After staying here a second time I will remember to write a review. The first time my wife and I stayed here it was 2021 and we had absolutely no complaints and enjoyed ourselves. That time due to everything going on in the world with minimal travel we enjoyed a cheap rate for an entire weekend with probably the best view offered for the hotel of TD Garden as well as the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge. Which I know it's just a bridge but it was a nice sight for an in-city view. This most recent stay was due to a concert at TD Garden my wife and I were in town for. Which I will say if you are looking for a place to stay for an event at TD Garden, good luck finding a better option than here! Check in staff and valet workers were friendly and greeted us with a smile. Rates were very reasonable for end of summer and with a concert so close. Room was smaller this stay around and our view was more of just a building with a small glance of TD Garden if you looked to the side. Overall a very clean room and still a good amount of space. Can not think of any complaints for our stay and would stay here again. They offer valet parking and anytime we needed the car it was quick to get it back. Inside the lobby/first floor they have plenty of seating and what they dub "The Bistro" that offers breakfast, dinner, and full bar and I believe Starbucks drinks too. Location wise it is quite ideal, obviously if your activities/work is in this area of Boston. Besides TD Garden it is also close to North station along with plenty of food and drink options. Personally for a morning coffee or matcha I say check out Blank Street Coffee, then food wise I would say take a quick walk to the North End or closer try Tavern In The Square. Our overnight stay was great! Staff - warm and welcoming and very helpful. Accommodations - clean room, comfortable bedding, temperature was easy to adjust, not frustrating at all. Great storage, mini fridge, desk, couch and gym. My nephew was disappointed there wasn't a pool LOL. Onsite food and beverage options. Nice large lobby area that can accommodate parties of about 6-8 very comfortably. Location - very convenient to public transportation - Amtrak, T Station, Restaurants, TD Garden, CVS all within a very easy walk. Rate was decent, especially in the summer - Less than $200 for a King Bed room. We checked in early and one of our rooms was actually ready before 4pm. We took that one - Mobile key! Yay! and dropped our stuff and headed to the T to go to the aquarium. We had to check out by noon the next day, but wanted to enjoy more activities before our afternoon train and were delighted to find they have a secure luggage closest to hold your luggage! I believe it's 2 bags per room and then a fee for each additional bag. We were thrilled with our visit and look forward to visiting again. read more

I needed a place to stay for the night while in town and this place had one of the best rates. It was in a nice business park area and the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The staff was friendly and the rooms were quiet. Definitely a place I would stay again if in the area. read more

Started out disappointing. We arrived to park in the nearby garage and they are full. Very disappointing because now we have to find another place to park. Thank goodness there was another garage a block away, the close garage suggested. The room seems okay. I do like the spacious shower. They didn't dust, but the night table, but everything else seems clean. read more

I did enjoy my staying far as the bed being comfortable and I had a really nice view. The only downside is that you can definitely hear whatever is going on in the banquet hall, which is really annoying if you're not waking up early .... Like legit I heard everyone having breakfast and also the bathrooms for as the countertops and the area where the coffee is definitely needs to be retouched. It's looking very old and dated, but the location is perfect. read more

We stayed here last weekend and had an awesome experience! As soon as we checked in, we were greeted by Josh who was very friendly and fun to talk to. Their staff member Gwynn was also very friendly and helpful, especially when we requested new room keys twice in a 24 hour period. The location of the hotel was solid, right nearby a lot of restaurants. The hotel rooms were very comfortable too, especially the beds. The hotel gym was also pretty nice. My only suggestion would be for them to get a second hotel bench, as this way if someone is using the bench but another person also wants to use the weights, they would be able to do that. Prices were also a little high, but it's downtown Boston and the qualify of the hotel was great. We would stay here again! read more

First meeting was amazing! We were treated with elegance and respect! Our host even offered a complimentary upgrade and fun advice for activities in town! Sadly, later that night it was totally different experience. I returned after some drinks and was nearly tossed back out onto the curb by Zahed before I showed him my hotel key! He was a total prick and clearly discriminating! He wouldn't even give me his name, I had to ask it from a colleague... I have no idea how this person is in a customer service position. I had a beautiful experience with the daytime employees, but Zahed ruined it for me! read more

We LOVED our stay! My group of 5 stayed in a double queen room for 3 nights. It is super close to the airport, only an 8 minute uber ride. It was a really comfortable stay, the rooms are very clean and modern, and staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The double queen room is very spacious and we had an AMAZING view of the bridge and TD Garden. It's also very walkable to North End so yummy italian food and cannolis were always close. There are a couple of coffee shops a short walk away too. It's also a 10 minute walk to Union Oyster House and Faneuil Hall. There are a few T stations super close as well so it's really easy to go from place to place! A perfect location in the heart of Boston! read more

