I really. Really wish I could leave zero stars. I got up today to one flat tire. I took it off and out a spare summer tire on and decided to drop it off. I arrived and pulled up front so they could grab the tire out of my trunk (was wearing business attire) they told me to go park and carry my wheel and tire back. Um ok. I go park. Check my wheel/tire in and then told. Pull around so they can get the wheel and tire out. (Like I'd already done. ) My morning ran a little long and I showed up at 1:15. The guy says "we didn't call you to tell you it was done" I said ok well the paperwork had a promise time of 12pm (it was dropped at 8:30am) he said "oh...give me 15 minutes and it'll be done) It took 21 minutes which is great. But why in the world wasn't it done so long before. And then I was told that they'd waive the $21 fee since it took extra. I said well your website said free flat repairs. I show him and he says oh. Must be a new policy. ‍. It's not. Seriously. Save yourself the headache and just take your car and business to discount tire. read more

I've been here a few times and always been happy with the prompt, courteous service at a fair price. This last time was for a new difficult to find battery. From the time I called them on the phone at home until the new battery was installed, job complete, it was less than 2 hours. That included them finding the battery and getting it delivered to their store. Plus the price was very fair, much lower than others. Tires, batteries, etc. we have always received fast, friendly service and excellent communication. read more

Went here recently with a flat tire. Turned out that I got a screw right in the middle while in central washington and after a couple days (and hundreds of miles) it made its way out of the tire. It was a busy day with people getting their vehicles ready for thanksgiving road trips and it was still under an hour. After a discussion of possible tire replacements, I was told to put my wallet away and have a good day. Also I was greeted immediately when I walked in and customer service was good. Free popcorn too! :) UPDATE: TPS light came on again, so I took it in. They were really busy, so the long wait was expected. He apologized for the miscommunication and was receptive to me pointing out that the information that the tire might not be under warranty should have led the conversation. Les Schwab is a great place to go. I believe they are honest and wow! Their customers are taken care of. They check and fill my tires and probably saved my life by warning me about my tire conditions. My abusive husband who I think wants me dead (seriously) had told me to take my car out on the freeway and "speed it up to clean out the carb" three times since I left him 10 months ago. I went in to have them check my tire pressure and the guy told me while driving in he could see the problem. The Vogue tyres were indeed tired. Very tired. In fact he informed me they were illegal. All of them. The core was coming out on one of them. Informed me I should NOT drive on the freeway. Long story short - I went and got regular tires (instead of 350$ each for designer vogues). Not much for 4 new regular tires on a Cadillac. I don't care about "status symbols"and BS like that - ridiculous. I would rather have a VW any day. I didn't have them dispose what my loving husband said: "Those were perfectly good tires and now you're going to put junk tires on it?" Yes. That's exactly what I did. But they aren't junk tires, 40,000 mi guarantee, and out the door for about 700$ for all four. So I live on. And as I sat there I thought those perfectly good Vogues should be returned to my "loving husband" and he can pay to get rid of them. Let me mention I didn't get one but four different tire shops to look at them. And a cop. So I returned the perfectly good designer worn out Vogues and he can pay to dispose of them. The first time I went to this location was to replace a flat tire on one of my vehicles. I assumed it would need to be a replacement and had the new tires picked out that I was planning to go with. After the technician took a look, he let me know it most likely only needed to be plugged. He plugged the tire and didn't charge me a dime. This most recent visit was to replace a full set of tires on one of my other vehicles. Hunter worked with me on the phone to locate the right tires and get them shipped here since supply chain issue have been impacting inventory levels. Hunter got them here in 2 days and let me know when they were unloaded from the truck. After dropping off my vehicle, I got a call letting me know that my brakes were not a safety hazard, but were close to needing replacement as well (I knew this, but was not planning to replace quite yet). The technician who called me was friendly, did not pressure me at all, and when I asked him to tuck a copy of the brake estimate in with my paperwork for the tire replacement for me to review for a later date, he did that without any attempt to pressure the sale. The estimate was detailed and helpful. My tires were replaced the same morning I brought it in (faster than I anticipated). When I went in to pay and pick up the vehicle, James took great care of me and fielded the questions I had around rotation and warranty, along with some questions about the brake estimate. The team at this Les Schwab is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. It feels more like a locally owned small service shop than a national chain and I appreciate that. read more

