25 year old Ranger wouldn't start. Then it did start. Then it wouldn't start. Then it did start. Husband took it in to a *different mechanic who shrugged and said he couldn't replicate the problem because it started. Ranger wouldn't start. Then it DID start. Based on recommendation from some guy at work we took it here. Next available appointment was 5 days out, but if we dropped it off and they had time...mayyyybe. NEXT DAY THEY CALLED. Power control module. I have no idea what the heck that is, but it was under $200 total and it fixed a variety of other issues "Old Faithful" had been exhibiting. Fast. Seemed honest. They FIXED THE CAR. And $200 was considerably cheaper than we've paid for everything else auto repair related. read more

When you are far from home, and have a car problem, you are at the mercy, of what garage you can find. We were on a cross country RV trip, when we started getting rattleing sounds from our exaust system in our auto. We happened across Maple Valley Muffler and Auto. When we explained we were only in town for the day, they immediatelyput us on the lift, and within 45 minutes they had repaired our problem. Had a cracked exhaust pipe on my son's car rendering it unsafe to drive. I called and spoke to Will who said even though they were booked solid for several days, they would allow me to drop by for them to assess the damage. When I arrived, they started work right away and assessed the crack and had it welded within 30-minutes. The service was outstanding and the price more than reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely come back again (but hopefully I won't need to soon)! read more

If you are looking for an honest mechanic that won't gouge your pocket book, look no further. I thought my alternator was toast, but it turns out it was just a dome light that my kids turned on unbeknownst to me. They quickly figured this out and let me know without any charges.
