.. the physician wrote it for a refill purposefully, with intent. I think this pharmacist was attempting to distract from the error he made on my prescription. I then called his manager who was also a pharmacist. I asked her how she felt about the pharmacist she was managing telling me "he would decide if I still needed the refill of antibiotic". She, stated that a pharmacist can decide if they feel comfortable refilling a prescription. Hmmm .. it's antibiotic lol. Anyhow, I will be reporting this to the California State Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacists cannot diagnose and that is exactly what he stated he was going to do in order to provide a refill for antibiotic. It appears Walgreens pharmacists are a way too entitled by trying to diagnose and play phisician. Generally if a pharmacist works at Walgreens they are new to the field or can't get a job elsewhere. It appears this is the case.

You can get a 10, 8, or 6 inch cake. I ordered a 6 inch because it was for a small party. The price was only $15! You can choose the flavor (chocolate or white) for the 2 layers. You can add a filling (strawberry or Bavarian Cream). You can choose the color of the icing. There were 15 color options available for the buttercream, and 11 available for the whipped cream. You can add a top and/or bottom border, then choose the design (beads or shells) and color (15 options available). For the decorations, they had the option for balloons (4 color combinations), flowers (7 options) with 15 colors to choose from, or toppings (4 types). Last, but not least, you can add a message (50 character max) with 15 color options available. You then choose the store and a pickup time. I ordered and picked up my cake within 48 hours. The cake came out so well! It looked just how it should. It tasted great. I have no complaints!

I found Theresa and she told me she should have told me to bring it in a bag verses the pot I brought it back in. I was also told if it spills pouring this into the plastic bag I brought the cellophane in, if it spills I WILL be cleaning it up!! I was shocked again and even more upset! Not only did I drive home so she wouldn't return "airlift," but she also made me wait after I saw her l, and decided to help a few other customers leaving me waiting. I approached Theresa, saying I was here first before these other customers starting their self check out. She noted, I will be with you and that SHE'S Coming!!! I was told she can only give me a gift certificate or come back again in the morning when the customer service center was open!!!! This was Unbelievable and quite shocking! Please, if you ever need to return groceries, expect very poor customer service. No cash back either after the customer service center has closed. Even if your return was $7.19! My experiences here started to improve right around the time Chloe Lee joined the pharmacy staff as Rx Manager; she has been dependable, professional, efficient, and--most importantly--compassionate in communicating with me, proving that she is a true healthcare provider who can thrive in a busy pharmacy and treat her patients with respect at the same time. I check again after a few days, find my order was CANCELLED, I got 0 warning, 0 email, notification, NOTHING. I talk to Dr. She approves meds again, I submit them to be filled again. Some time passes and a robot leaves me a voicemail saying a pharmacist must speak to me before they can mail my meds. But on the app the status looks good, no issue warning, so I'm very confused. I go ahead and call the exact # the voicemail provides. It leads me to another robot, who struggles to understand my voice, which was extremely irritating and took WAY too much time. Finally it, leads me to my "missed messages." The missed message? THE EXACT SAME VOICEMAIL I ALREADY HEARD. NOTHING HELPFUL, I have NO idea what is going on or why a pharmacist needs to talk to me. I legit could not speak to a real human being, and I tried calling the # multiple times to try different options to see if I could reach a human. I have to go out of my way to google how to actually talk to a person at Kaiser, which is a problem a LOT of people are having based on the results. I discover there's a chat option with real people on their app. THANK GOD. The online pharmacist tells me my order is filled and getting ready to be mailed, and we come to the conclusion everything's fine. Only for another day to go by and I get this stupid "Issue" message AGAIN. Let me guess. Tomorrow my order will be cancelled? Typical Kaiser! Just throw your customers in loops over and over and over again. Not like I NEED my meds or anything, right? What literally could have been a 5 minute phone call if I COULD REACH A PHARMACIST, has turned into over a week long runaround. Thanks Kaiser!
