I called the restaurant shortly after and an employee confirmed they had found them and were holding them for me. I told them I would come in that day to pick them up. I was delayed and arrived the next day -- only to be told the sunglasses were now missing. No one, including the manager on duty, had any explanation for how they suddenly disappeared after being confirmed safe the day before. They offered zero accountability and basically shrugged it off. They said they would "look into it" and get back to me. That never happened. I followed up with a voicemail expecting at least basic professionalism and customer service from a national chain like LongHorn. Still nothing. No call back, no apology, no offer to make it right. It's painfully obvious that one of their employees helped themselves to my property and management simply doesn't care. For a place that charges premium prices for steak, you'd think they could manage basic honesty and responsibility for items left behind. Instead they've shown complete disregard for their customers. If you care about your personal property, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This location has lost all my trust and I will never be back. Consider this your warning.

We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. I honestly started questioning my palate. But no, it was undercooked. I love an al dente pasta but like that pasta was hard and sticking to my teeth type undercooked. Grateful for my sealants. LOL The rest of our food was cooked very well. We ordered a bottle of wine. Received a cheaper wine that server opened at the table. She changed it out. We paid, left, no farewells from any staff. To be honest I don't even know where to start but let me try and explain to the best of my abilities what happened Today on 12/21/2021 I approached This restaurant with the desire to look for a part time job, keep in mind I do have my own Business but we live in America and as Americans we do everything we can to reach our goals and dreams, as I go in the hostess greeted me and asked me what I need I told her that I needed to talk to a Manager as I have learned that if you want to have a secure shot in a restaurant you want to introduce yourself and talk to them directly she goes on to tell me that they're in a meeting and I can just do an application online so I said fine and as I am getting ready to leave and she is about to go inside the young lady Sizes me up and gives me this "you don't belong here" look and I was very appalled asking myself if she really just did that, I start heading back towards my car and I decide to turn back and speak with a manager about the situation, I have also worked in the industry since I was 16 Yrs old I worked my way up on both front of the house and back of the house so I know that if I felt as a civilian that I was offended that I need to speak up, I went back to the restaurant and asked the hostess myself if there was an issue , I did not raised my voice once to anyone or was rude to absolutely nobody until the end so I ask what was the issue and her eyes watered down I was not being rude I was not raising my voice at this time and I asked her to go ahead and get a manager I was honestly offended and all I wanted to do was to make sure that the issue was addressed as I am speaking to the manager he seems very polite very nice and we start start talking about the issue, no one is yelling no one is being rude and it seems like he is understanding of the situation. until the owner of the restaurant comes out and the first thing he said was "Are you really entertaining this" and from that point on the owner just start talking over me as if he is above me , keep in mind this is his establishment but I am also a human being and he is belittling me non stop, i tell him that all I want to do is have an adult conversation about what happened and why I felt offended but he is not having it at all and tells me to get out of his restaurant and at this point I said no , keep in mind I am technically outside already, he threatens to call the cops on me, and continue with his belittling behavior as I just want to be heard and all I want is for him to understand what happened. At this point I lose my mind and I did bucked and got on his face and told him that I was going to "Fuck him up" I do take that at fault and I do take at fault for my reaction I should have no reacted in such manner as I curse him out and level with him but his remarks are of a person who thinks they're above anyone else because they own a restaurant he continues and continues belittling me making me feel small, at some point he tells me to go get a job, making me feel like I am nothing and I am a nobody and like I said keep in mind I also said my words I called him fat. But like he said all that fat was earned. The police were called and of course I have to go. The reason why I am writing this is because, it doesn't matter who you are and how much more money you have or don't have , we are all human beings at the end of the day and we should not make each other