A little disappointed. Went in for shellac manicure and pedicure, after what has been almost 3-4 months since this quarantine. I didn't have an appointment but got right in. Bonus. Although I wasn't expecting to have both done at once since they were not busy at all. Ok whatever. It's just uncomfortable when your trying to relax. Fastest service for both I was done in 40 minutes. Worst "foot massage" if you can even call it that. More like a toddler gently rubbing my calves while watching tv for 5 minutes. Left with shellac polish on my skin. And sat there drying from the pedicure longer than the foot massage. Overall thought I was in for better customer service, more attention to detail, relaxing one service at a time. Convenient location not worth it. $63 regret giving ANY gratuity. Won't be back. I don't like the write bad reviews, but this is how my nails look after one week. I've had acrylic nails for 4 years and never had one break - until coming here. The past two times I went I had 3 nails break, one of them only two days after getting them done. They also started using the worst topcoat I've ever had put on my nails. After a couple of days it peels, almost looks like it's disintegrating in patches. ( as you can see in the pictures) I have never seen top coat do something like this and honestly can't believe that this is the quality of products they use when they are the most expensive place I've been too. I won't be coming back, because $30+ for a fill that lasts two days is not worth it. read more

I went here a few times and had a good experience however, the last time I had a gel mani on acrylic, the gel started to peel after only two days (it usually lasts more than two weeks without peeling) and lost two nails within a week. This was 4 visits to get to this review. The first and last time we were put off so they could help other people. We were cut by the nail files, and pressured to upgrade to shellac for 5$, I had already picked out regular polish and really didn't want shellac. I should have not let them talk me into it.( it ended up being 15$ each) I was charged for the coffin shape of nails I was supposed to have that the girl on visit 3 messed up. When I explained what I was told I was told that I had been told the pricing, and that's what the charges were. 75$ for two fills. My previous visits were 40-43$ for two fills. I won't be going back. They have no consideration for appt times. The first time we called for an appt we got there and had to wait 45 minutes. The place was very cute but, my nail polish is clumpy and messy. They were struggling to understand I wanted chrome holographic powder and had to show many pictures, the lady had to get the owner to help her understand. In the past I've had decent experiences with this salon. The past 2 times I've gotten the gel dip nails done they have messed up. Back in March not even a week after getting my nails done they started breaking and coming off. It took 3 months for me to go back and give them another shot and today I told the lady I would like all my nails short and the same size. She didn't trim my nails or even give a full manicure. When I asked if she would make sure they are the same size she said yes but when she started filing my nails after the polish had been applied she left half of them long after she said she would make sure they are all the same length. Then when I asked her to r-file them to get to the same length, they are now all shaped differently. These last 2 times I had the unfortunate luck of having someone who is not very good at the gel dip. If you go here for this service, make sure to ask for the manager(I believe her name is Kathy) because she will make sure everything is exactly like you want it and will listen to your needs! read more

I used to love this place even though I've read all the bad reviews, specifically about them not sanitizing their tools. I literally watched my nail tech wipe someone else's dead skin of the cuticle trimmers and proceed to use them on me. She was super ruff cutting my cuticles. It was pretty painful and now I'm bleeding. She must have been in a huge rush because when she went to do my "massage" she wasn't looking and put the cuticle oil on my knuckles, then rubbed it in, then sat and waited for the timer to go off on my other hand. So i could literally look at the timer and see my massage was 20 seconds long. I had to ask her to removed the shellac nail polish she got on my fingers. She was going so fast that stuff was flying every where! Last but not least, I'm 9 months pregnant and they didn't help me put my sandals on after my pedicure. So my fat ass had to bend over and pick up my shoes and try to manipulate my leg up onto my knees so I could attempt to get my shoes on without messing up the polish. I HATE writing bad reviews. Especially based off of one bad experience when most have been pretty pleasant. It was obviously a bad time and bad nail tech. I really wish they would read these reviews and do something about the service/sanitation of tools. I'll admit this may be my pregnancy hormones talking but I'm just so disappointed and frustrated I'm taking it out on Yelp. read more

I went in for the second time to get a fill and I about choked when they rang me up at $25!! I paid less than that for the full set! She said it was because I had a gel clear coat on and she had to file it off. I wasn't even asked by the first technician if I wanted gel. I really debated on leaving this review because the girl who did my nails was so nice... But I have to. My friends likes to come here and although I'm loyal to my normal salon this was close to her house so I decided to try it out. I had mediocre expectations after seeing pictures and reading the reviews so the fact that it didn't even meet those... We had an appointment for four pedicures only two of which they were able to accommodate at our scheduled time. The other two were about 10 mins behind - no big deal. We sit down and while the three others are immediately beginning their pedicure my (very sweet) lady is MIA for about 15 minutes. Again - not a huge deal. Moving on. First point, the nail polish is messy. Its not as terrible as the cover photo on here but it definitely wasn't good. Second point, normally they file your feet and smooth your skin. She completely skipped this but i didn't realize it until afterwards so I went straight to Target for a pumice stone so I could do it myself. I went in with perfectly healthy, painless toe nails. I now have a swollen, extremely painful toe nail and what feels like will probably turn into an ingrown nail. This was really the tipping point to me leaving a review. I can't even put socks on its so painful. It's red and swollen. Its great. On top of that she charged me $45 for this pedicure. Which now that I look at their menu is a lot more than the listed price so no idea why I was charged so much for poor service and mediocre nails. But I'll reiterate - my nail lady was so nice... So i feel bad having such negative things to say but i had to share my experience. If i hadn't been given a messed up toenail (no idea what she was trying to do) and charged way more than i usually pay for a better pedicure, i would probably go back out of convenience. Came in here a while ago and man did I feel like I was not welcomed. I have a physics issue with my hands where they cramp up sometimes and I can't really control it, the man doing my nails kept frustratingly asking me to stop "holding his hand" and would sorta pull my fingers apart. I was so embarrassed to say anything cause every time he said that I could feel the other employees looking at us. I even told him at one point I have a physical problem and it still felt like he was frustrated with me for not being able to control it..... not to mention It took a long time to do my nails when they were very short acrylics that would've maybe only taken 30-40 minutes to finish. It took an hour and a half. At the end my friend and I went to the car and I almost started crying cause It felt like I was being treated very poorly for something that frustrates and embarrasses me just in general. This experience has stuck with me for a while and all I can say is I'll never step foot in there again, worst nail salon experience I've ever had :(( read more

