    Cheesesteak omelette
    John P.

I was driving through and stopped here for breakfast. I ordered the "Philly Cheese Steak Omelette." The eggs were fluffy and there was plenty of filling which are all good things. I also had a side of sausage patties. The sausage tasted fine but was a sort of whitish color. The coffee was just okay but I am really picky about coffee. The server was very nice and friendly. My biggest gripe is that for a truck stop type of restaurant, the service was really slow. At this sort of place, you like to be in and out quickly. I was by myself and it took over an hour to get in and out. It really needs to be faster than that. The bottom line is that the food and service were okay but not great. I would come back here in a bind but if I am on the road and in a hurry, I would seek out another choice.

A travel center? Not really! Country Pride is nothing but a truck stop with a menu full of fattening foods having flavors akin to that of Peterbuilt airbrake linings being served to obese truck drivers. The food is cheap, both in quality and price, served big portion size in a sort of diner like atmosphere with dirty floors next to an adjacent truck supply/convenience store. With the fact being that it is situated in godforsaken Barkeyville, it may indeed rate Five Stars, as another review gave it but more than likely being in comparison to anything else Barkeyville has to offer.

    Fish basket. WTF!!!!
    Michael B.

This place is a joke. Soup is cold, salad bar is full of dried out salads and veggies. Finally my main course: I order the fish basket. Supposed to be 3 pieces of fish and fries. I didn't want fries and ordered the cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is ok. The Fish!- take a look. Instead if 3 pieces I get 1 piece cut into 3 pieces. What a joke. Waitress was ok but friendly. Not eating here again. Cool- go back to culinary school and finish that train

Steak & eggs with pancakes / fruit

Im not sure why this place is rated so low? What do you expect in a truck stop? The food is good and what other options do you have in Barkeyville... theres a burger king and arbys... people are ridiculous. If i had to compare this place to anywhere i would say its similar to an Ihop with a more country vibe to it. Food is good, food isn't expensive and servers are all very nice and attentive. If you're a trucker and dont feel like eating fast food, definitely a good and convenient alternative.

Nice and fresh salad bar with lots of good healthy choices. Also fresh hot soup. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Breading on the steak was much too salty but luckily the potatoes and gravy were not so it kind of balanced out. The meal came with the soup and salad bar. Hubby had the black bean soup and a flatbread with sauce and veggies that was a good size and again nice and fresh. We stopped for lunch so don't know about breakfast or dinner. Most other reviews are older so there may be new management. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for good home cooked country food!

Grilled chicken, eggs, ss up home fries, dry white toast.

This Burger Bar is located in a strip mall, minutes away from The Grove City Premium Outlets, gas stations, hotels, shops and other restaurants. Blackout can be a very busy place, so be warned, as it caters to a mix of locals, hotel guests and the outlet mall shoppers. Luckily, I went just before the dinner rush on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The menu has a selection of items, including their featured and more popular burgers. You also have the option of building your own burgers, and every table comes with a build-your-own sheet with multiple choices for customizing your burger. I ordered the 'Range Roaming Bison Burger' with bacon cooked to medium well, as you have a choice on how you want your patty cooked. I also ordered a side of their monstrous, massive onion rings that they are also known for. The food came out quickly, and my burger was cooked as I ordered it. The Onons rings were very crispy on the outside and were still hot inside as I got to the inside of them. They also have salads, soups, chilli, featured sandwiches, and apps on the menu. There is a beer menu that has standard and craft beer selections. The Blackout is a very popular spot for beers, burgers, sandwiches and accommodates people of all ages. Overall, a great experience, with good food and good service, and a place I would want to try again.

Wow - so glad to have found this country road sandwich shop!…read more We had spent the morning picking berries and wanted something to eat before the hour drive back home. This popped up in a search of the area and was highly recommended, so we gave it a shot. I knew it had to be good when I noticed the line of people waiting to order! There's to go salads and sides, fresh teas, convenience items like sodas and chips, and also a deli. They bake their breads fresh. There's probably a dozen sandwich options. In my two visits, I've ordered the spicy chicken and it has been nothing short of amazing. Fresh ingredients, huge portions and lots of flavor! They also have donuts and my favorite -old fashioned cream sticks. Service was very friendly and prices more than fair. Very small dining room with a few tables and a counter. More seating would be nice.

Horst Sandwich was the first suggestion and seemed to be a no brainer, with the number of reviews and the rating. We walked in and there was a line nearly to the door. I was a bit hesitant about the wait time but honestly, we were in line for all of five or six minutes. That's IT. This was not their first lunch rush and they handled it with speed and smiles. I went with another patrons recommendation of the spicy chicken wrap and was not disappointed. So much flavor, a good amount of heat and the veggies were super fresh. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back, should I find myself in the area again!!
