950 am, Sunday, July 19, 2026 I got to the corner of LA Habra and Beach. I saw that the short cut to the gas station was open. I proceeded when the left turn arrow turned green and I pulled into the parking lot to park not to get gas. I saw the horde of gold star members waiting to get on at 10 am! There were two minutes left! I hurried, got my digital membership ready on my phone and scanned it just in the nick of time! I'm on a hunt for clearance items! I found the Omnibreeze tower fan with internal oscillation and wi-fi for $39.99! $10 off regular price. I grabbed two out of four left in stock. Cha Ching! Hmm, this fan doesn't have strong velocity though, grrr. It's easy to set up, very cool tech features using wifi connection. Next, I found Disney themed door mats for $10 each, two different styles. I grabbed them both! The matriarch and daughter loved them! Then I found the jumbo 14 oz bag of lesser evil Himalayan Gold popcorn made with coconut oil and Himalayan salt. There was a coupon mark down for these. What the heck is going on with the egg prices! Pasture-raised two dozen eggs were $7.99! Whoa. That's 33 cents each. You can find them for double the unit price on Amazon or $10 for 18 Vital Farms at Target. So, 10 am is not as busy as you think. The check out lines were short but best if you have the Executive membership to get in an hour earlier. read more

As I've said about other Costco locations, what's not to love about Costco? You can get food, tires, gasoline, glasses/contact lens, toilet paper, clothes, TVs and appliances all in one place. It's really the other members that make the shopping experience suck so that's not on Costco. But, the members at La Habra are pretty chill. Specific to the La Habra location, the pros are that this place isn't as busy as the other Costcos that I'd frequent. You pay OC sales tax which is lower than LA. Cons: It doesn't have the more Asian foods if you're looking for those. Shopping cart return corrals could be better spread out. read more

Love, love, love this Costco! Might actually be my favorite location, especially for gas. Not sure if it's because of when I visit this location or not, but every time I come here, there's rarely ever a line for gas! It's pretty much a drive up, pump, and go situation. If there ever is a wait, it's not very long and you're probably the next one in line. The warehouse itself is pretty standard like all the other warehouses. The food court is located on the outside. There are usually a good amount of people here, but I've never felt like it was too crowded or overwhelming. Buyer beware! I always go in for one or two items and somehow end up with a whole cart full of items! Hahah...but most of my impulse buys have all been solid. Will definitely be coming back again! read more

This store is arranged differently from the 626 area and seems rather old in comparison with other Costco stores. Parking seems limited and traffic builds up due to pedestrian foot traffic. Being new to me, I had a hard time finding things, as the store seems rather tightly packed. I don't think I'll be back to this store, with so many nicer ones near home. read more

Plus, the building felt smaller. I'm thinking of either getting a Costco or Sam's Club membership eventually, but I like how I can go in with a family member. Costco has some of the best options when it comes to toiletries, meat, bread, and such. Price match still though! I can still find things cheaper elsewhere. And it's hard to locate a certain product sometimes. This specific location though, months ago, when they were giving away free bags for people who signed up for a credit card, there was a situation that annoyed me. I still remember it. Originally, I thought that employee was just a third-party temp or not directly hired by Costco, but I did see her again afterwards. So, long story short, I was with my boyfriend. He was applying for the card on his behalf, and she was basically flirting with him, and asking him questions about his work. I thought that was disrespectful to me and highly invasive. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but that left an extremely bad taste in my mouth and doesn't seem like the professional standard that Costco should be providing. Obviously, I've read reviews about Costco working culture and how people get hired there, but personally, I just feel like that was wrong. read more