Whoa...Les is probably turning over in his grave. After 30 years of giving my support to this store...I am done. just spend $1265 to get 6 tires mounted on my small RV. They mounted them but left a mess on my rig and bent up the appearance rings and cap. I am going to be out $200 to replace them to look good. The salesman said..those rings are thin and they bend all the time. Would take no responsibility and showed zero fault. so...if you take your crappy looking wheels with no hubcaps, they might be ok...expensive..but ok. If you have any nice wheel, beauty rims, trim caps, anything nice or a shiny car, forget about this place...Firestone or Discount tire is earning my next major purchase.. read more

We had just bought new tires from les schwab Maple Valley, and the next day, we had a blowout on HWY 18!!! The worst HWY in Washington. We called and told them what happened, and they sent Kaleb immediately with a truck and 2 new tires. In less than 2.5 hours, we back on the road. He was quick, efficient, and very polite. After two other shops performed an alignment on my car and were not able to completely center the steering wheel, this Les Schwab got it perfect and also finally identified and explained the root cause of the issue, caused by caster, which neither of the 2 other mechanics that looked at my car spotted. Jorge was very helpful and patient and took care of me right away when I presented the issue. Cameron also gave me a very detailed explanation confirming what I thought was going on and gave me peace of mind there were no other unknown problems. Where do I begin. I've received brand new squeaky brakes in the past, that were also overpriced. Also purchased a battery that didn't last long as well. My recent trip today to this location will most likely be my last. I came into the shop with a simple request, a tire rotation and to fill a flat/air leak. I had no issue waiting since I brought my laptop to work in the waiting room. After an hour and a half, I decided to walk home (since I was within walking distance). Of course, when I get back to my house, I receive a call that my car has had it's tires rotated and the low tire was filled. When I got back to the shop, I picked up my car and noticed that the tire was still flat.... Which also lets me know that there was no tire rotation. My car was literally moved from a parking stall spot and no changes were made. I spoke with the front desk person and they told me to pull it out front and they'd look at it (I never saw their face again). When I pulled it in front of a lane some one came and greeted me and said to move the car because they needed to take a care out. I was totally fine with this. After moving the car, someone else comes out and greets me. They ask what the issue is and I say that I brought a car in to have a rotation and fill a flat. They say that sometimes a rotation can happen and a tire cannot be filled (that's odd, I got a call from someone working here saying the tires were rotated and the tire is filled). The worker then immediately looks to see the level of the tire and notices that it's 14 pounds under pressure. THERE WAS NOTHING DONE TO THE CAR. Thankfully the worker filled the tire then and there and I decided that I would take my car elsewhere to get it rotated. Short and sweet. This store is VERY BUSY, I understand that. But to wait over a long period of time, and to come back to what I've been told is a "fixed" issue. To find out it was never touched, is absolutely unacceptable. Truly only giving one star because they greet you when you pull up in front of a stall. read more

I arrive at the store and they say they don't have the tires needed, then someone else behind the counter found it in the computer. they took the wheel to replace the tire and said about 45 minutes to 1 hour. 3.5 hours later and still waiting in the lobby. it's not the only time either, never doing business here again... very poor service every time. read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys right now. When I started my car this morning to head to work, the "Low Tire Pressure" warning light was on. I headed down to the gas station to air up my tires and found that some jerk had stolen caps off two of the tire air valves. A third cap was loose, so I headed to Les Schwab. I was immediately helped at the desk, and the young lady asked me to pull around to any bay. A guy came out, put two new caps on the air valves, aired up the tires, and I was on my way in less than ten minutes. My husband and I have spent a lot of money here, but it's well worth it for the service they provide. Nice job, guys! read more

Shortly before they're supposed to be done the man calls and says we don't have your tires but for an extra 75 dollars a tire we can do now. We have a snow storm going on right now in Maple Valley and I hit some ice and something was dragging on the street beneath the undercarriage of my car. I drove into Les Schwab Maple Valley location and they told me to drive right in as they could see it was an immediate issue. They sawed off the plastic covering that was dragging on the ground and I was back on the road in 5min!! I was just impressed with the speed of the service and how there was no charge! Dishonest and salesy. My husband took our 2016 Enclave in for a nail in the tire. We bought this car a few months ago and it had brand new tires when purchased. They call him to say the nail "ruined" the tire and not only can they not repair the tire, they can't replace the one tire either. It's AWD and we need 4 new tires for $1300......because of a nail in one tire. Luckily (or not) for us, we just went through this same scenario with our AWD Lexus that got a flat a month after we got new tires. We knew that as long as the tread was still within a certain depth, you can absolutely replace just one tire. When the sales guy realized we weren't biting on his $1300 solution to our tire nail, he called back to say he could, indeed, replace just one tire. We told them to take a hike, and ordered the same tire for $70 less at Costco. Get real Les Schwab. Won't be going there again, worth the drive to the Covington Costco to get honest service at a cheaper price. read more

