    Curry chicken, macNcheese and collards...
    Douglas V.

Curry chicken was delicious and literally fell off the bone. Huge portion, should've been enough for lunch and dinner, but I ate it all!

I ordered the brown stew chicken with rice and peas with a side of collard greens. Everything was so good! The greens were on the sweeter side, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm so glad we have a good quality Jamaican spot on this side of town.

The owner is really nice, and the customer service is always great. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. My go-to order is the lemon pepper or honey hot wings with the cheesesteak egg rolls, and they always get it right. Fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time. Definitely one of those places that keeps you coming back.

After a long day, I didn't feel like cooking as planned so my boyfriend set out to find dinner for us. I was craving pizza or wings, either could work. To my surprise he brought home both from two restaurants that we hadn't tried just yet. He opted for a 20pc lemon pepper honey hot, my favorite, and what a great decision that was. The wings were piping hot when he brought them through the door and they were super saucy, just how I always prefer. I've had a bunch of wings in my lifetime, especially since I've lived in Atlanta and baby, these were top tier. They were fried so well, they almost tasted like they were made in a wood-fire grill. The crispiness was still in tact even after being covered in sauce. And the sauce! It was sweet, but spicy and lemon-peppery, lol - seriously, a fabulous combination and a joining of two great ATL specialties. I hated to see those wings go and have been planning our return ever since. Here's to hoping that the next experience is just as amazing as the last!

The service is pretty good, the guy serving us gave us extra wings with our order and allowed us to sample different protein options before making our final decision, which was nice. However, the flavor of the food was pretty bland. And the vegetable spring rolls were very dry. I could also tell the food had been sitting out for some time because the temperature of the food was pretty low which was disappointing. We ate our food outside in the covered seating area so the ambiance was casual.

I had passed it their stall a number of times because I knew I wanted banh mi as my main dish and figured I would end up with something heavy from Saigon Street Food so I skipped over them. Well, I made one more loop around and I saw the honey chicken. Listen. That chicken looked ASTOUNDING. Shiny, caramelized, well-seasoned, it was a sight to see. I had to get a piece, just one! How happy was I when I saw that they had "1 piece of chicken" on the menu, lol. As I got closer, I saw that all of the food looked just as tasty and as flavored as the next. But I already had so many bags, I had to chill. I did ask the super nice guy behind the counter, (who sweetly greeted me with, "How can I help you, queen?"), for a super small piece of the pork that was paired with jalapenos and garlic - he proceeded to give me the biggest piece ever . Southern hospitality. The food itself was less than $6 but I also grabbed 3 cans of juice/nectars that stood out to me and they cost more than the food. The food was SO good. Omg, both the chicken and the pork were so flavorful and juicy. The jalapenos seemed to be candied and tasted so good paired with the garlic and pork. Seriously fantastic food. I'm already planning my return for a full meal.

They haven't been anywhere else but Mableton!!!! I guess this is what Mableton has to offer. We need the Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Decatur, West End, East Point Jamaican joints out here. The authentic people whom know how to create the right balance, etc. I wasted $36.00 (ask for the receipt) Lastly the tip screen irks me. It's everywhere. Nope-it's a never again for me It's a cute spot tucked away in a plaza if you want to hang out and chit chat with a friend or two & eat some fries (can't go wrong with those right) *side note I did call to see if I could get a refund or even replace this for my client.
