Staying here over the weekend, and the staff are amazing! We lived in San Jose, but just wanted to get away with a hotel with a swimming pool for the kids, and this place is perfect. Our kids were hungry at 4:30pm, and the bistro didn't open until 5pm, but the staff went out of the way to serve us with whatever we need. Place is clean, and staff told us that they had 3 weddings over this weekend and wanted to make sure our rooms where the kids slept wasn't too noisy. We felt the service was still top notch. Breakfast was also great and we truly felt taken care of. Highly recommended, and don't know anywhere else you can get a nice indoor pool to go along with it. Thanks Courtyard Livermore! read more

Another amazing review for this wonderful hotel!! I had a wedding block here (which was postponed 3x thanks to COVID). Nicole G. was FABULOUS to work with throughout the past year and a half of postponing! Which I was even more surprised because the hotel had 3 other weddings the same night as ours! Nicole was super on top of it all given this! We were given a Honeymoon suite with a bottle of champagne and 2 tickets for breakfast since our block booked a certain number of rooms. They also offer a super affordable shuttle service if your block books a certain number of rooms - we opted out for the precautionary of covid. They kept the (FULL) bar open until 1230am and we had pizza delivered for our after party. The rooms were nicely designed and the beds were comfy. The hotel staff was very sweet and patient with our kind of rowdy guests when we all got back from the wedding. Only downside is their beautiful courtyard with a big fire pit closes at 8pm - which is understandable since its surrounded by guest rooms. Very nicely appointed rooms. Wifi eats sh*t though, I guess that's what you get for free. Wifi in the lobby was decent and they do have a little business computer if you really need speed. Close to lots of shopping and restuarants. Much nicer location than the Residence Inn, Livermore though you don't get the free breakfast and coffee. The bed was OK, but the pillows were not that great. For the price paid (less than $100), this was a great option. read more

My kids and I decided to do a last minute Outlet shopping trip, so we booked at this Hotel. The price was right and the "extras" made in extra special (we got a $25 gift card for the outlets, discount booklet and 2 free breakfasts). The staff was very friendly at all times. The rooms were large, clean and had super comfy beds. The breakfast is your typical buffet (nothing special, but kids loved it - also has the made to order egg station which I chose & liked). Staff for the breakfast crew were AMAZINGLY nice/helpful. My kids overslept so we ran down 10 minutes before the service was supposed to end. The woman was very kind and let us stay and eat our meal in peace (not trying to rush us out) and served us our coffee and water. The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained and warm. We'll go back for sure if we are ever in Livermore. read more

Stayed here for a night for our friend's bday events which consisted of a lot of drinking! Since it was the weekend we didn't have problems with the construction. My husband and I spent two nights here in May, and had a pleasant experience. We order a suite that was very roomy, on the night of our wedding they even had champagne set up for us with a box of chocolates. For a quick stay the Courtyard fulfilled their duties. Was it romantic or cushy no but then what do you expect. Only complaints was that one of our windows faced a wall, and yes the breakfast was expensive for what it was. I didn't think I would be writing a review for our wedding night hotel, but here we are! The Courtyard Marriott was the hotel we chose for our wedding block. I am so glad we did because, wow, the service we received was so amazing. Nicole Goodrich helped me from the start, and boy was she helpful. She answered many questions I had, and was so patient with me, including during the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. This place was close to everything, food , shopping, golf course, and more. We went to a wedding and decided to book a hotel here. This place looks great inside and out. The only thing I felt is the bed was a full. I always thought every where it should be two queens. The bed was to small and not that comfortable. Also, they had breakfast, but its not free. The only thing that was great is they have free water right in front of the lobby. read more

We just had a group that stayed at the courtyard this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Debbie in group sales did a wonderful job of getting our group set up. All of the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a relaxing evening out in the patio by the firepit. I saw a few of the past reviews with lower ratings For the staff And most definitely don't agree with any of them. The location here was very convenient right off the freeway But no highway noise. We had a very colichy baby that was NOT having a good day, not the hotels fault of course. When we arrived, my older daughter was feeling car sick and had to make a b-line to the nearest restroom. When we checked into the hotel, we were not greeted with a warm welcome. Granted, we had a screaming infant and a car sick toddler, but I still would have appreciated a warm hello. Both of our kids had thrown up and we had to use all of the towels to clean up the mess. I called down to the front office multiple times to have more towels brought up and there was no answer. My husband had to go down and ask for them himself. It took my husband and myself forever to get our infant to finally fall asleep around 4am only to have our entire family awoken at 7:30am by the sound a loud drill in the room directly above us. I called the front desk and asked if there was any way they could just give my family one more hour of sleep, we truly had the day and night from hell, her response was the hotel is under renovation. There's really nothing we can do. Hangs up. If you are going to have workers drilling in rooms, it would be great to not put anyone in the room below it, especially a visibly distraught family with two very unhappy kids under the age of 4. We spent 150$ for one night there, i expected better service. read more

