First of all the burgers and fries are amazing since I had gotten the bacon burger since I'm very picky. I only get mayo on of course the fries I tasted they were so good. Extremely nostalgic place with really good food and very reasonable price. Country Burger, although is very old and "has seen some days," but it is precisely what made this place special. Came to dine in and with two country cheeseburger, a "small" fry (It's more equivalent to Mcd's medium size fry) and a "small" drink (which feels and looks more like a 32oz cup), everything tasted very good and just like the old days! The old school brown lunch bag was used to hold our order and it was so heavy we thought we got some extra, but just 2 very sizable cheeseburgers and fries, and the total with taxes was $23.23. If you are tired of all the "gourmet" burger places that have been popping up left and right in the area in the past decade, Country Burger will truly take you back in time when everything was simple. The burger patties are basic and they are 1/3 lbs, but they felt way heavier than 1/3 lbs. The fries are better version of McD fries and are on the well done side. We finally tried Country Burger- the burgers were very tasty, and the burgers were larger than some other places. The tea was freshly brewed and delicious. They are Counter service, so it was easy and quick to place and receive our order. The tables were clean and I love that each table had a roll of paper towels (that is so helpful with littles). There were several many televisions, which is not my favorite ambience at restaurants. The restrooms were clean and stocked with paper towels and soap. One way to improve: for them to offer at least one side of vegetables that isn't fried. Every side was fried, unless you wanted an entire "salad" of iceberg lettuce... it would be great if they offered steamed Broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, or even fresh spinach. read more

Good to be back. We got regular size burger with sweet potato fries. All yummy. We could have done with one order of fries you get so many so we took them home. Fast service cooking it all from scratch. We have eaten here many times since moving to Plano in 1992 but there are a lot of very good burger joints in town over the years. Competitions is good for customers. Some have gone out of business but Country Burger hanging in there since 1973. read more

Back in the 90s, we ate at Country Burger all the time! A couple of years ago I rediscovered them when I got a job in East Plano. On Saturday we decided to venture out and my daughter wanted to go eat at the Parker Road location. I was excited because as I said, this used to be our go to place for burgers back in the day. When we got there, I ordered a single burger meal, fried pickles and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. It was almost $40! We sat down and waited for our meal and the whole time I kept thinking about how it was almost $40 for burgers! Now I know the cost of beef is a little high right now, but this is getting ridiculous! They call her name and I go and pick up our meal from the counter. I sit down I give my daughter her chicken tenders, and I begin pulling things out of the bag. I thought to myself boy this burger is kind of huge for a single, and then I opened the wrapper and realized they've given me the wrong burger, they gave me a bacon cheeseburger, and I don't know what to do because I've already touched it. So I pull out my receipt to check and that's when I notice he charged me for the wrong meal. I distinctly said I would like a number 5 and he wrote down a number 4. The burger was not completely done, the bacon was good but overall it's just not worth $40. Extremely disappointed with the meal. It's also an old location and it is showing, tiles are missing off the floor. I'm just not sure I will be returning at this point. read more

The food is incredible and the service matches. The atmosphere is nice. They have tables and booths. I sat at a table, but booths are very much like a compartment that seals in your discussions. I haven't eaten at Country Burger in years so thought it was time to give them another visit. Very impressed. The burgers were large and fresh and they give you a ton of French fries. I ordered the double Country Burger with an order or large fries and a large Coke Zero. Found a seat right after ordering and they were already calling my name to pick up my order after only a few minutes. The burger was very filling and with the fries, it filled me right up. This location is very large inside and there is plenty of seating. The ambiance is very country which makes perfect sense given their name and the fact they are a local family-owned company. As a family we have been dining at CB for over 20 years. They are one of our favorite burgers in the area. Overtime, like anything else, prices have increased and portions have decreased. Burgers are made to order, fries are always fresh and crispy. Service is hit or miss, cost per person is average $13-16. Causal dining environment, plenty of seating. Past few visits have been a bit disappointing due to portion/size of food. But we will always be fans. read more

I've been here two times and so disappointed . first time I ordered a chicken sandwic, the chicken no flavor n dry. I said ok well since it's a burger place I'll order a burger next tim. Second time I ordered a cheeseburger and again disappointed meat no flavor, very greasy. The meat was pale, not grilled for sure. Fries were not fresh. Big burger, big side and lots of yums! We aren't local, but are happy to come to Country Burger when in town to see family. My husband grew up in the area and used ti go to the original location when he was in high school. He says it's the same great quality! I LOVE the BLT, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If they call it large they mean large, so be aware when ordering. Only minus is multiple times the bathrooms have been out of soap or paper towels, but there's always someone around to help. read more
