Cotton:On is a clothing store that also owns Typo which is an accessories store. I've never been to a Cotton:On store until recently when we were at The Westfield University Town Center in San Diego with my brother and his family. My nephew wanted to get something here so we joined him. They are a global fashion and lifestyle brand that sells clothing, accessories, footwear, stationery, and homeware. Clothing includes denim, shirts, jackets, sleepwear, lingerie, and more. It was fun walking around the store and seeing the different neat attire and stuff. I only saw one or maybe two staff members on the floor. It was almost near closing time. I haven't bought new clothes in such a long time. I wasn't planning to start that night. I have plenty in my wardrobe. How much clothing do we need really? LOL Anyhoo, I love the play on words Cotton:On! It has a good ring to it. I was so glad to see Cotton:On here, visiting from the East Coast. They have a great selection for both men's and women's clothing. Cotton:On has great denim, whether its shorts, jeans, or tops... highly recommend! Their denim is extremely comfortable, and honestly, so are most of the clothing they offer. Prices are appropriate for the quality of their items, ~$40 for women's shorts and ~$50-60 for their jeans. This store location was very organized and kept everything super neat + clean. read more

Terrible customer service and work ethic. I'm surprise that they all even have jobs still. The three girls that worked today Oct 2, 2024 were incredibly rude. They were talking shit about customers very loudly as I can hear them from the fitting room while all three girls were just standing behind the cashwrap. No greet in or offer for assistance. I totally forgot that Cotton:On is attached to Typo ! Both have newly opened attached stores in the UTC mall. I was so surprised to see both stores here. I purchased items from Typo and noticed that my receipt said COTTON:ON. Not to be funny but I asked sales person if this was a 'typo'. She said no - Typo is owned by Cotton:On. I purchased items from the Typo in Fashion V but can't remember how the receipt there was labeled. Cotton:On looked spacious and well organized. We were running late back to work so we didn't have time to take pics . It's located to the left of Typo with an partial open wall to Typo. TIP: i went to their website and noticed they have a significant amount of inventory! PLUS, you get 20% off if you register online! Double PLUS, I have a soft spot for anything-sloths, and they carried more sloth inventory items online than in the store! This store reminds me of Roehampton Road which had a popup location in this same mall just a month ago or so. Hopefully Cotton:On sticks around and does well. Employees were very uninterested, borderline rude when asking questions, I couldn't get any help because they were too busy on their phones and chitchatting. I left this store very upset I'm not gonna lie, too bothered to even buy the item I liked. read more

Cecilia was super helpful and very personable. This is the spot for random stocking stuffers at really great prices. No need to go to the 99 cent store. It's also connected to a store called Typo and they have some really cool random things. The only reason they aren't getting five stars is because the quality of a log of the stuff is pretty low. But if you look hard enough you can score some really good finds. Happy hunting. read more

My husband and I were shopping 12.19 fighting busy Christmas shoppers. We walked into Cotton On in the UTC Mall. Nice store good prices. We bought a few things and left Drove 30 miles home in Christmas traffic. Discovered the belt I had purchased was not in the bag. I called the store and talked to Austin he said he could not credit my account for the belt. I had to contact customer service website. Very hard company to contact. Have not heard from them. Didn't expect to so I guess someone gets a free belt. Poor customer service is normal. Austin would say sorry nothing I can do about it. read more

Cotton:On kind of reminded me of the old Anchor Blue stores from back in the day, with a more modern feel. The clothes they had were fairly standard and exactly what you'd expect, but I did get a kick out of the "retro" Full House and Alf shirts. read more

Worse customer service. As a mom you dont plan on having your 2 year old throw up in a store or anywhere. Well that happened and i was so embarassed and mortified, while cleaning the mess up i could hear the young employees talking so much crap. No i didnt expect them to clean up the mess w me but i definitely didnt expect to hear so much trash talking come out of their mouths. One gal claimed she was a manager when she apparently wasnt. Im glad i got a hold of the actual manager who apologized for her employees lack of professionalism. I went into here and took in a product i bought a while ago. i had lost the receipt but still walked in to exchange, as stated on their return and exchange policies. i talked to the very nice lady in cotton on and she said i could pick out something at or above and exchange since i lost my receipt and used cash. i go into typo to find something to exchange and saw nothing so i walked out. this lady stopped me and said "you're going to need to come with me" in a very bitchy tone. i understood that i am a teenage girl and we do this shit but i did not need to be treated in this way. i then explained my situation and she goes "well then where is your receipt" i tell her i lost it and talked to this nice lady in cotton on and she goes "okay let's go over there then." the whole time she was being very unnecessarily aggressive and i understand she was doing her job, but she could've handled this in a MUCH better way. we walked over to cotton on and she spoke to the nice lady and then let me go. i did not get an apology for being disrespected. she just said "okay you can go" again in this bitchy tone. i did not enjoy my experience with this particular employee but i am sure there are other great ones. just be weary of this worker. read more

cutest clothes but the worst staff. my 60 year old mom was w me and got accused of shop lifting in a rude way when she was just trying to find her phone in our lucky brand jeans shopping bag. before that, we went to the dressing rooms and the 2 girls who were working there were incredibly rude and useless. said that they couldn't go find my mom her size in the jeans cause they both couldn't leave in case we shop lifted. what's up w the shop lifting thing?? we don't look poor? also i thought it was a general rule that u don't go rudely accusing people of shop lifting unless u actually see them in the act. we spent over $350 at that store today i don't think we would be worried about shoplifting one pair of shorts i bought from lucky jeans. talked to the manager about all of this when checking out in a polite but informative way just so other customers wouldn't have to deal w it, but the manager was just as impolite and could not care less. also the girl at the dressing room thing was just on her phone texting and gossiping w the other girl not doing any work at all so she could have definitely found my moms size in tjose jeans instead of making her get redressed to go back on the floor and refind the jeans to get her size. horrible customer service. read more
