Another staple of Bay Village. Delish as usual. Brought home a batch for myself since my son has a nut allergy and cannot have any. Worth a stop in for a taste of your childhood!!

So I go in and order cranberry and pumpkin pie fudge. On the counter is a sample platter. It was clam fudge. Yes clam. I tried it. Interesting is how I would describe it. Haha. Made with clam juice. It was like eating a sweet ball of clam fudge The other fudge was very good.

Yesterday I had a wonderful experience at the fudge shop in Bay Village. I have never been there before and I know my mother wanted some fudge while I was at the shore. This food shop had a great collection of different flavors they have the family box and also a personal box of fudge and so many different varieties that even if you loved one certain kind of fudge, you would wanna try a different size box with other selections of flavors. They also had end cuttings which were about $4.75 and had a chunk of delicious fudge, too. In the end, I brought home.... pistachio, salted caramel, M&M's, triple chocolate almond And chocolate. Everyone in the house was very satisfied and happy

Amazing fudge! I always make sure to visit this place to get my fill of diverse and tasty fudge. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. And who doesn't like the smell of sweetness when walking into any storefront.

I picked up a few flavors of fudge yesterday and was disappointed. It had been a couple of years since I'd had their candy and it didn't have the same flavor. Not sure if management has changed but it just wasn't the same. Staff didn't seem too enthusiast either as I ordered. Probably try another place for fudge the next time I visit LBI.

Need to make friends fast? Need a last minute gift? Need to upstage a frenemy at the next gathering? Get some fudge from Country Kettle! For me, fudge equals vacation at the shore - I wouldn't say I love fudge or crave it regularly, but it's something I always like having when I'm visiting a beach town. Country Kettle definitely delivers the goods. A standout shop in Bay Village, Country Kettle welcomes you as you enter with glorious views of fresh fudge still in the pan along the back wall of the shop. The variety is crazy, things you never thought could be a fudge flavor, are! There are a number of different box sizes to choose from, each being able to hold a certain number of flavors. I went with a box that hold six and chose coconut, Mexican mole (spicy!), maple bacon, salted caramel, Toll House, and M&M. Each flavor was unique and delicious. I also appreciated that the fudge wasn't too sweet, which made the flavors shine even more. Definitely stop by here if you're in LBI.

This was truly an incredible meal from start to finish…read more My fiancé and I are getting married here next year so we wanted to take our families so they could see the restaurant and sample some of the food. Our server Amy was wonderful and really made the meal. She was kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the menu to us and answer all our questions. Never once did she make us feel rushed and we were there for several hours. We sampled what felt like the entire appetizer portion of the menu because why not! Raw oysters, roasted oysters, tuna crackers, octopus, clam chowder croquettes...You name it. We had it. Hands down these were the best and freshest raw oysters I've ever had. The New England clam chowder croquettes and tuna crackers were other standouts to me. I could have made a meal of these alone. When it came to mains, again no surprise everything was incredible. The crab cakes were a hit. Not an ounce of filler in these. All crab. We had a bit of a later rez so we were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunset on the bay. The perfect end to a perfect meal. The views are unmatched here and the atmosphere is a bonus. Parker's has quickly risen to one of my favorite restaurants on the island.

Listen, before I get into this review, dear reader, you must know I'm someone who loves salt. I'll scarf down a whole bag of snyder's pretzel pieces (nearly 100% of your daily sodium value) at once! I love it so much that I won't be shocked if it's a problem by the time I get to my own "60th" birthday. Never in my life did I expect the jump scare of a salad so salty it made me nearly choke. My mother got the shredded cabbage salad. All of us had a bite. It was like mainlining Morton right from the blue container--a rush of adrenaline, a shock to the system. A stomach ache. My mother sent it back. I tried to enjoy my Caesar salad and my sister-in-law tried to enjoy her green salad, knowing hypertension is a slightly better fate than being branded a 30-something New Jersey Karen during peak vacation season. But it was so bad that surely it had to be mistake and they didn't know! It wasn't like this other times we were here. We should do the kind thing to tell them. So we made the mistake of telling the manager. And this is the reason I'm coming out of Yelp retirement to write this review. The manager alleged we were LYING, saying it was "quite odd" all three of us wanted to return our uneaten salads--send in Sherlock Holmes! We've got a mystery on our hands. They didn't eat their dinner because it made them feel sick. When I asked if she seriously just accused us of lying, she walked back and said "well, the chef said this is not a mistake. This is exactly how it should taste. And maybe every restaurant is not for every person." Quite honestly, I have never been to a restaurant before where I couldn't eat my meal--and then was scolded about it! I can't even recall a time I have sent food back. And after reading the reviews, it's confirmed I'm not alone. I will say, they did take the salads off the bill, and the server (not the manager) was lovely. I gave it one star because--in between contemplating a $45 kids meal--there was enough salt in the food to make my one year old nephew finally speak. Guess what he asked for? "Water"

You come here for the seafood and it doesn't disappoint. We had the lobster bake which had a mountain of clams and muscles. It could have used some broth in the bowl to keep from drying out. The lobster was very juicy. I had the broiledseafood combo. While the crab cake was outstanding the flounder, scallops and shrimp were overly dry. Lastly, the garlic Dungeness crabs - the menu description is spot on - get dirty with this one. Take the bib and have plenty of napkins on hand! Very garlic forward in a good way. Everyone talked about the ranch dressing, not sure what the hype is. It's definitely better with the balsamic opposed to separately. Love the overall atmosphere and will be back.

The bar service was fantastic despite how busy they were, the bartenders were friendly and seemingly happy to help. A pleasant surprise to other establishments that can get as busy as this restaurant. It took a while to get seated, but to be fair, we had no reservations and a larger party. Carly was our server and she did awesome for the how many tables she was juggling. The food was excellent but could have come out a little faster. All in all a great place, we'd come back for sure.
