Buy a car from anywhere else. I purchased a 2017 Chevy Equinox two years ago and it's had problems since.

Overall bad experience dealing with this dealership. Jim gives the run around and doesn't want to assist with any repairs on their $36k truck. Not to mention the check engine light came on a day after having it causing us to pay out of pocket. The cue screen didn't work so you can't adjust the anything on the lower end of the screen. Or change any hvac controls. Which we had to also fix. I would say do some research on the vehicles before they send you home on a "home delivery" without full approved financing. It may save a lot of headaches. A complaint will be filed with the BBB also assuming they have recorded lines of him stating as soon as we get approval we will take care of the driver side running board motor that failed to work. So essentially I would have paid another dealer 4000 in repairs if not more. Jim also said he was apart of the circleville Coughlin which we just learned today is not the case misleading information from the jump. Key fob was to a different vehicle so we have a useless key fob. Awful service from everyone at this point. read more

I was driving home to Indiana from Columbus and had mysterious tire issues. I stopped twice to add air, then at Walmart for a tire gauge. I pulled into this dealership and Caleb saved me! Despite having no internet due to a wide-spread outage, my problem was diagnosed, corrected, and I was on my way in 90 minutes, secure in the knowledge that I could safely complete my journey. Had a written purchase agreement with them. Notified them that I transferred money and would be making the payment within 24 hours. Called in to pay and was told the trailer "sold last night". Gave them the opportunity to cancel that sale to not violate Ohio Revised code for dealerships and they declined. Take your business elsewhere please. I have very rarely written a review and have never written a bad one. I would like to give Coughlin a zero but I had to give them one star to be able to post. Coughlin Automotive knowingly sold my son an unsafe F-350 pickup. When he returned to them asking only for the cost to make the vehicle safe to drive the GM refused to make it right. My son arrived at at the dealership with documentation from two different service centers that the truck was unsafe drive and that any mechanic should have seen it while putting on the new tires at the dealership before the vehicle was sold. The second service center would not release the vehicle and gave him a ride home. What I would like to know is, what the GM would think if someone purposely put his kid's life in danger only so that person could make a profit. I would highly recommend NO ONE would ever consider buying from them, as they do not stand by their product or care about their customers even to put a young man's life at risk. read more

Bought a Tahoe here today. Drove about an hour each way - and it was completely worth it. Small town dealership with people who care. I got a good deal and they explored several options with me. Drew took his time to talk though all the options. He gave me his opinion without being too pushy. Great guy. The finance lady - I forget her name - was great as well. I bought a used Chevy For a little over $10,000 at this dealership and it has been an absolute nightmare. They sell junk used cars. The transmission went out on it two weeks after I bought it, but luckily my extended warranty covered it. When my engine went out on it, nine months later, my warranty did not cover. I'd read reviews of other people having similar experiences, but thought it would not happen to me, but it sure did! Read all the reviews with similar stories! Drew, the salesman. makes lots of promises about how they'll take care of their customers and they want their customers to be happy, but the sales department still wants to charge full price for all repairs. And then Drew won't return the calls... He sure was friendly, though, when he was selling me the car! I went to this dealership specifically because it was a GM dealership. I had my truck in for some warranty repairs about 6 or 7 months ago. I was greeted rather casually by JP. After several phone calls where I was greeted by "what's up dude" and "hey buddy" I got my issues fixed. Then two weeks my wife bought a new Malibu. I was greeted by Jerry with a very condescending tone. And like I was a huge bother anytime I asked questions. I have spent a good amount of money here over the last year or so. Worst experience ever! Went to sign papers, only to find out 1.5 hours after arriving that the truck had been sold out from under me the day prior. I called the morning I was heading there to let my salesman know what time I'd arrive and nobody said a word about the truck being sold even though we had a deal and the salesman suggested we finish the deal on Monday since it was getting late in the day on Saturday. Service department drops the ball. One hundred percent not organized and rude. They definitely need to improve customer service. Paying customer should be treated better. We are not an inconvenience to them because they are unorganized. We've gone there for years but the last couple year their team struggles and are rude. GM said the parts needed were on back order. Craig did everything possible to get the parts. He made several calls to GM to expedite delivery of the parts. The service he provided was outstanding. He went above any other service that I've had anywhere in the past. There are some people who just go through the motions. But Craig is different. I had the worst experience at this dealership. They couldn't find keys to vans or vans for the keys they had. The manager could had care less about my business after talking calmly to him telling him that I had drove there 1-1/2 hours away to see the 20+ cargo vans they had advertised on their website and not one was on the lot and then driving 1-1/2 hours again today to experience this craziness he never once apologized. He only had one excuse and is was there there were 50+ vans of the same kind and it was difficult to keep track of them( there were 4 on the lot the second time I was there and none the first time) they had already pulled my credit and I was approved for the loan they just couldn't put keys with any of the 4 vans so that I could even test drive one.