feel like we are more then everyone else, the owner of this establishment today completely humiliated me and belittled me with a very high and mighty attitude and perdona. So I strongly recommend to not enable an owner like him to continue to do such things and I know it's a long shot but find better food, find better costumer service and find better people to give your money to. Ps. I never called your employee Racist, that word never came out of my mouth, I would never make such an accusation or say something like that nowadays. Was NOT worth the money. My husband and I used to love The Cotton Calf and recommended all of our friends. But after our last experience, we will never go back and we will NEVER recommend. We went on a double date with our friends and had the worst experience. Our service was very slow - our waiter spilled my friend's glass of champagne on the table and plates. He did offer to comp the champagne and got her a new glass, but he grabbed the plates so quickly that the champagne spilled all over my husband's shoulder. He also didn't comp the correct drink, so my friends ended up having to pay for the champagne anyways. All of our steaks were incredibly disappointing. We all ordered filets, but they were all overcooked and did not taste right. We new that the kitchen was busy and our waiter might have been overwhelmed, so we did not complain to him. We decided we would just send a polite email about our food when we got home. Our server had to redo our checks three times and eventually we ended up just letting it go and had to Venmo our friends $35 to fix the mistakes. Our server packed up our food for us, but when we got home and opened up our boxes, he had mixed up all of our food. My husband ordered the crab dip and it had turned blue after only having it in the fridge for 24 hours. My friends call Vincent about their experience first and he took care of them really well. He refunded them and gave them $200 in giftcards, Our friends let him know that we were also disappointed with our experience and that would be reaching out as well. Vincent was not kind to us at all. He acted as if we were a bother and an inconvenience. We were very polite, but he was argumentative. He accused us of lying about the glass of champagne spilling on my husband, was not apologetic at all, and did not refund us our entire check like he did our friends. He also did not include gift cards (which is fine we didn't ask for any, but it is odd that he was so kind to our friends and not us). If Vincent had been kind and apologetic, we probably would have given The Cotton Calf another shot. But after the way he treated us over the phone, we will not be going back. Cotton Calf Kitchen ruined our Valentine's Day. I made reservations for Valentine's Day six weeks in advance, and was told by hostess Kayla I was the very first reservation for Valentine's Day. When the day came I arrived on time but found they had insufficient parking in their lot and had to hike from a farther lot with my wife in heels and the rocks in that lot caused her to trip and twist her ankle. Once we arrived inside, we gave our name and were escorted to a table in the middle of the dining room. I have anxiety issues so asked for one of the empty tables at the edge of the dining room and the hostess said no, that our table was assigned. I said I wasn't informed of this when I made my reservation. She then rolled her eyes at me. So I asked to speak with the manager. She said, with attitude in her voice, that the manager wasn't going to do anything for me, but she would get him. I then spoke to the manager with my concern and he parroted the same speech I was just given. I pointed out that I had made the very first reservation six weeks prior but he said that didn't matter. He said I could sit where we were told or we could leave! I couldn't believe his rudeness. I decided we should vote with our pocketbook and we left. Ok. So let's start off talking about the building. This place is so cool. Exposed brick with a modern, stainless bar for the chefs table and nice cozy booths. The atmosphere starts the second you hit the door. The place is straight out of Atlanta, just without the traffic. All the waiters are well dressed and you definitely get the upscale vibe. Next, the food. My god the food. I swear to you, I would eat dog food if they put it on the menu here. I haven't eaten one thing here that doesn't blow your mind with how fantastic it is. The steak cuts like butter. The salads are fantastic. The shrimp are the size of my hand-seriously. And the dessert. Dear lord the dessert. It's like the heavens opened up and dropped a ray of sunshine on your plate. Order anything and you won't be disappointed. Not many places I can say that about. Now, if the atmosphere and the food didn't sell you, the chefs table will. The chef/owner is the coolest guy. We only sit at the chefs table now. He takes the time to come chat with you and watching him work is like dinner and a show. The guy is intense and definitely knows his stuff. I highly recommend sitting