We parked in the lot by the bay doors and checked in with the service underwriter. He verified some info, asked if we were going to wait. When we said we would get some lunch and return he made a few suggestions of restaurants in walking distance. Very cordial and friendly. After we returned the vehicle was on the lift and we had a seat in their waiting area. We chatted a bit more with the staff who made some recommendations of things to do in the area. These guys were really great. There are many bays in this building. The waiting area is pretty small compared to the number of bays so I guess most people do not wait. There are many dining and shopping options within walking distance. The mechanic seems very knowledgable, made some recommendations, finished up and we were out in fairly good time. We would definitely return to this location when in the area again.

I found that out from a different repair shop in town. So I was correct in my assumption that they are incompetent in their work. Firestone stole $2,000 from me and does not have the integrity to make it right. This was confirmed yet again this afternoon when I took my Honda CRV back in because of a problem that developed in my fan immediately after they "repaired" my air conditioning. (When I turn the fan on high, it makes a loud laboring noise). I hoped again Firestone would fix that issue under their warranty, but again they told me this was completely unrelated to their work and wanted to charge me $400 to replace the fan blower motor. I told them no, and just took my car back. I will never set foot in ANY Firestone/Bridgestone shop again. They are liars, fraudsters, and incompetent.

The guy at the desk was part of the other shop to the left, and told me the lady for my shop would be back in 30 minutes and she would help me then. Not sure how they can run services when phones are down / front desk person is gone for 1.5 hours or more. I left after 15 min more of waiting in person, and am taking my business elsewhere.

Shortly after the service, I noticed a loud whining noise coming from the rear end. When I brought it back, they claimed they did nothing wrong, but offered to replace the axle bearings and seals for free. When I picked up my car, they told me it wasn't safe to drive on the freeway--this was shocking considering the car had always been well-maintained and in great shape. I then took my Mustang to Central Automotive for a second opinion. Their inspection found internal scarring where the axle seals sit, plus significant metal fragments on the internal magnet. In the end, the entire rear end had to be rebuilt--an extremely expensive repair that should never have been necessary after a simple fluid change. Central Automotive did a fantastic job fixing it, but I will never return to Point S/Easthill Tire. What should have been routine maintenance turned into a costly and stressful ordeal.

Once I dropped off, they called me shortly after and told me two TPMS sensors were broken and i should replace all four for $575 and that I needed alignment done for $179. I had new TPMS installed and the car aligned less than I year prior so I knew to reject this. They called back later to explain they must have looked at the wrong work order and everything was working properly. Now that's its light outside, I just realized they installed tires from 2021. To have one year old tires is normal, but four years is completely unacceptable. This place is scamming people are up charges and installing old stock tires. Avoid using them. I buy quality tires and am the fleet manager with over 100 vehicles for my company. It was a good price, but don't risk it by going here.