We got married at the Palm Event Center in March and we set up a room block at the Courtyard Marriott. I couldn't have been happier with the staff, the accommodations, and the services provided. The discounted rate was great and affordable and they provided transportation for the hotel guests to and from the wedding venue at no charge to us! Nicole, the Event Coordinator at the hotel, was by far the favorite person that I worked with during the wedding planning process - including all of the other vendors we hired. She was extremely professional and friendly. She responded very promptly to all emails or calls, and she made sure they everything ran smoothly. Nicole, and the rest of the staff at the Courtyard Marriott, made our stay and our wedding experience wonderful. read more

We stayed at this hotel for my daughter's wedding held at a nearby winery. It was a fantastic experience. I first made all the arrangements of blocking rooms for the days we wanted with Nicole the Events Coordinator and she was professional but so friendly that it was as if I knew her. She made all the arrangements from the bridal suite to all the rooms that we needed. Everything went perfectly. The hotel is clean, all the personnel are friendly and courteous. They have great shuttle service to and from the winery weddings. Also they have a great bar (and nice bartenders). The whole experience was so perfect as was my daughter's wedding. So if you are in that vicinity and need a hotel, by all means book it up......I may be just stop by for a drink LOL!!!! read more

Great experience that didn't break the bank and was a perfect pairing with my wedding venue. We stayed here in one of the large suites for a couple of nights prior to the wedding and then on the wedding night itself. Since our wedding venue was just down the road in Pleasanton/Livermore we felt this would be one of the most convenient options---it was. It also turned out to be reasonably economical at about $99/night. We took advantage of the shuttle to/fro the wedding (because we had a large enough wedding block) and that worked out great. OK, now the details: - We got the large suite. It has a large ante room, plenty of big mirrors, good light, and space. There was also a hook near the ceiling for wedding dresses---I unfortunately didn't see that until later. The bedroom itself was average size, but honestly we weren't in it much. - The hotel restaurant is average-looking but makes tasty breakfast food. - The hotel has a bar which is small but appears to probably be good for small parties. - There's a small hang-out space in front of a fireplace in the same room with some internet terminals. It's pretty reconfigurable. - There's a white gazebo outside which could be anything from a ceremony platform to just a hang-out spot. - The pool and workout room seem decent---didn't use them. - The shuttle ride to Pleasanton is only 10 mins. - The banquet room is right next to the restaurant and can be rented. Before the wedding the staff was generally responsive and worked well with us to arrange our block of rooms and reserve the banquet room for our use the morning after the wedding. The facility is clean, tidy, and generally basic. Our wedding suite's ante room was decently appointed with a couch, coffee table, chairs, etc. and served well as a hair/makeup prep area. The breakfast at the restaurant was really quite good when you take advantage of the made-to-order meals from the breakfast chef. The staff were able to bring up extra bar stool chairs for hair/makeup, no problem. The wedding shuttle service was prompt, professional, efficient---highly recommended. When we got back after the wedding we had a bottle of champagne and water waiting for us. We wanted to wind down after the wedding with a little afterparty and we gathered around the fireplace near the lobby. They gave no qualms about us rearrange furniture to sit in a large circle and to hang out for a while. Renting the banquet room for a morning-after brunch was a great thing: OJ on the tables, private coffee service off to one side, easy access to the restaurant. Times visited: 1 read more

My husband and I got married at the Palm Event Center in September, and the Courtyard Marriott was one of their hotel recommendations. My husband and I, along with our wedding guests stayed here for the weekend. We worked with Nicole--who was such a pleasure to work with! She set up a discounted group rate for the rooms, and she even extended the deadline date to reserve rooms to make sure our guests had enough time to use the discounted rate! Because we had over 40 nights reserved, my husband and I had 2 nights free of charge!! We even had a bottle of champagne with a box of chocolates and a congratulations card in our room the night of our wedding! Also, Nicole was very helpful in setting up 2 shuttle vans for our guests to be transported to the Palm Event Center, and then back to the Marriott after the wedding reception ended. The rooms were also very clean and spacious, and some of our guests used the gym, took a swim in their indoor pool, and ate breakfast there the next day. My husband and I could not have been any happier with Nicole and the Marriott. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're getting married in the Livermore/Pleasanton area. read more

My wife and I reserved a block of rooms here when we got married in August. The room rate was a bit more than my friends' who booked at the Marriott in San Ramon for his wedding a few weeks before ours. Our guests had no issues reserving, and they said said the rooms were nice and clean with no weird smells. Checking in was hassle free as well... we had asked them to deliver our little gifts to each of our guests that was staying at the hotel. They were happy to oblige.... Here's why I think the room rate was a little bit more; shuttle service to our venue (Casa Real @ Ruby Hill Winery)! This definitely was a selling point for some of our guests since they didn't want the risk of a DUI. The only down side to this was the slow service. When guests were ready to go back to the hotel, they called 30 minutes prior, and some ended up waiting up to an hour! I found out there were 3 other wedding parties staying at the hotel, so they could've been providing shuttle service to the other parties as well. My wife and I did not stay here after the wedding, but we were told that our guests had a nice after party and no one complained about them being too noisy! I would've given this place 5 stars if the shuttle service was on point, but unfortunately, they were probably really backed up that night. read more