I went in because my tire pressure was low, the guy told me there was a screw in my tire so I better just buy a new tire then gave me a $150 quote for a new tire. Later my friend tells me that les schwab always patches and repairs tires for free. I looked it up online and they sure do! I was unaware of this and it sure is weird to me that the guy at maple valley les schwab did not mention that to me, he just tried to sell me some expensive tire. No thanks, I will not be coming back to this shop again. Les schwab in Federal Way did a very good job of fixing my tire for me free of charge. read more

I have used many other tire centers and this shop is the only one I will use because of their highly trained staff and exceptional customer service. I traveled all the way back from SoCal to have an issue taken care of that 3 other tire service centers could not resolve. Their employee turnover rate is very low (the same employees are there year after year) and that says a lot about their management. Service is hands down the best I have ever experienced. read more

After talking with 2 desk employees they came to the conclusion that any tire over 35" was a special order and "we'd have to make phone calls to find out if we can get anything". So someone who's inquiring about a service/product you provide was brushed off due to the fact that the employees lacked basic knowledge or the ability to make an effort. Will not return. read more

I've used this les schwab for years and I'm highly disappointed by the service I was given. I got a flat tire at work so I called so they would take a look at it and help tow my car to the shop. When I asked the driver what they think caused my flat tire, they were very rude and short with me and never gave me an answer. I thought things would get better when I got to the shop but I was wrong. Made me wait over 2 hours just for a new tire on my car. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were busy even when I only saw one other customer in the waiting area. But, after the new tire was on, I was driving to the Safeway to grab some groceries when I heard something fall off my car. I parked and realized the hubcap had come off on the new tire! I called and asked if they knew of any other places around that might be able to help with my tire. Mike was working and told me to come on in. That he would wait. He stayed late and fixed my tire. I can't tell you what a relief that was! I had no idea how I was going to get to work tomorrow. I am SO thankful that he went above and beyond to help me out tonight. 2nd Bad experience with Les Schwab. For years they took care of me and my vehicles, but now they are failing to standby their products. I had my front rotors replaced in July of last year, just before moving out of town. It is now about 8 months later and the certified shop I took it to said the rotors are no good and need to be replaced. The same rotors they installed are now needing replaced, and they turned their back on a customer. Les Schwab will not recognize the warranty they outlined because I don't have the ability to bring it 2500 miles back to their store. So when they say they products have a warranty, they don't really stand by it. Had much better service when I go to Discount tire, so I would skip Les Schwab, just not the customer service it used to be. Response to reply - If you have a quality product and supported your customers no matter where the vehicle is, then it wouldn't be a problem. Frustrating that I purchased a product that goes bad in a few month (with a warranty which is only good in their area.) And the mechanic I took it to is more reputable that you guys. read more

I walked into Les Schwab in the afternoon hoping I could get my tires rotated. I know that it was later in the afternoon, but the service I received was inexcusable. When I asked about a rotation, the unfriendly woman at the desk said, "Not today -- we're too busy." She asked if I could leave the car and pick it up tomorrow. I told her that we only had one car right now, so I couldn't leave it and asked about the possibility of having it done tomorrow. She looked at me, looked down at her computer for a minute, looked back up and told me that she couldn't get me in until 5 days later. I wish I could explain in writing the patronizing, rude way that she looked at me. I looked back at her, told her that wouldn't work and left the store. Explain to me how it was an option to leave my car and have a rotation done "tomorrow," but it was NOT an option to come into the store tomorrow and wait for a rotation. AND that I would have to wait FIVE days for a tire rotation. Getting a tire rotation should never be a 5-day wait. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I have been treated this way at the Maple Valley Les Schwab. We will drive to another town before ever going to the Maple Valley Les Schwab again. read more

I bought some tires and rims from them due to the service and Yelp reviews for this shop. What I find now is they are less than willing to squeeze you in once you have purchased. Constantly open bays but being told wait times to get tires rotated is 1+ often times over 2 hours just to do a simple tire rotation. Which according to them needs to be done and could affect my tire warranty. Probably my last purchase from Les Schwab. If you can't take care of me after the purchase then I don't want to make the purchase. read more