SUPER CONVENIENT AND CLEAN! This might be the first hotel I've ever stayed at where I opened the door and actually smelt a clean smell! Our stay was great- relatively quiet hotel that was really well kept. Location I was amazing for us as I was playing tour guide on our Boston portion of our trip. Quick walk to historical sites and north end and Charlestown. North Station T stop pretty much across the street and TD Garden right across the other street. I decided to pick this Courtyard By Marriot and it is a very clean, modern hotel. The front desk was a little on the small side and when I did check in there was also a swarm of other people coming in as well to check-in. After we for the room key we went straight up to the hotel room and it was pretty nice. I liked the furniture that they had and it looks simple but also pleasant. There is also a coffee maker inside a cabinet and a mini-fridge, plus a safe to put important items in. The hotel also has some pretty nice black-out curtains which can make anyone sleep and be comfortable! The location of this hotel is close to everything and you can walk and feel safe around the entire neighborhood. I would recommend this place and even come back to the same hotel to enjoy Boston again! People are friendly and honestly, I felt like this hotel is one of the best that I have stayed at during my trips during this Covid time. read more

Good location, nice room (quiet) & excellent bed - but front desk service was not up to the standards of other Courtyard Marriotts in which we've stayed. No one was at the desk when we arrived at 5 pm on a Thursday night. Valet had to go search for someone. Ok, we'll wait. But did the man at the front desk have to yell at us so rudely when we asked on Friday morning if coffee was still available? "Where can we get coffee?" Not looking up from his computer - "Out." Booked two rooms for an event because it was so nice and close. After driving several hours we arrived to find out out we couldn't park at the hotel. There was an event and the valet suggested we drive another .5m and walk back. Terrible. Asked the hotel manager who was less than helpful and not sympathetic. Awful way to treat your customers. My husband is an Ambassador level at Marriott and he was so upset. Ironically the valet guys parked 4 more cars after we left. read more

All employees were super friendly and so helpful. I mean SUPER friendly and genuinely kind to people coming through the doors Also the fire alarm system works like a charm. Alarm went off Sunday morning ( about 3am) with a voice booming into our room telling us to wait to see if we need to evacuate our room. Then the voice boomed in telling us we didn't need to. Or something to that effect, it was the wee hours of the morning Then low and behold the alarm went off again for three bells early morning Monday (4am). Couldn't believe it happened again. Thought to myself the night manager is probably frantically turning it off. These things happen make for an interesting night. The room was super clean. The common areas were also maintained in a very fastidious manner I would highly recommend staying here Close to a Mike's Pastry. After eating a lot of different cannoli this trip. I am a Mikes fan. I'm so surprised I never wrote a review for our stay at this Courtyard, especially since it was our first Courtyard. To start off with, it's in a difficult to navigate area and we were visiting on Halloween, so the streets were busy. It also did not have a lot of good food options in the area (although the meat pies at CuppaCoffee nearby were delicious). That being said, we slept well, the room was clean, and while they didn't have breakfast per se, they did have fresh fruit, coffee and snacks downstairs which we used our food credit for. It was costly to park, but I liked they we could text the number we were given and the car would be brought down without us having to wait. All in all, although we were nervous about deviating from the Marriott brand it was an all around pretty good stay. read more

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel in Boston. I spent two nights here before leaving on a two day road trip and then one more night before I flew out of Boston. The hotel was centrally located and easily walkable (less than a 20 minute walk) to Boston Common, Public Garden, Faneuil Hall, North End and the waterfront. It was just a short uber to the airport too. We got a room with two queens and it was plenty spacious for us four girls to share. The only downside was that the vanity was in the bathroom, which made getting ready in the morning a bit more difficult but there was a mirror on the closet door that gave us an alternative while everyone showered. I don't usually shell out for hotels as budget-insensitive as this, but I had Marriott Bonvoy points to spend and I needed somewhere to crash during a 24-hour layover on my way home from a weeklong vacation. When I stumbled in here exhausted from an uncomfortable flight and stinging from cruel winter winds, the cleanliness and comfort I experienced here made for an absolute paradise. Sophie at the front desk was extremely helpful, getting me situated and informed very quickly. My room wound up being upgraded to something that was larger than I needed, but it was so clean and impressive that it made me very happy. Bed very comfortable. Furnishings modern and pleasing. I had to check out by noon, but my flight wasn't until the evening. Sophie happily provided storage for my luggage so that I could kill that time exploring the city on foot. Except that when the dagger-like gusts coming in off the harbor were too much for me, I was able to take advantage of the adorable hot cocoa station they had set up in the lobby. I didn't take advantage of their restaurant/cafe, but it seemed like people were enjoying hanging out there, for what it's worth. I must say, my brief stay here really hit the spot, and I would be delighted if I had the opportunity to stay here again. read more

