We chose the Marriott because they offered the best rate near wine country. The hotel is only about a year old therefore it's very modern and clean. We stayed on the first floor which was recommended by the front desk clerk because of the high ceilings. The room was nice and had shower only. The amenities consisted of a in room refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer and options to watch Netflix and YouTube on tv which was great. The only issue I had was that the tv kept automatically muting every 10-15 mins which was extremely annoying. During the evening we went up to the rooftop where they had a full bar. The bartender was excellent whipping me up a tailor made drink. There was plenty of comfy seating with fire pits and the view was nice. Also, the hotel is located walking distance to plenty of fast food restaurants and gas stations which was convenient. All in all the hotel is nice and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the tv mishap which is easily fixable but was an inconvenience during our stay. I would definitely recommend. FYI- wine is about 10 miles down the 15 fwy. read more

Save your money the front desk reps are liars! We live in Menifee literally 10 mins away from here. We choose to stay here because my mother who just got out of surgery want a mini vacation so out of all the hotels, this was her pick because it was her dream to sit and relax at the bar on the rooftop. Called the day before I even made a reservation to confirm it'd be open, yes it would be. Today we go to check in and the rep let's us know it'll open in 10 minutes and will close at 9PM. So minutes pass by and we go to the roof, or try to, turns out it's closed! Because when we go back to the front desk they unform us someone called out and they're short staffed so there's not enough workers to man the bar. What was the point of even coming then!? We try to ask for a refund and the front desk refuses. There was literally no point of staying when there's Dowtown Temecula and Murrieta Downtown with better more fun hotels down the road. Waste of money and now my mama's heart is broken.... read more

Horrible stay, I have never been so disappointed by a Marriott. I've been a big fan of the brand until this weekend and I will never stay at another Marriott hotel again. The weekend started with minor inconveniences like the TV channel guide did not match the the shows that were actually playing and the volume was very erratic. As the night progressed we really started to consider sleeping in the car. The AC reeked like body odor, the pillows were flat and the beds were so stiff. All we wanted was a modest and comfortable stay on our road trip. The cot in the couch bed was more comfortable than their rigid queen beds. The AC was very finicky and we kept trying to adjust it from when we arrived at 5 until we finally gave up and went to bed at 11. It was so hot in the room and the AC kept turning off. At 5 am it woke all of us up because there was a pungent burning smell. We all managed to get about 4 hours of sleep before driving due to the smell, noise and horrible beds. We left feeling worse than we arrived. Even worse is we paid almost 200 for a hotel that normally has free breakfast included but now due to covid they wanted us to pay $4+ for just a small coffee. Save your money and go anywhere else! read more

This Hotel is really quite beautiful. The staff are super friendly and professional at the same time. The hotel is relatively new so everything is clean. Great pool and Jacuzzi, rooms clean, two tvs. Only issue i have is the mirror on closet door beside the bathroom, a few times i got confused and thought it was entrance almost walked into mirror. Booked this hotel for my wives 50th Birthday. Bought my whole family thinking this would be a great place to stay and visit the local wineries. Price is fair for 5 people, atmosphere is great. Now for the negative: room floor was some sort of linoleum very sticky. Had to call front desk twice to try and clean. Ok, never really corrected the problem. Plus, room had an odor, not sure of the source. Housekeeping never corrected this problem. Not the best experience, but we could live with it. Staff was great, however, it only takes one person to ruin your impression. When I went down to the Bistro on our 3rd day to get Coffee for my group, the attendant was counting the money at 6:30am and asked me to wait. Fair enough, but after 5 minutes I felt a bit put off and told her I changed my mind. At that point she than offered to get me a coffee while I waited. Sorry, too little too late. Should have made that offer sooner. Ruined my impression of the hotel. I'll book a stay at the Hilton next time. Always get great service there.... read more

I left my Tiffany necklace in the bathroom and didn't realize after I got home so I called to check to see if house keeping turned it in. Beautiful hotel but not a great experience. Front desk was not welcoming, there is no carpet in the rooms so it felt/ looked like a hospital room. Called the front desk to ask a question and no one answered. I walked to the front desk and the woman there was doing something on her cell phone. Around midnight the people next to us kept slamming their door and making so much noise we couldn't sleep. We called the front desk and again no one answered. We decided to just pack up and go home at 1Am, since no one was at the front desk at all. Won't be returning jere. Waste of $230 since we were only there a couple hours. And the credit card we were trying to use wouldn't swipe with their machine so we had to use a different one. They refused to key in the numbers or use chip. read more

Clean, modern, and excellent customer service!! We were even allowed to check in early. Not a single issue with our stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Prior reviews complained of noise levels but we had no issues at all. I have been staying at Marriott hotels and will continue to do so. read more

Excellent experience at this hotel. They did an excellent job at making this hotel very modern. The room was new and modern style. We really enjoyed the King bedroom. The only thing that wasn't the best design was that the room key was the switch to have the lights on. The key had to stay in the slot otherwise the lights do not work. May be "energy efficient" however is annoying that all the lights do not function without the key there. read more

Food is fairly decent, but the service is sub-par to say the least. They kept bringing out the wrong order and my Chai Tea was cold when it was brought out to me. If there were a word stronger than "incompetent," that would more accurately describe the young lady working the front counter. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We did not stay at the hotel; we just wanted to check out the roof top bar...and I am really glad that I did! This is a fantastic place to go for drinks. We were there just before sunset, and the view of this was beautiful! We sat in a place surrounding a fireplace. It was so comfortable, and felt very private. We can't wait to go back! I recommend this as a place to go for relaxing drinks!!! read more