there. Went to eat on Sunday with my husband. The rumor around town was the executive chef left. We had gift cards so were eager to give it a try after this big transition. My husband ordered a petite filet. It was good. Cooked exactly as my husband wanted it Mid-rare. I ordered the crab cakes and a jumbo baked potato. The crab cakes were good but there was more binder than crab. The crab pieces were good. The baked potato was very hard and undercooked. I was hoping for a softer baked potato, especially for 8 bucks! I had only about 5 bites. The service was good. Since the chef left there have been some major changes. It seems like less attention to detail than before. I wanted to be Wowed like my last experience but unfortunately was not. I am not sure who the new executive chef is or if there is one. This place is the BOMB!! You will want to sit at the Chef's Table for the best show in the biz! Chef Javi is not only professional and entertaining but he is also hilarious and polite. He treated us like one of the family. The experience was like nothing I have ever had in my life and I have been to many nice upscale restaurants in my time. The food was perfect as well. If you love Scallops these will not disappoint. The lobster bisque is unbelievable...as for the main course the Garlic Chicken was full of flavor and so juicy. If you love corn and some spice you will want to try the Southwest Cream Corn. I thought steaks didn't get better than Frankie's or bare bones or well all of them I've tried all over Atlanta, this place makes the best steaks. Most places pour too much salt on their steaks. Cotton calf had just the right amount of seasonings, it was perfect. I ordered the petite filet, southwest corn (amazing), brussel sprouts (amazing not sugary like every where else but broth and well really good!). We ordered the pick three form the raw bar, huge soft shrimp, a generous bowl of lump crab and lobster. The lobster wasn't that great so I'll probably skip it next time. The crab was tender and delicious. The service was perfect, he showed up at all the right times without being intrusive I barely noticed he was around refilling wine and water and checking in. My husband and I were the friends referenced in the review by Natalie Adolphson, and she did not embellish anything in her review. We all had the exact same concerns and when I spoke with Vincent about our experience he was very polite and quick to rectify the situation. Just now reviewing. Went there for our anniversary last year (2021). Wife and I had the Cajun ribeye (which our friends told us to get). Both steaks came out over cooked. Our waiter explained that "sometimes it does, but it would take 25 min to get another one". Chose to just go with it. And hear me say... we definitely weren't looking for a free/comped meal - but atleast a dessert or something. Nothing. Just a recommendation to try the Filet the next time from the Server. Lol We've considered going again, but recently read a Facebook review on their page where the owner "went off" on a customer for expressing there opinion about their personal experience. Ambience: Acceptable, nothing really stands out. Seating: 4 tops are way too small for 4 people and impossible to accommodate all sides, wine etc. Service: There's a possibility Joram would make a reasonable waiter at Olive Garden if he could lose the smarmy attitude. Food: Costco quality steaks at three times the price. Wine: See above. Conclusion: Lame service, cramped seating, mediocre food that is certainly overpriced. An excellent and exciting new restaurant has opened in Braselton,Cotton Calf Kitchen. Absolutely amazing food and the service is simply awesome. The atmosphere was very relaxing, The staff is very friendly and pleasant mannered. I'm not even sure where to start with this place. The food is absolutely fantastic. The shrimp in the cocktail are the size of my hand and the pineapple cocktail sauce-omg! Chef Javier is awesome and so much fun to talk to. He has quickly become a friend and you will feel like you've known him for years after just one visit. I should have known about Hoschton. It is an all-white town, run by "Christians" who dislike black folks but I NEVER expected the way we were treated in the town, and at this restaurant. Being an inter-racial couple, we are used to stares. But NEVER have we been publicly shamed, belittled, and mocked as we were in this town, and at this establishment. Black folks are well-advised to "get out The Green Book" and STEER CLEAR of Hoschton, and the Cotton Calf. read more

The food and staff here were fantastic! We started with the jumbo lump crab cake! It was quite possible the best crab cake I've had. I ordered the Delmonico Rib eye and my wife ordered the bone in filet. Both steaks were flavored very well. The creamed spinach was anything short of amazing! The mashed potatoes were subpar however. This place is absolutely fantastic. My husband and I eat here at least once a week and always have a great time. The food is spectacular, but the experience really takes it over the top.
