The new restaurant had been getting a lot of buzz recently, so naturally, I decided to give it a try. Because apparently, I enjoy testing my patience and spending money to be disappointed. I ordered the special of the day, which during this visit was the Curry Duck. You'll notice a sign behind the counter warning you that, when they get busy, your food may take longer than 30 minutes. Honestly, I appreciate the warning. What I did not expect was to arrive quite early in the day, probably within the first hour of opening, and still wait approximately 1.5 hours for our food. At that point, you start to wonder: Do they actually have a chef? Does anyone know how to run a restaurant? Did any preparation happen before opening? Or do they simply wait for you to order and then begin the entire cooking process from scratch, one lonely plate at a time? I paid approximately $26 for a plate of curry duck and received what appeared to be a plate of small bones resting peacefully on top of approximately four cups of rice. There was so much rice that I briefly wondered if I had accidentally ordered a side dish for the entire neighborhood. However in their defense the food is delicious. Maybe they were just having a bad day. To be fair, you could smell food burning while a thick layer of smoke slowly filled the restaurant, so things were clearly going wonderfully in the kitchen. Maybe they were overwhelmed. Maybe they felt rushed. Maybe the curry duck was fighting back. All I know is that while the restaurant was struggling to keep up with its food orders, but hey the owner made sure to place her Christian Dior bag prominently within everyone's line of sight for our viewing pleasure. At least someone was having a good day.

I stumbled upon Ms B's kitchen and decided I must go and check it out and support. I felt comfortable as well with visiting for the first time when the lady at the counter confirmed to me that this location is also connected to the well established Ms B's in Fort Lauderdale. My order today was the bake and shark as well as the special for the day, crab and dumplings. Unfortunately the cashier rang me up for the bake and saltfish. It wasn't until the order arrived that I realized the mistake and decided not to make a fuss about it. The food arrived quickly and steaming hot! The bake and saltfish was large ... a good portion. The crab and dumplings the same. The food was tasty. The ladies at the front are jolly, service oriented and quick. They kept things moving. The restaurant is designed for pick up, however there is a place to dine in. Casual seating/atmosphere. Clean, and functional. I want this spot to succeed because of my experience with the Fort Lauderdale store. In about a year, once they work out the kinks in some of the minor things that are significant in making restaurant operation successful, they will be a top notch Caribbean restaurant worthy of exceptional accolades. This is definitely a spot to visit on the regular as they grow into who they are designed to be.

First of all, excellent customer service! the food is cooked to order, not a fast food place. I had the doubles and bake and shark and was more than satisfied. Loved the variety of trini beverages available. I will absolutely be back. See my review on YouTube at TriniBelleATL!

Our first time visiting today after my husband found the page on Instagram. I cannot rave enough about the authenticity of the food and vibes. My entire family is from TnT and it tasted like home. The team is awesome and we will be constant supporters.

So glad to have a Trini place in Smyrna! This would be 5 stars if only they were quicker. It's such a popular place but they have to learn to manage the kitchen quicker. We've stopped by to order for lunch takeout and ordered delivery for dinner. It's small inside but had maybe three tables for people to sit and enjoy their food or to wait. So far we've had the curry chicken, curry shrimp, fried fish filet, wings, kids chicken tenders and for sides pumpkin, bus up shot, channa and potatoes, and Bodi. Everything was seasoned well and tasted great. I love their roti too. For both the chicken and shrimp curry, there could be more meat. It only came with 6 shrimp, I think 8 would've been good for the price. A plate comes with the main and two sides. I hope this place stays because we'll be back. My husband already said it's his fave restaurant in the area after only eating from here twice.