Absolutely worst stay I have ever had in a Marriott. While I was gone from the hotel for a few hours maintenance had gone into my hotel room to fix the AC. Hours later I arrive back at the hotel to find that my hotel room had been left propped open from maintenance and there had been items taken from my room and my bag had been opened and gone through. The hotel wanted to resolve this issue with no empathy and offered free breakfast and $10 voucher for snacks. Have been going back and forth with the managers and now moving to corporate to find a better solution to my privacy be violated at my stay. I will never stay at a Marriott again read more

I stayed here with my family about a year ago and everything was decent until the last day when we were going to check out, and I could smell smoke coming from the hall. I left it alone for maybe 30 mins because it wasn't overwhelmingly strong but after awhile we decided to call down to the front and tell them about it.. We were in the hallway when the workers came by the room next door and opened the door and sure enough there was a shirt sitting on top of an alarm clock which was getting too hott and caused it to smoke, and the worker lady picks up the shirt and once oxygen got to it, it bursted into flames, so the lady dropped the shirt that was on fire on the ground and my brother and boyfriend stomped it out for a good 3 minutes making sure it was all the way out, ruining their shoes and pants in the process.. So after that nightmare was over we were ready to check out and not only did they not say thank you for saving our hotel from catching on fire they didn't give us any type of discount, and my brother even purchased a soda and they didn't offer to pay for it or anything.. Just thought it was a pretty low thing to do when we saved their hotel from being burned to the floor. Won't be staying here ever again at least. read more

Rooms are nice and clean. Prices are high and the front desk girls are very frustrating to deal with. I felt as if they were trying to hustle me. I was told they only had 1 king suite available when I called in to ask about availablity, I was quoted a price of $205. I decided to hang up and think about it. I called back less than 10 mins later and was told they only had 1 double queen standard room and was quoted $205. I explained to the girl I had just spoke with someone less than 10 mins ago who said they only had a king suite available. She gave me some story about people canceling and upgrading during those 10 mins. I asked her to please check with the women I spoke with during my first call, so she put me on hold for 10 mins and comes back on the line a d says yes I do have a king standard room available for you at $205. I explained to her I was told it was a suite and not a standard room. Her and I went round and round, she kept speaking over me and refused to let me speak to someone above her. She ended up hanging up on me. I had to call back, at this point I get ahold of the 1st girl I originally spoke to. She goes on to tell me how they keep rooms on reserve for emergencies and tried to say I misunderstood her because she never said it was a king suite, because they don't have a king suite available. This went on for quite sometime before she finally agreed to call her manager for a discount code to honor what she had originally quoted me. Another 15 mins goes by, she comes back on the line and said she was about to get the access code and honor a king suite at $205. What a nightmare! All of this to rent a room for 15 hours! I will never stay at another Marriott hotel again! My suggestion is to have a manager on duty at all times and stop trying to hustle your guest, be honest and do what you say you are going to do! read more

Stayed one night on Saturday so that we didn't have to drive home after an event at Pechanga which unfortunately did not have any rooms available. The overall hotel is clean but I'm convinced that they do not clean The floors in the guest rooms as after walking around without shoes our socks turned black within 5 min. They had two elevators by only one worked. Only one ice machine on floor one worked. But these issues are not as problematic as the noise. I know that this hotel is located in Southern California and in Murrieta/Temecula where it is hot most of the year but they should have put in more insulation when building this hotel. The floors are not carpeted which is great but you can hear the people above walking around or what sounded like exercising. At first we thought that it may be younger children being children but after 2.5 of the noise we finally called the front desk around midnight. But it didn't get better only worse. The noise didn't start up again until the next morning around 8:30 which is probably when they woke up. We joked about the ear plugs (only one pair) but now I think they know this is an issue. I would not recommend this place unless you are a deep sleeper. read more

t was my wedding day and the staff was extremely rude to us and our bridal party and made it extremely stressful with their attitudes and rudeness which made cry on my wedding day! I have never experienced something like this before and did exchange words with the manager especially after listening to two of the girls who were talking badly about my bridal party downstairs. They did not bring blankets when asked but they brought sheets with attitudes. My 65 year old mother staying in the next room asked for a comforter as well because after 11 surgeries being cold hurts her rods .... no blanket was delivered to her either! They also did not bring my guests who were staying in other rooms blankets when they were asked... On my actual wedding day they were trying to get us out of the suite with housekeeping at 10:45 am when we had late checkout at 2 and told us we weren't gold members. I went to this hotel three weeks prior when booking my room to make sure late check out wouldn't be an issue since I was getting my hair and make up done and coral said there would not be an issue what so ever but come the day of... we were nothing to them even with the wedding marked on my booking! I even had to book another room to transfer to since the suites were sold out but they told my bridal party that I didn't want to pay to stay in there which was a complete lie! For thirty more dollar I would have loved the convienvws... My feet were completely black after being in the room for five minutes and the refrigerator had food in it and the rooms smelled. I also noticed I have been charged more then I was told and have already called corporate and opened a case. My husband and I are are completely dissatisfied and can't believe other humans would treat others this way especially on their big day.. I would never stay here again based on the attitudes of the staff alone. The manager wrote me and said she will better train her staff.... better training your staff won't fix the day your staff presented. Disgusted. read more
