Stopped in for a flash tattoo after running The Speed Project (a relay race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas). There was a design sheet where we could pick from a selection of designs representing different aspects of the race. Understandably, all the artists were slammed with appointments but thankfully one of the artists was able to squeeze me in. He was super friendly and efficient. I felt like I was at the nail salon because he was so friendly and chatty. The little piece I got took less than 10 minutes and I was out of there. The whole process was so fast, I completely forgot my guy's name! I would like to emphasize that he was very patient as I was trying to figure out the optimal spot to place my tattoo. I only switched the position once so hopefully it wasn't too annoying for him, but I've definitely encountered some places that had artists that were rude. I wish that I could rate my tattoo experience at Counts a 10 out of 5. My best friend and I scheduled appts with Rose and Juice for my 50th birthday trip. I emailed a picture of what I was looking for, and Juice DELIVERED. Her drawing was 100x's better than what I imagined. The next time I want a tattoo, I am ready to hop a plane and go back to Vegas, just to get it done by Juice. Rose did my friends tattoo, and it is adorable as well. Disrespectful and rude staff. I have a chronic illness and wanted to be tattooed before my partner and the artist, Rose refused to re set up her station to accommodate my latex allergy. When she also refused to alter and resize the stencil she had drawn for my partner, we realized it was time to leave. Lack of professionalism, no compassion and she didn't even bother to take the time to draw her own sketch, just traced a piece of reference art. Beware! Dang! Have you seen the line work Shane does?! It is beyond amazing. I recently had him do a "We the People" tattoo which turned out much better than I expected. This tattoo was my 7th and it is the best and I have one that Lyle Tuttle did back in the early 70's and Shane's work is much better. For those of you who do not live here, in Las Vegas, and plan on getting some ink while in town, be sure to make an appointment with Shane to do what you want. Might have amazing art but horrid customer service. I think of the owner knew how lackadaisical the staff were he might not stake his reputation on it. Husband and I went for our anniversary, after much conversation with Dani the manager, after sending tons of information, photos and being specific on what we were looking for pocket watch tattoos with extreme detail when we arrived on may 10, our 2 year anniversary, we saw a very simple and lame design. Nothing in the realm of expectation from our conversation and assurances from the manager of what they were capable of. After being told a different artist could do it no one ever returned our calls or emails for making another appointment. How awful they care so little about their reputation and lack of at least making potential customers feel welcomed or valued. read more

Got a tattoo from Andrey last week. Before meeting him we had texted and we talked about what I want it to look like. He was very knowledgeable during the consultation, told me what fonts and colors would work best for my skin and took care of all the details I wanted. Tattoo looks beautiful! Andrey definitely knows what he's doing! He was so friendly the entire time that I barely noticed how time passed. I received clear aftercare instructions and expectations. He followed up in the next few days to make sure that it's healing properly and if I have any questions about aftercare and encouraged me to come back or reach out if there are any issues. I honestly don't know where to start with this review. My girlfriends and I arrived Tuesday morning to set up an appointment and spoke to one of the workers there (both of the guys were hilarious and cute! HA!) giving him our ideas for what we wanted which was very vague. He worked with Noel and set up an appointment for 8:30 that evening and we were so excited. They charge a minimum of $100.00 for all of their work which is similar to almost all Vegas tattoo shops. This place was super clean, amazingly run and provided us with the best tattoo experience we've had to date. We were there for my friend's 30th birthday and Noel went out of her way to sign a poster for her which was a super nice touch. The design she came up with was perfect, and we all got matching tats. Watching them take down and set up the station for each person was amazing. The attention to cleanliness was not taken advantage of at this location and time was spent to ensure that everything was sterile and clean. That made me feel much better about choosing this location for our tattoo. I am sorry to see the negative review simply because group designs weren't ready. This should not speak for the quality of tattoos, amazing customer service, and clean shop that Counts is known to provide. They are an EXTREMELY busy shop and therefore it is understandable if artists couldn't come up with designs for a convention. I have Noel's number and will certainly be in touch. I'd love for her to do my future tattoos and will be sure to follow up with her to see when she's in Anaheim. If not, I would GLADLY make the 4 hour drive and stay at the Rio to get a tattoo from this amazing shop! read more

I'm so incredibly disappointed by Count's. My boyfriend and I were excited to attend the Star Trek convention at the Rio last weekend. Last year, Count's offered up a discount to Trekkies and I talked this up so much that we were planning on getting something done (even with inflated Vegas prices.) We stopped in on Wed and were told that they would have some small flash pieces available at various prices, and to come back the next day. Went in Thurs morning and they weren't ready, said to come back that evening. That evening they still weren't ready and asked us to come back the next day. The next day the artists hadn't created any flash and we were told they wouldn't have anything for us. "Sorry." Even if they do offer a discount next year, I wouldn't go back. One of the artists showed us some impressive work, but there's no reason to pay inflated Vegas prices for something your home artists can do for a third of the price. read more