We walked over to the kiosks outside by the food court to place our order of strawberry banana smoothie ($2.99)and a chocolate/vanilla frozen yogurt. ($1.99) You can't beat this price! Go up to the pick up window or line up if there's a line to the right side. Your order should be ready relatively soon. Two years ago I complained about Veronica in customer service! Today she's just as rude as she was back then!!!! I purchase two yoga pants a week ago. Upon trying them on at home, I first took the tags off. I threw the tags away contemplating on keeping them. I only tried on the one pair and that was only for no more than 30 seconds! I decided I didn't want them, therefore I decided to return them today! I had my receipt! Standing in line waiting for my turn I brought a neighbor friend with me! First and foremost I've been coming to this Costco now for about a year and a half two years this place is awesome especially the gas station. There's a young man named Julian who is a gas attendant who is amazing and he's always helping people who need help one particular day I forgot my membership card and he actually showed me how to use my phone through the app to login which was actually pretty cool. I'd never know how to do that but he took his time and was very polite just courteous. I seen him help the older people online. I just felt like he used to be recognized. Luckily we found parking near by. We scanned our cards and walked around to look for death stars and new items. We found gallons of purified water. My experience today at Costco reconfirms why I never shop there and only go there for the gas. I received my annual bonus dollars and decided to actually shop inside so I could redeem it. I usually do my shopping at Sams because they provide the self-checkout by phone app. Something Costco still does not provide. As I waited in the long line a Costco employee suggested I go to the self check-out isle as there was no waiting, so I did. She told me to check out the small items and she would assist me with the rest. When I got close to the end of the items, I handed her my redemption check, and she said it could not be used in this line. I told her that was the only reason I came to shop inside, and she said she could void my order, and I could go back and wait in the long line. I said forget it and just finished my transaction without using my redemption check and walked away frustrated. While I'm bashing Costco, I also was using their card online when it wanted to confirm my phone number and I noticed it had a phone number I had changed over 20 years ago. I tried to make the change and it would not allow me. I called their customer service, and the adviser said this change could only be made inside. I went to the same Costco in La Habra and the customer service representative told me the number they had on file was my present number. I told her that was not what was online and she didn't know what to say but added that they had the correct number. Another waste of time. read more

Purchased a battery less than a year a go and was told it had a 3yr free replacement. Battery died after no more than 10 months. I go on thinking it will be replaced and I have to pay an additional $38.78 for a battery that should have lasted at least 5 years. Make it make sense, this will probably be the last battery I purchase from here. AutoZone may be about $100 more, but they do offer a true 3 year free replacement and a 7 year prorated warranty. As far as costco goes, this one is slightly above the regular costco. Of course it gets busy during traffic hours (evenings and weekends), but there always seems to be enough parking. Downside is that this costco is smaller, so things are more compact, and some of the aisles don't make sense (house cleaning supplies aren't next to other relevant house cleaning stuff). The employees do a good job of moving the lines along and making sure you aren't waiting in long lines. read more

This 1-star rating is for the uncomfortable interaction I had with one of the gas station employees. While I was filling up, a Costco gas worker walked up to my pump and just stood there staring at me without saying a word. I finally asked if I could help him, and he said he needed to put tape on the pump. I told him okay, but he continued standing extremely close and staring the entire time. Even after I finished pumping, he stayed within arm's reach and kept watching me, then asked if I needed help. The whole interaction felt intrusive and unsettling. I love to peruse the aisles and try to convince myself that I don't need the items they have at the warehouse. I have an Iceland, Greenland trip coming up soon and lots of rain according to the weather forecast. I scrambled around to get a fast eye exam and few pairs contact lenses for the bad weather. I called my Optometry office, they told me the exam cost $140 and another $200-250 fitting fees, without contact lenses, already $400. I just need some pairs for the trip, that price seems too much. Then I called La Harbor Costco Optical, not really have much hope to get the appointment early enough. To my surprise, they told me that they have a spot same day at 3:30 pm. Dr. Cha is very nice and patient asked me how can she help me. I told her my situation, she agrees time is really crunching and provided me 3 different options. Also showed me what Costco has in stock that I can get right away. After I made my decision, Dr. Cha gave a thorough eye exam and let me tried on two different brand contacts. After I made my choice, she provided me the prescription and told me to go get the contact lenses next to her office. She told me if somehow Costco out of stock, went back to her, she will change the prescription for me. Wow, the super service only cost me a total of $115. I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend Dr. Cha to anyone who wants a quick simple exam without make your wallet bleed. read more