I don't know how new it is, but this property seems very new and is one of the nicest Courtyard Marriotts I've stayed at. The location is great, not just because it's really close to the TD Garden (it's just a couple minute walk from the TD Garden). The hotel is adjacent to the North End with its tons of Italian restaurants and a relatively short walk to other neighborhoods and sites like Faneuil Hall and the wharf. The rooms are relatively spacious for a hotel in the city. A couple of negatives on the room include the loud water pipes - periodically, the water needs to heat up and it sounds like loud banging. And even though the hotel is relatively new, there are some small broken fixtures here and there. The lobby (and the connected sitting area) is large and comfortable so there's plenty of space for working, eating or hanging out. The bar/restaurant is open for breakfast and happy hour/dinner, though it's a little pricey. For Marriott elite members, we got food and beverage credit during our stay. I'm not sure why this is always a nightmare to process but despite us opting for the food and beverage credit when we checked in, it wasn't noted in our file so we end up having a back and forth with both the staff at the lobby Bistro and the check in staff....and again at checkout. read more

Mobile check in worked but access to the elevator using my phone didn't. In the end I had to check in behind a big crowd. Really enjoyed my stay here. We were here for 2 nights and 3 days. The front desk staff was very friendly upon arrival and throughout the stay. It was a good price too, in an amazing location. Super close to the train station in the TD garden. Walking distance to Beacon Hill, the North End, the Wharfs, and many other great spots! Everything was super clean and the lobby was really nice. They have a bistro with Starbucks coffee and some food options. Lots of seating and places to work if needed. They of course will hold your bags if you arrive before check in or have time in the city after you check out. The AC worked great. There was a mini fridge in the room but no microwave. Only about a 15 minute drive to Boston Logan Airport! read more

Since my original plan for staying at the Marriott Long Wharf failed, I scrambled to find a relatively decent alternative without compromising too much. This hotel worked out well in that regard, even if it meant using almost all my Marriott Bonvoy points to do so. For my 4 night stay; I feel I got good value considering the location. It is literally across the street from the TD Garden (a huge plus for me as I was seeing a Celtics game one night). In addition, it is not terribly far from the North End, creating easy access to lots of good restaurants. It is also close by Amtrak's Boston North Station, connecting people to the Berkshires and points north and west, as well as the Orange and Green Lines on the T. The hotel was also rather clean and the staff friendly. For my first two nights they provided free hot apple cider for us to take (I totally took advantage of this). They also were great in seeing that I was a satisfied guest and treated me well considering the situation. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was pretty big. The rooms are also equipped with smart TVs so you can watch your favorite shows through Netflix if you like. If I had one thing to nitpick, it would be that my room was very stuffy. The heating and cooling elements did not work very well, and I barely felt anything coming out of it. Thankfully the weather was mostly good for most of my stay, but it would have helped to have better insulation. The bedding was also too tightly bound to the bed, making it somewhat hard to sleep at night. Other than that, I would recommend staying here and would definitely come back here for another stay myself. read more

What if you checked into your room and there was blood on the towels? Would you stay there? Let's say the front desk supervisor wouldn't give you another room and you called the Marriott hotline and they said that they should take your reservation to another hotel. They then did that for you and general manager said that there was no blood. Then when you sent photos, she said that you stayed in the room. But you have receipts from Uber and another hotel. She still won't refund your money and her recourse for a disgusting room was to change the towels. Run. read more

Front desk staff was great, but room wasn't very clean. There was a piece of chocolate on the floor. The corners of the bathroom were dirty. The coffee packets were open. I asked for a late checkout, which was very nicely approved and accommodated. I was in my room, in the middle of a webinar, speaking, when housekeeping began repeatedly pounding on the door, "Housekeeping!!!" I had the DND sign on the outside knob. The female housekeeper actually opened the door. I'm glad I had the extra security lock engaged on the top. Glad I wasn't in the shower! I told the front desk. They stated that housekeeping was notified, and they were very apologetic. They don't have a free breakfast here, which may be important to some people, but there is an onsite food vendor. read more

