Clean, but we were seated and the server started serving other people coming in and there were only 5 tables of customers. Horrible service. Food was good for a small town diner. Then we asked, playfully if the she forgot about us and she said, " well I'm here now you're fine." Unfriendly. Telling me how I feel. Coffee was weak and burned, granted they were not busy. Chicken fajitas omelette it was good. Partner had California omelette, both were good for a small hometown cafe.

Classic diner ambiance that seems to be popular with the locals. The All American Breakfast we got was simple but a good way to get the day started. We also got a Pork Torta to-go, which turned out to be a great sandwich in all aspects!

Stopped in here after dropping off our granddaughter since we were late eating lunch. It's just a small-town diner but with friendly servers. I've heard it can be busy, but we got served on a Sunday around 1:00 without any wait. The food was good and served hot within the expected time. They have a big variety on their menu.

Awesome breakfast and reasonable . I ordered eggs and hash browns with English muffin and ate every morsel! Senior menu is super reasonable and the server was friendly and thorough. Coffee was good and hot ....would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

We don't get to Susanville very often but we enjoy coming to the Courthouse Cafe for breakfast when we have high school baseball games in town. The service is warm and welcoming. The women servers make you feel like family. Our breakfast is always tasty, coffee strong, and well priced. It's small and reminds me of an older Jack in the box location. Good local fun. We always have fun and look forward to returning. It's become our tradition.

Nothing special, I don't recommend. You're not missing out on anything by skipping this place. Friendly people, but food is bland and made with cheap ingredients. Greeting when we walked in was friendly and they quickly found some seats for us. Took our orders and we had to wait a long time for the food to come out. Some people that ordered after us got their food before us. Probably depends on what's ordered, but still upsetting to see when we had to wait so long. Oatmeal was dry and they were out of the nuts that comes with it. I was not warned of this when I ordered. Beef and Vegetable Soup was basic, made with carrots that come preshredded in the bag and gristly beef pieces. Jalapeño Bacon Benedict was served on cold biscuits instead of english muffins! That combination just didn't taste right. Restrooms were out of order, both men's and women's. Otherwise place seemed clean and orderly. To finish off the mediocre meal, we were presented with a miscalculated check! Take a close look at your bill if you decide to go against my advice and try to eat here. They also charge more for credit card. -.-

First they missed place my ticket. no big deal it happens. my food comes out and I ordered a burrito. It's soaking wet and falling apart.

Chicken, fajita omelette, and country fries.

Mediocre breakfast in a boring space. Nothing was terrible, but surely there are better breakfast places.

Copper Kettle Cafe was exactly the kind of stop we needed after a long day driving from the Sequoia…read morearea toward Lassen Volcanic National Park. At that point, hunger was making major life decisions for us, and this place definitely hit the spot. We ordered the Cobb salad, a cheeseburger, and a milkshake. Everything tasted good. Nothing dramatically life-changing or worthy of a dramatic food documentary narration, but solid, satisfying comfort food when you really need it. The milkshake was actually very good, and honestly part of the charm was watching the staff figure out the wonderfully ancient milkshake machine. It felt a little like witnessing a friendly negotiation between modern humans and a relic from a 1957 diner. Somehow, though, the machine delivered. It also seemed like there may have been new owners or at least people still settling into things. Communication was occasionally a little challenging, but everyone was trying, and the whole interaction ended up feeling more charming and humorous than frustrating. Overall, this is a simple roadside café that serves comforting food, good milkshakes, and a little small-town personality along the way. Sometimes, after hours on mountain roads, that is exactly what you need.

There was an older gentleman with glasses that wouldn't even seat my party of 6 because he was "waiting for bigger parties to arrive." There were maybe 2 other families seated and the rest of the place was empty with no reservations. He was just overall very short-tempered, rude, and shouldn't be hosting at all. When my family went here earlier this week without me, the same guy berated a kid in front of them for asking to take their glasses (he asked politely and still got yelled at in front of my family). My dad tried to stand up for the kid but the guy claimed that "he needs to learn his lesson." The guy also denied my little brother a chocolate milkshake because they were understaffed (again, there were only 3 parties seated out of the entire restaurant). They used to get lines out the door but now the place is so empty (for good reason). Please don't eat here and instead, support other restaurants that actually deserve service :(

She always made sure our coffee was filled and consistently checked on us. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and fries. It looked amazing! Fries were tasty, crispy and hot. The sandwich was fresh as well but honestly... not a ton of flavor. I had to add some hot sauce to it. I'm also not sure why it's labeled as also serving Mexican in the yelp description. The inly item I saw was huevos rancheros. Lastly, it's labeled here as the Mountain View cafe but on the building it has a large sign that says the Log Cabin... so don't let that confuse you! I really like the interior and the wood like, cozy small town feel! I grew up in a town like Portola and it definitely took me back. I might come back to try another dish as I do like supporting small businesses!

I can't tell you about the individual drinks, because I've tried each and every combination the guys behind the counter have to offer, or near enough. I can tell you that Jared, Garret, and everyone else in the family involved with Lofi are some of the best people you could ask for to provide the kind of neighborhood center a town still in the throes of reconstruction like Paradise desperately needs. When I mentioned that she had answered all my questions the week prior, nothing changed so I pointed out that it was much busier the week prior compared to me being there for the second time, she maintained her viewpoint. I understand she was filling in while her daughter was on maternity leave at that time but that's still not an excuse to treat customers poorly, especially around dietary needs. Because of that interaction, I won't be returning. No second chance from me. If you have dietary restrictions, I'd think twice.