i absolutely love this place! i am a super picky person about my nails cause i pay a lot and want them done right. it's taken me a long time to find a place that consistently does a good job and i love it here. i always get my nails done by Katie there and she's the best! i work as a dog groomer and bather so i'm really rough on my nails, they always last the 2 weeks and none of them fall off. everyone there does a great job- i've had multiple ladies do my nails, Katie is just my favorite of them all read more

I have only been here twice and so I ended up getting g the Yelp app so I can post a review. I have always had ugly, boyish fingers and nails and every time I tried going to get my nails done, I always hated the results and would come home close to tears, vowing to never get my nails done again. My fingers looked crooked or the nail job would be sloppy (won't mention the lake Stevens salon I've tried several times in hopes of pretty nails). I have given up on nail salon altogether and accepted the fact that I'll never have beautiful nails until I heard of DIP. I saw that this salon does dip and decided to come in for a dip manicure. Simple, nude shade. Nothing fancy. I was sooo blown away towards the end. The girl did an amazing job and my nails lasted for about 3 weeks! I was hooked. I came back yesterday and decided to go for something more daring: red, almond shape nails. The tech didn't seem too pleased to see that I came with old dip on but towards the end, I couldn't believe how amazing my nails turned out. It was a little more work since I had tips added for that almond shape but I'm so so pleased. Will be coming here again and again. read more

I've been here four times now; four fills and two pedicures. Two visits were good, I loved how my nails acrylics turned out and one visit was mediocre as it too almost an hour and a half for a fill. This last time, not so great. My sister and I both got pedicures, I got a fill and my daughter got a full set (she was the only happy one as the guy doing her nails was very detail oriented and her nails looked amazing at the end). There is only one option for pedicures, a spa pedicure for $25, and it's a sad excuse for a pedicure. Everything is very quick, massage is short and doesn't feel that good and at the end when I moved from the pedicure chair to the chair for my fill I was not offered disposable sandals to walk across the floor but they did put a towel down when I got to my chair. My nail tech was switched in the middle of my fill and I left with nails of different lengths that were crooked. It's been about six hours and I already have a nail coming up. After this last visit I won't be back. read more

This is a new place in Lake Stevens so my wife and I decided to check it out. We frequently get pedicures together so my perspective is from the guy side. The decor is very nice. Sometimes the chairs are hard to figure out, or don't work at all. Not here. The friendly staff made sure to get the chair and massage set up just the way I liked it from the start. That makes the whole experience very relaxing. The whole service was excellent. Usually I am done way before my wife because she has her nails painted (of course). Not here. I barely finished ahead of her because of the care they took of my feet. We will for sure be coming back here. read more

Horrible, scam. I got a gift certificate for $25, got a Shellac fingernail paint. I paid using my gift certificate, she told me I had $2 left, I did not bring any cash for a tip, so asked if she could run my credit card for a tip, which she did. I tipped $5 via my credit card. She then gave me $2 cash (I'm assuming the difference from the gift certificate). When checking my account the next day, I was charged $10. Unfortunately I threw my receipt away so didn't bother going back to clear it up. Not to mention, the lady who did my nails was not social, was just speaking to her co-worker next to her in their language the ENTIRE time. This place is a joke of a nail salon!!! First off they are "unable to do an ombre nail effect without an airbrush machine". Ombre is a beginner's technique that does not require an airbrush machine, you can use a makeup sponge. They also charged me an extra $10 (which they did not tell me they were going to do when I was telling them my acrylic plan) for coffin shaped nails and a matte top coat. So they charge extra for nail shape and a top coat, complete rip off that you won't see at ANY other salon. Thank god I had received a giftcard to here otherwise it would have gotten on my nerves more. When I told them i had a giftcard they seemed annoyed and kept asking me how much was on it. After they ran it I had to ask for my receipt, which is shady especially since they kept asking about the original balance (there was originally enough to get a set done and a fill). Their polish selection is seriously lacking, a lot of the same shades by different brands. One lady was customer service "nice", but the one doing my nails was a grumpy hag who made it seem like doing her job was an inconvenience. Judgy looks from the moment I stepped in the door and told them I was there for my appointment. Horrible employees, bad practices, over priced, rude attitudes, bad atmosphere and apparently unable to do more than put an acrylic on and paint it a singular color. Save your time and money and go to literally any other salon than here!!! read more

they did not clean the station before assisting me. they left stray nail clippings and used toe separators around and acted annoyed that I wanted it cleaned. they didn't cure the gel polish long enough and the acrylic is lumpy. they did not honor my appointment time and switched nail tech mid nail fill. overall, they were sloppy and in my opinion not professional. cleanliness is essential, therefore I would definitely not recommend this nail salon read more
