She didn't know to fill out her claim, so I told her to bring her forms, and we would ask the employees there. So I order a washer/dryer. NOTE: Samsung 24" electric w/d. - the stacking kit is required not optional. You can purchase or order the required stacking kit, $40 on Amazon. It looks as if you can order with w/d, but it does not order the part. So the delivery was made, the guys were very nice, but need the stacking kit to complete the installation. This is a nice Costco. The layout it similar to the Tempe location, and parking is plentiful and easier to navigate through compared to the Chandler location near the mall. Today was about a return. We shop at Costco all the time but seldom return items and never large items or items bought online. This time it was 2 mattresses bought online. Although we had help loading them at our house I wasn't sure how it would work at the store. Brett and Joe at Costco we're so helpful. They unloaded the mattress' brought them in for us making the return so easy. A huge thank you to both of them. I know it's their "job" but they had great attitudes and were all around nice guys. Both my husbands and my family have been Costco members all our lives. When we got married we got a membership together. I've never had a bad experience at Costco with an employee, until today. We go every single week for our groceries and today we realized we forgot some items. We went back for 4 items and we asked for two separate transactions because we were going to pay with cash for two items and our debit card for the other two. We got attitude from the cashier and she started to tell me, you know if you don't have a membership and want to shop here...I cut her off before she finished her incorrect accusation and said, I do have a membership - he's my husband. My husband said I didn't know that was a problem and she got snippy and said the problem is, we're cracking down on people who don't have a membership. Listen, I understand their new protocols and have no issues with their new scan-in the store your membership card process, but don't be rude to existing clients of your store who have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there. Frankly, why we chose to pay with cash for two items and debit for the other two were none of her business. Costco corporate needs to train their crew to keep this warehouse as a place where loyal members want to continue to spend their money. read more

Finally I feel like a real adult because I got a Costco card this year! Granted, as part of a family membership, but lets not get hung up on semantics. It doesn't change the adult quota stock points. I eat dessert for breakfast, go to bed when I wanna, and get giddy from the idea of spending under $4 for a pack of 40 water bottles. BAM! ::adult card thrown down:: The cafe prices are unbeatable so don't forget to bring some cash to spend on a hot dog, slice of pizza, churro, or giant cup of soft serve on your way out the door. As for the poor guys up front, towards the entrance, that ask to speak to you for a moment about DirectTV (Seriously, why? Oh, right-right, because I'm an adult). I feel so bad that I brush them off (because let's be honest that's probably what everyone else does too), but I don't have time for that when I've got some free samples to indulge in, comfy sweatpants to check out, need to stock up on food like I'm feeding a few very hungry soccer teams or filling the shelves in an underground bomb shelter, and most importantly, to hug MEGA-JUMBO Teddy Bears (when they are in season)...because that is what an adult does! read more

Costco's products are good, co and its prices are great. I find that the quality of itt Kirkland brand products s s good as national brands.

I like Costco. The warehouse is huge and the food they have at the food court is generally good tasting. I like the hot dogs because they come with a drink and it is a great deal. Plus, the hot dogs taste good and I like the texture of the hot dog bun. I went there recently to pick up a cake. I love how they have predesigned cakes and it makes it easy for me to pick one up for parties. They only had chocolate or vanilla flavored cakes when I went though. read more

They're staff is so unprofessional. They despise Instacart shoppers. I was harassed when I was checking out when I on my phone and the Cashier ( Bald white guy with glasses)told me watch my mouth. First of all. I was on my phone so he was out of place. He needs more training in customer service. He had a poor attitude when I came to his line.Then he calls Lisa over to press me. She definitely didn't solve anything because she's just like him. My advice to everyone. Beware!!!!!! Discrimination and mental health is real in Costcos. read more

