Cons: my husband and I haven't been to a shake shack in over a decade. So he was very surprised by how upscale they've become. It was so difficult to find parking. Unlucky for us there was this area to the side for DoorDash drivers and mobile orders. I waited in the car. He was horrified that a burger, fries, and a drink cost $20. Pros: but he ended up loving the burger. The quality of the meat was good. Paired with the bun it was delicious. The fries were his favorite part! They came coated in some sort of spicy cheese sauce. He even liked the Coke. It was very cold, with a higher ratio of carbonation to syrup. This location was modern and clean. We will definitely be eating at Shake shacks more often. read more

There is nothing to address about the concerns raised in your comment aside from what was already explicitly stated. Just read it again and hopefully do something about the concerns, that's all. Why should onus be on the customer to then have to do more work to repeat the same thing. Let me reiterate and outline the main points discussed. (1) The entrance and exit points to get to your physical location. A cursory glance or drive to the place should expose this logistical nightmare. (2) Pricey food. Why is a receipt needed? It's your own menu and prices. Look at them. $9 for a single patty burger for reference. It costs me a fraction of that to make and half of that at any other comparable burger joint. read more

Today's visit was decent. Mom and I had a quick lunch date. I tried the lettuce wrap burger for my first time here at Shake Shack. I usually make them at home. To be honest I like my version better. I'm very happy they offer this healthier option. Something was missing today. I think I should have gotten extra sauce. Or it may have been I thought the burger was wrapped in way too much lettuce. Actually I like their burgers best with buns. I missed the bun. I love the krinkle cut fries. It's enough for sharing with my mom. Service was GOOD! The staff were very friendly. So since I'm pregnant, I have this random burger craving so I looked up on Uber eats and shake shack popped up on my list so why not I haven't tried it before. Came for the Korean Chicken sandwich. Waited an eternity. Sandwich came out tepid, soggy, and mediocre. No way they were frying the chicken fresh. Cold bun. Slightest hint of kimchi flavor. You do all the work.... clumsy self entry for orders, prices are over the top...Wife and I ordered two burgers, one fry, one onion ring and two drinks...$45... ..the price was over the top but that wasn't the issue. Decided to try Shake Shack for some burgers to finally settle the Shake Shack vs In-N-Out debate. I got the Link Shack double burger with cheese fries and the Tiramisu shake. The Link Shack burger was good. Flavors were balanced, and the sausage worked very well with the burger. Cheese fries were a pleasant surprise. I am normally not a huge fan of crinkle-cut fries, but they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Tiramisu shake for me was a miss. It seemed like an extremely sweet vanilla shake with a hint of coffee and a stale ladyfinger thrown on top. This location was super clean and had a very well-done interior. The staff was extremely kind in bringing out our orders and even taking our empty trays. Both Shake Shack and In-N-Out are amazing places, but in the great debate, I gotta say I land on the side of In-N-Out. read more

On a whim we decided to try out the new location of Shake Shack in Plano on W. Park. It only recently opened. While normally we would wait a while for kinks to be worked out, we both just had a hankering for their burgers. The place has an nice layout. Four kiosks for self ordering are in front of the counter. I will say that while I do enjoy the simplicity of going up to the kiosk and inputting exactly what I want with my customizations, I do become a tad uncertain whether I should go to the lone cashier or utilize the kiosks. My SO ordered a Double Shackburger and I ordered a single Shackburger (mine well done with added onions and a side of Shack sauce). We both also ordered fries. According to the text confirmations, our burgers were done within 5 minutes of ordering. That was pretty fast! Both burgers were cooked and prepared exactly as we requested. I especially loved the crispy edges of the burger meat (and why I order it well done). That cannot be beat. Fries were hot and crispy. No complaints there. One note is that the side of Shack sauce was missing, but honestly, it was not a big deal at all. Not going to fault them for such a minor thing, especially as they're trying to get their sea legs. Overall, we had a great experience and am excited to have a Shake Shack next to Trader Joe's. It'll be an incentive to make the trek down to Plano more often! read more

Probably one of the best Shake Shack locations in the country. Each time I visit, whether busy or empty, it's consistently the same--clean, quick, and friendly! I've never waited longer than 10 min for my food, and it's always hot and fresh. The food was okay. Just a normal burger. There was nothing spectacular about the food especially for the cost. 2 burgers, 1 order of fries, and 1 shake was 36 dollars. The burger patties are thin and fully loaded it's the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger. The s'more shake was alright but nothing to really write home about over other less costly places. This large new Shake Shack is true to the tradition of this brand. Everything is prepared perfectly and the staff is just great. The only odd part is that there were only about ten customers present and only a few came in while I was there. The sign says the capacity is 168. Either this brand no longer has the following it once did or customers have not noticed this location. The menu is limiting, as they only offer burgers and a few chicken items. Went last week for the first time at this location, it was great! You can order at the counter like normal or from the iPad station (there are 4 when you walk in). We ordered from the iPad station and it was super easy and quick to use. We got two double shack burgers, hot ones cheese fries, and chicken bites. The burgers were amazing, as always! I ordered a double patty ShackBurger and it was pretty good. The patties were bigger than the bun, so definitely grab napkins. This was my first time trying the chicken bites and they were tasty! I was impressed that there was flavor and that the honey mustard and bbq sauce were a shake shack brand. The cheese for the cheese fries reminds me of stadium nachos, so I'd rather use the sauces. I believe they may have quite a few staff being trained. I enjoyed seeing workers shadow each other and get assistance. You can tell the efforts from the trainers are well planned with walking folks through tasks. The workers seemed to enjoy their time, but there was a bit too much playing around that was visible or audible to guests. A neat feature is that they have an online order pick-up drive thru.