As a True Trini, I am always on the hunt for authentic Trinidadian food around the city and was happy to learn this spot had opened up and was not as far OTP as Stone Mountain and Conyers. At the time I went they had not yet expanded so the storefront was small inside and didn't really allow for much of a "dine in" experience outside of a couple small tables. The owner was pleasant and patient, and I was exited as I read some of the more traditional Trini offerings in the menu that I wanted to order. I decided to go with the Doubles, Dhalpourie, Curry Goat Roti, Alloo Pie, Pelau, Fry Bake and Saltfish, Pholourie, and a Red Solo and Pineapple Chubby to wash it all down. The Doubles were really good and I would go back just for those. My second favorite thing was the Goat Roti. I opted for the whole experience with pumpkin and bodi so it was quite tasty, but I felt it could have had a lot more actual pieces of meat within. The Fry Bake and Saltfish was just ok...The saltfish was too dry and the bake was a bit too dense and could have been crispier on the outside and fluffier on the inside. The Pelau was also a bit of a let down as the rice was overcooked and mushy and the dish had too much coconut milk in it so that was the only flavor that came through. The Aloo Pie was good and I would order that again a long with the Pholourie and Dhalpourie skins. Though there were some misses with a couple items I would probably skip next time, the food was good overall and I want to try some other menu items upon my return.

This place was incredible. The doubles taste light and fresh and were instantly devoured. I also got to try the Bake-N-Shark and it was so light, flavorful and so so tasty. It was extremely well balanced. Also a shout out to the Alloo Pie and Pholoutrie I swiped off my friend. Insanely delicious. The service was quick, the place was small but comfy and it was hopping hopping. I'll be back.

The customer service was exceptional...I was greeted upon entry, asked if I had been prior and then graciously given a brief explanation of the menu and some of the items. The overall portion size was a pleasant surprise and the food was FAN-EXPLETIVE-TASTIC...I was very pleased!! If it was a little more cost-effective, I'd be a regular visitor, but as currently constituted, I will still definitely be popping in from time to time! I forgot to look at the "Health Score", but they've been open for less than a month, so if the score isn't stellar, that is a MAJOR problem!! Sight unseen, I feel pretty strongly that Ms. B's is up to snuff on their "Health Score" though...Party on!! =)

I ordered thru DoorDash and had issues with Dasher and delivery but Sasha went over and beyond by remaking my order and adding extra items for the inconvenience. The corn soup and coconut cornbread is soooo delicious and the wonderful flavor and just right amount of spice made me feel amazing as I'm dealing with a sinus infection. Thank you Ms. B's and Sasha and will definitely reorder from you and recommend to all ATL

Man the food is so good pholourie was the best I've ever had, got the stew fish it's a huge portion enough for two meals no doubt. Packed full of flavor can't wait to come back and try something else on the menu. The lady working the register was really friendly made great recommendations. The owner came out and checked on everyone, the space does seem like it's mostly for take out but I sat down and had lunch inside and enjoyed it. You definitely get island vibes from the place, can definitely recommend others to come try this place!!

This was my first time trying a Trinidadian restaurant called Mrs B's Kitchen, and I was pleasantly surprised. I started with the doubles and the pholourie. The doubles were good, definitely spicy but in a good way. Flavor was there. The pholourie just wasn't my favorite, but that's personal preference. For my entrée, I had the curry chicken with pumpkin, bodi, and potatoes. The bodi was hands down my favorite, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The curry itself was seasoned well and comforting. Now let's talk about the conch fritters... bussin and cussin. Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely the highlight for me. Overall, solid food and a great introduction to Trinidadian cuisine. I'd definitely go back and try more items on the menu.

All I can say is, I'm glad to have you here in Smyrna. Everything I had today was on point. I had the Doubles with everything and the Beef Pie special. Along with one of her house mar grapefruit drinks. As always I never give a full on rating until I make a cpl of visits. I will most definitely be back!!

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

Many were notable including one from one of my favorite cooking shows! All items ordered were delicious which included a curry goat roti, a vegetarian roti and six doubles. I had heard about doubles from Trinidadian friends, but do not recall experiencing personally. The couple in line before me ordered 10 and I was intrigued! Doubles consisted of chick peas and potatoes inside of a round pastry that resembled a flattened biscuit, but with much better flavor. The filling was available in varying levels from hot to a bit sweeter. I selected a mixture of the two for my personal ones. Others I bought were hotter for my heat loving partner. Extremely popular in the Caribbean culture and now, I know why. Parking is available in the rear of restaurant, and ample dining space in two rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Tassa for reasons mentioned above. Service has always been exceptional and informative - I ask questions! Will definitely return again and again!