This hotel stay was a great success on a girls trip to Boston to see Lady Gaga! The room itself was clean and updated, the housekeeping environmental staff did a phenomenal job with making our beds nice and cozy plus fresh towels updated each day. The hotel itself is a short walk to the T/orange/green line, maybe 10 minutes to the shuttle service to take you to Salem or other nearby towns (check the MBTA or Google maps for public transit route ideas). On the evening we flew-in, we walked over to the North Side for dinner (loads of restaurants, bakeries, cafes), Paul Revere's House, and strolled over to Faneuil Hall. Nice way to start the trip by crossing off some historical sites and comparing Mikes vs Modern Pastry cannolis haha The hotel being next to the subway really made commute a breeze to other parts of the city. The hotel offers laundry rooms, pool, and fitness center. The lobby is spacious and I truly appreciated the fruit-infused water each day. One of my best hotel experiences ever, many thanks to the Front Desk Associate, Ms. Chante. She extended every hat she wore to ensure my family & I had a five star stay, which started from the moment we walked in to when we checked out. Her cheerful persona kept us all in the lobby well after we checked in. The hotel exudes modern posh & sophistication from the lobby, Bistro & throughout the communal parts of the hotel, high five to interior team. The 14-story hotel has over 200 rooms, I was able to view the Penthouse & two other suites, as the rooms offers superb plushness throughout. Spacious tidiness is an understatement & the mattresses provided not just the mere comfort, yet a deep restorative sleep...my back was extremely grateful. Within the lobby area, 'The Bistro' offers Breakfast, Dinner & Late Night fare with table seating & a full bar, various sitting areas to lounge in, & huge flat screen TV's throughout. I received more act of kind accommodations from the Bar Associate (Tony?), who bestowed upon me wine glasses that he would not allow me to return & even opened up my wine bottles for me. From our room, we had amazing views of the TD Garden Arena along with Boston's financial center. Located in the center of the North Station area, the hotel is not far from Boston Logan airport & close to all the public transpiration hubs & major highways. Do not be fooled by the location, as the room rates were very practical. Day #9 on our Drive Across America is a day trip to the Massachusetts coast to complete our coast to coast drive. We stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. This is the best Marriott in North Boston for the following reasons: Location: 10 minute walk to the North End (the best district in Boston), 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the shopping area, 15 minute walk to the start of the Freedom Trail. It's also in a very safe neighborhood. Rooms: this is a clean, new modern hotel with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Some of the rooms have spectacular views of Boston. The Staff: they have the the nicest staff of any Courtyard Marriott I have stayed at. For the most part they are young adults which pairs well with the modern decor. They upgraded me to a penthouse suite for being an Elite Marriott member. Wow, that's never happened before. Value: it's pretty reasonably priced for a Boston hotel in the North End. This is now our "go to" hotel in Boston. As other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are on the small side, it doesn't include breakfast and it is not dog friendly but other than that, it's awesome. This is a great property. It was a 2 minute walk to TD Garden for the Celtics game...maybe only a minute and a half. It's one of the nicest Courtyards I've stayed in and I spend lots of time on the road in hotels. I'm pretty particular and this is a place I will definitely stay in again. The lobby is fun and spacious and after a Celtics game it's a fun place to meet up with friends. The rooms are modern and clean and in great condition. I have a view of the bridge and it's mesmerizing to watch the traffic coast over the bridge. If you like action - this view is a vibe. Stayed here for a 1-night business trip. The hotel itself was fantastic- great location, in close walking distance to the public market, tons of Italian restaurants, breweries, and grocery stores. My room was very large and very comfortable and clean. I did have some trouble getting a lyft from this location- could have just been the day I was visiting and how busy the city was. Overall, wonderful stay and will consider staying here again on my next trip to Boston! read more

If every Marriott were like this Courtyard property, I wouldn't be second guessing my Titanium Elite status and wishing I was with another brand. Honestly, this is one of the best Marriott properties that I've stayed in...perhaps in years. Parking is taken care of by concierge and it's $53/day. Sounds steep, but it's Boston. Go to NYC and it's $80/day. Check-in staff was fabulous and our room was awesome. Best views of the bridge and TD Center! Other staff that we encountered were also great. Room was clean and modern. There's a safe and small fridge (that works!). Plenty of places to plug in devices (both regular outlets and USB). Bed was comfortable. This was a corner room, so it was wonderfully spacious. The only issue we ran into was that the switches for electrical stuff were a bit odd. Not sure if it was by design, but it was almost as if stuff wasn't wired correctly. Also, the shower (stand up only - no tub) handle for the water temperature was backwards (to me, anyway...hot was cold...cold was hot...). No biggie. The lobby and lounge areas downstairs are really nice, too. Found out that this property opened a year and a half ago. Fantastic location right across from TD Center, across from the T, and a short walk to the North End. I'd absolutely stay here again. read more

This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are going to an event at TD Garden as it is literally right across the street. We arrived fairly early in the day and were allowed to check in right away. The staff that greeted us was super nice and helpful. Our room was smallish in size but sufficient for a short stay. We just wanted to have a clean, safe, nearby place to stay after seeing a concert so this was absolutely perfect for that. There were plenty of bars and eateries within walking distance. A package store to grab some drinks to pregame, a CVS to pick up snacks or any toiletries you might have forgotten, and a Dunkin' for coffee in the morning are all within the same block which is super convenient. We were able to walk to Newbury St, Quincy Market & Boston Commons from there. All in all a decent place to stay in Boston. read more