I'm down with Costco! The quality of their signature brand Kirkland's is second to none. I love their sales, and they have a great selection of food, furniture, appliances, seasonal items, and household products. Gasoline prices are at least $0.10 cheaper than other gas stations. They are the biggest organic supplier in the nation, which means you don't have to break the bank to eat right. Right now, they are offering a Groupon that pretty much gets you a membership for $5 after all the rebates and coupons. The Costco Citi Bank credit card has awesome rewards, 2% cash back when you use it at Costco, 4% for gas, 3% travel, and 1% on all other purchases. Not bad if you do aot of shopping at Costco, plus you can get 2% additional cash back when you sign up for an executive membership. We decided to maximize our perks and enroll in both earning programs. This location is usually very busy and during the weekends your heels may get clipped if you're moving too slow. Gear up for the crowd, but get ready to save lots of money on your everyday items. read more

I know things are tough at this time for all Costco employees, and the world... but I appreciate the work that goes into keeping everything stocked and cleaned for the public health and safety. The lines and crowd control seem to be maintained amazingly well in these circumstances. Plus the senior only hours are a great relief to many. My one observation, and reason for 3 stars... Is something that seems to be a cultural work habit across all Costco's in AZ., it is that the cashier's don't really engage with the customer. I strongly dislike it when they are taking to their co-workers about other co-workers, leave it for your break. I have my own work drama and I don't want to hear about yours... Especially while I am handing over several hundred of those hard earned $$. I would like a brief pleasant encounter instead of robotically scanning items while ignoring me to continue that conversation and talk over my head. At the very least thank me for the ridiculous amount I just spent in your store as I prepare to leave your lane. Thanks for the consideration. read more

I was looking to rugs and bedding stuff and for the items they offer it seems to be on par with other retailers so I didn't seem the value in the items as opposed to saving that can be had with other bulk items. read more

Like most Costco's, this location follows suit. They offer more than a cart could ever hold and offer food samples that would replace a meal! I come here for three items on my list......yikes! I checkout with double, sometimes more. The returns here are always easy with no hassle. Customer service is nice and helpful. They have a great food bar near the exit, how convenient. Lol. My only complaint is that the bathroom is out in left field. Not very convenient. Get a membership and let the spending begin! read more

Worst Costco Ever! When I shop I put all the bar codes facing up to be scanned in the cart. The workers that are in the "self-check" are arrogant and extremely rude. It would take them between 20 and 30 seconds to scan my items, but their response is "I am here to direct traffic and only scan large items" absolutely insane. This has happened multiple times at this particular store. I have shopped at the Scottsdale and Phoenix locations and have never encountered a Costco employee with an attitude at those locations, they laugh and smile about how organized my cart is with the barcodes at checkout and I am checked out in minutes, freeing up the lane for the next member. It's not because of the space, or the crowds of people that clog up the aisles. It's not because of people that don't know how to drive for their life in the parking lot, nor the odd attitudes and sometimes odd energy I get from this Costco Wholesale store. Let me explain: I went to self checkout and I had only 3 things or so, if I can remember correctly. Whenever I personally shop at Costco, I take a few boxes with me because they help tremendously with my Instacart drives so I can just drop the groceries and head to the next order. This female employee with an accent told me not to take so many boxes. I found it strange because another employee (I'm assuming senior of her) told me that it was perfectly fine and it was the Costco staffs' job to keep the boxes stocked up. I mean, there were piles of boxes by the bathrooms and the piles weren't getting any smaller. Now, I know the customer isn't right all the time, for I've been on the receiving side of that situation. I'm just baffled at how everything played out. I was also about to check in on Yelp for this review, but because the store is so small and the wifi was lagging, I could not. I am torn about giving any Costco a 5 review. So many great things available here but sadly there are typically a mass of customers loitering in aisles waiting to get a sample and making it difficult to get around. I am convinced that most Costco shoppers come here for a cheap way to feed their children while they shop. So maybe I'm exaggerating a little. Seriously, it can be ridiculous. Costco products, especially their brand are worth the trip. I have been reluctant to try most store brand products because they rarely measure up to the quality of the big name brand. Here is the exception. Wines, hard alcohol, baked goods -OMG, these are one of the BEST (Chocolate cake, Pumpkin pie, special order cakes, seasonal desserts), coconut oil, olive oil. Everything ive tried has been good and often times better than those brand name items. Quality and better price. Even the towels are super nice, and the price is unbelievable. We even purchased a vehicle through Costco and the dealership told us that was the best way to do it because we would save the most money going that route. So Costco has lots of great things but shopping there can sometimes feel like Black Friday at the mall with families lined up to see Santa. read more

