Menu at counter

We finally tried Country Burger- the burgers were very tasty, and the burgers were larger than some other places. The tea was freshly brewed and delicious. They are Counter service, so it was easy and quick to place and receive our order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables were clean and I love that each table had a roll of paper towels (that is so helpful with littles)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were several many televisions, which is not my favorite ambience at restaurants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restrooms were clean and stocked with paper towels and soap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One way to improve: for them to offer at least one side of vegetables that isn't fried. Every side was fried, unless you wanted an entire "salad" of iceberg lettuce... it would be great if they offered steamed Broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, or even fresh spinach.

Still looks same after many yrs Nov 3025

Good to be back. We got regular size burger with sweet potato fries. All yummy. We could have done with one order of fries you get so many so we took them home. Fast service cooking it all from scratch. We have eaten here many times since moving to Plano in 1992 but there are a lot of very good burger joints in town over the years. Competitions is good for customers. Some have gone out of business but Country Burger hanging in there since 1973.

Bacon cheeseburger, fries and fried pickles

Back in the 90s, we ate at Country Burger all the time! A couple of years ago I rediscovered them when I got a job in East Plano. On Saturday we decided to venture out and my daughter wanted to go eat at the Parker Road location. I was excited because as I said, this used to be our go to place for burgers back in the day. When we got there, I ordered a single burger meal, fried pickles and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. It was almost $40! We sat down and waited for our meal and the whole time I kept thinking about how it was almost $40 for burgers! Now I know the cost of beef is a little high right now, but this is getting ridiculous! They call her name and I go and pick up our meal from the counter. I sit down I give my daughter her chicken tenders, and I begin pulling things out of the bag. I thought to myself boy this burger is kind of huge for a single, and then I opened the wrapper and realized they've given me the wrong burger, they gave me a bacon cheeseburger, and I don't know what to do because I've already touched it. So I pull out my receipt to check and that's when I notice he charged me for the wrong meal. I distinctly said I would like a number 5 and he wrote down a number 4. The burger was not completely done, the bacon was good but overall it's just not worth $40. Extremely disappointed with the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also an old location and it is showing, tiles are missing off the floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm just not sure I will be returning at this point.

Average burgers at a premium price. Nothing special. There are many other "burger" places better.

When I am in the area I always stop and get a burger. Either East or West of 75 location, both locations are the best burgers in DFW.

Absolute perfection. The ratio of bun to cheese to burger is on point. At first glance I thought…read morethere is no way that the bun stays in tact; I was wrong. Then I thought if the bun stays intact then it's too much bun; wrong again. I just love when there isn't anything about the burger I would critique. Fries on the other hand were not my style. Felt overfried but they were edible and delicious. Service was fast and nice. I showed up 20 min before closing and they were completely cool with me staying (I left 4 min before closing btw).

I ordered the turkey burger along with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, I was brought regular fries instead, and neither the fries nor the burger really matched my personal taste preferences. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. The service was okay overall, and one thing I did appreciate was seeing people genuinely interacting and talking with each other. In a world where everyone is often glued to their phones, it was nice to see a place that seemed to encourage conversation and connection. While my meal wasn't a favorite, I can understand why this place attracts a crowd. I'd still recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, especially if you're looking for a casual burger spot with a busy, social atmosphere.

The atmosphere was casual and up beat. All the burgers and loaded fries were cooked to perfection. One of our friends had the Bloody Mary and she seemed to enjoy it. I overheard the group say more than once. That whoever recommended this place did a good job. Overall very pleasant experience. I'd definitely eat here again.

There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.

Stopped by today for lunch with my son. It is self seating and you order up at the bar area…read more Service was great, the lady working up front greeted us right away and was very friendly. The restaurant itself has a real cool hip vibe, definitely up my alley. I ordered myself the beer cheese-steak (with fries) and a blue sapphire cocktail - these. were. AMAZING! They even have a "micro brewers menu" aka kids menu, my son chose the mini smashburgers with chips. He loved it so much, there was nothing left on his plate at the end. They have a bunch of board games available to use while dining so my son and I grabbed a Jurassic Park matching game, this was a super fun activity to do together while munching away. We had a wonderful time here and will surely be back soon. :)

I'll start with the positives, this location has so much potential! I love that there's a brewery…read moreright on Main Street. What a fantastic addition to the community. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!