Nice hotel feel-greeted with cookies and tea/coffee /water. Worst thing EVER : they allow smoking on the balcony. Not very nice if your ventilation system allows the smoke to enter your room. I have a 3 month old in the room with me inhaling the smoke. I asked them to stop but they didn't. Smoke can kill babies!!! Hotel said they couldn't do anything about it. Horrible!!!! read more

Reserved a block of rooms here for a large event and Nicole and her staff were great. They were responsive, flexible, and helpful. They even threw in a few pleasant surprises, which we greatly appreciated. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a block of rooms reserved for a wedding or large meeting. The only criticism we have is that shuttle service was not available for our event due to the fact that there were several weddings on the weekend of our event. Some of our guests were told by the hotel staff that there would be shuttle service, which created some confusion. But luckily everything worked out. Nicole's responsiveness and help more than made up for this minor irritation. She is excellent to work with and very hospitable! read more

This place was excellent! Very clean, friendly staff, great lighting in the parking lot at night, and close to the main freeway. I had to stay here for 8 nights using my marriott points. I'm a local but had my kitchen remodeled so I was looking for a hotel to stay while the remodel was getting done. Since my home improvement project was big, the finish date from my contractor changed while I was staying the first 4 nights. I had to make a second reservations online while staying at the hotel but this time, only a two queen bed room was available for the next 4 nights. Instead of checking out by noon and checking in 4 hours later for the second reservation, I went to the front desk and asked Ricardo if he could help me stay in my current king bed room. He was more than accommodating and was able to help me out. I appreciate all his help and made it easy for me. Customer service at it's best!! Thank you Courtyard Livermore! read more

No negatives, do ask about sports teams being in the hotel as they do host them, the staff is attentive and friendly, lobby and rooms clean, no pets so hotel is very clean, rooms are very well appointed and comfortable, bathrooms are very clean, they have a coffee bar and wine tasting on Wednesday which is fun, the area is great for local wineries, parking convenient and free, lobby is very nice, so overall a better Courtyard and they actually don't have slamming doors as most Courtyards. read more

I worked with Nicole at the Courtyard Livermore Marriott to host around 80 guests for our wedding and they did a great job. Our guests were very happy with their stay. The rooms were clean and what you would expect of all other Marriotts and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Nicole was great in accommodating my and my guests' requests, including adjoining rooms and keeping families on the same floor to the extent possible. I did have to call to check on room bookings and whether our block was full, but Nicole was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. The hotel was conveniently located for me on a business trip to the area. The staff at the front desk and the bar were very friendly and accommodating. The lobby was newly remodeled and had the upgraded modern feel of many of the newer Courtyards. The room was what I would have expected. Flat screen TV and clean. I do have to say that once I left the lobby there was a smell that carried through the downstairs and upstairs hallway that was not great. It had a mildew smell. I think the carpets may be old or they need to be cleaned. read more

We stayed at the Courtyard during the 2014 Intermediate Little League World Series. We are the local District team, Canyon Creek Little League of San Ramon, CA. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent! The entire staff went out of their way to make the coaches and players feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, the hotel was flexible on room arrangements, and they were always friendly and helpful. Not impressed with the room. That being said, I got the last room they had for the night and I'm assuming that it was a room that hasn't been updated yet. A coworker stayed here a week after me and said his room was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly to me. Breakfast is not included with your stay, but that really does not bother me, usually hotel breakfast sucks anyway. The two star rating I gave is based on the room I had. read more

This is my second-favorite Livermore area hotel. No complaints other than it's just a bit outdated and there aren't refrigerators in the rooms. Walls are nice and thick (good for sleeping), beds are decently comfortable, and most rooms have balconies. Front desk staff is nice. Breakfast is not included, but whatever. We were able to get a quiet room and the facility had everything we needed until we could move back in to our house. The manager his name starts with a D was really rude d for you no what but how you gonna tell someone to have some one teach you how to apply a family discount, first of all those are not the choice of words when a customer is call in to find out how you have to go about it you should be more willing to help me yourself but the easy way for him to help was telling me to find someone else. My husband and I had our wedding at Casa Real Ruby Hill Winery at the end of June and we used the Courtyard by Marriott hotel for our guests to stay at after the reception!! Everyone at the hotel was exteremely nice and very accommendating to all our guests!! We had a issue with the limo company getting to the hotel to shuttle our guests to the reception site and the people at the hotel stepped right in and shuttled our guests to the reception!! At the end of the night they came back to the reception site and shuttled our guests back to the hotel! They were such a huge lifesaver! My interaction with them was great, whether I called or emailed! They responded in less than 24hrs to my emails! We dealt with Nicole Goodrich through this entire process and she was amazing!! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a hotel in that area! As well as using them again for our stay! read more