You can't help but love the Costco gas station. The price is great, the location is good, there are plenty of pumps and they keep the line moving. The machine that takes your Costco card and a credit card is pretty easy to use and if you have a problem there are always a couple of attendants around to help you out. Good job Costco! read more

I really liked this store however the other day I went on my first run without my parents as they asked me to grab them water cases. I was forced to apply for a card. The lady at checkout was yelling a code multiple times and had 2 men come to my register. I felt really uncomfortable because she wouldn't stop yelling and causing a scene leaving people to stare. I didn't refuse to apply the first time as I said I would if I could just check out first. She just kept yelling that code. I kept explaining I would apply but she forced it on me. She then had a man escort me to the desk. If she gets commission on my application that's really unfair as I felt forced. There's a *certain* kid who has a birthday coming up, and if you were looking for a *certain* toy that costs at least double everywhere else, this is where you would go. That's one of the things I do enjoy about Costco. They bring stuff in and out pretty quick, so every trip there is different than the last. But there are also the staples in the foods and home goods sections that you can stock up on when you need to. This location stands out because after having been a few times, I've yet to have too hard of a time parking and it's always been pretty tidy. The woman who I spoke to to make the appointment was alarmingly rude. She didn't want to answer any of my questions, it was very weird. This is my "go to" Costco for all of my needs. It's the closest to my home, and I'm here on a regular basis to get all sorts of things. I love Costco for all same reasons everyone else does. This location is like all the others in the Valley-ample parking, good hours, free samples on Saturdays, and of course, the hot dogs. I get one every time I'm here! I also like Costco because now they have their coupons loaded onto the membership card when you check out. I found this out a while ago, when I picked stuff up that was on special, and the discount came right off at the register, without me having to whip out any coupons. Makes life easier when you forget stuff like that, or when your stopping in and forget to bring the coupons with you. Overall I like it here, easy in easy out, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint about Costco as a whole, is that I find some of their selection limited. No name brand cat food, (Kirkland brand only), no 40 ounce Nivea in a blue bottle (they carry the skin firming crap in the white bottle, but I don't use it...I use the regular lotion in the blue bottle.) They used to carry this stuff years ago, but since I've become a member again, it seems thier stock has somewhat changed, and I'm kinda dissapointed about it. I normally venture to the Costco in San Tan Village, and never have any issues. This occasion, I chose to go to this location to get my tire pressure checked because the light came on, indicating low tire pressure, only a few weeks after I had filled my tires. I figured there might be a nail hiding somewhere, and I didn't want to chance voiding my warranty by taking my Costco tires anywhere else. So, I dropped my car off at noon and was quoted an hour and half to two hours. I thought that was a little ridiculous to just fill my tires and check for a nail, but figured they might be busy. I came back at 1:30 and noticed my car hadn't moved. At this point, I decided I just want to grab my car and go to Discount Tire, have my tires filled in 2 minutes, and move on with my life. In the 30 minutes I was standing in line (yes, 30 minutes standing in line with single worker operating the desk) my car had been put in the air. They began to work on my car 2 hours after I dropped it off, at the quoted time it would be finished. I was not pleased and asked how much longer I'd have to wait to get my car back, and the worker indicated it would take up to 30 minutes. Two and a half hours to put air in my tires (a feat that competitors can complete in only a matter of minutes) and to look for a possible nail. I suppose my time isn't valuable. I will never return to this location ever again. They clearly have a staffing issue if they aren't able to efficiently manage their lines, and if they are unable to meet their ridiculously low time standards to complete work that they are specialized in. The warranty for the tires limits my ability to take my business to competitors, otherwise Costco Tire Center would never have my business again. read more

I couldn't find paper towels and my daughter asked a man that was just standing there doing nothing named "B-RYE" (that was the name on his tag) He was the most disrespectful man. He looked at my daughter and if she was stupid and told her where they were located but the directions he gave we're not correct. We then asked him to show where they were at he disrespected us again and gave us attitude. His behavior was very disrespectful when we simply just asked him to do his job. read more
