The overall experience was enjoyable with a lively atmosphere and flavorful food that stood out. The setting itself is beautiful offering great views that enhance the dining experience. The food was well prepared full of flavor and clearly one of the highlights of the visit. Drinks were also well-made and added to the overall appeal. That said the service could have been more attentive. Upon arrival it would have been appreciated if drinks were offered sooner as it took some time before we were checked on. Improving attentiveness would elevate the experience significantly. The venue has a high-energy environment making it an excellent choice for birthdays, celebrations or a night out with friends. There's music, a vibrant crowd and an overall exciting vibe that makes it stand out. Outside there's also a food truck serving tacos which adds to the atmosphere and even fills the area with a great aroma. A couple of things to note prices are not listed directly on the menu and require scanning a QR code and gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Parking can also be challenging during busy times. Overall despite a few service drawbacks, the great food, drinks and energetic atmosphere make this a place worth visiting again. We went with some friends on a Sunday to grab a late lunch and arrived to find out that they only had the buffet available and at a higher price than I kept seeing online. Sadly that isn't what I wanted but since we were there with a group we stayed for the buffet. They sat us down and they cram people in to the place. Like chairs touching chairs. It was a little annoying, I also wasn't a fan that nothing was labeled. I wish the meats said what they were. There were ton of them but no idea what was what or how spicy something was until you put some on your plate and try it. I also expect fresh tortillas and salsas. But there were none of those either. Mr. Patron delivers if you are looking for a festive, fun, crazy atmosphere! Watching the Copa Mundial there was a blast. So loud! So many cheering fans! So much other stuff going on and many, many TVs including a huge 4k in the main room. Waiters buzzed through the crowd, hustling hard to schlep drinks and buckets of Dos Equis. The food was limited because of the World Cup crowd so I had chicken tacos and a cantarito. The tacos were not very good. The meat tasted kind of pre-cooked and old, disguised in onions and a hot jalapeño verde sauce. The fries a friend ordered looked good. The sopapillas were good. I would only drink if I were to go back. If the World Cup wasn't enough, in walked a band! We left before they played, but the tuba and drums signaled how serious it is! Overall, it was an okay experience at Mr. Patron. The drinks were really good and the oysters were fresh, which we enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive, but the wait felt a little off today. Not quite what I was expecting, they have several TV's up and the bronco game was on. The big tv, and I mean big is the size of the wall. Not a lot on the menu, but the food was good. My friend's only complaint is that the skin was still on his shrimp, and was really messy trying to peel it off. The waiter was very friendly, but we had a hard time trying to get his attention for the check. The thing that was the biggest let down is that the parking is extremely tight, there is only 1 handicap spot and there was a motorcycle parked in it. Makes me wonder if it belong to an employee, as we were there well over a hour, and that bike was there when we arrived and was still there when we left. That is the main reason for the poor rating. Nestled on a corner, this restaurant is a must try! From the fun vibe, to the great service, to the delicious food, we had a great experience. We ordered guacamole as an app, that was made freshly in front of us. For drinks we ordered a strawberry and a mango margarita. Came here for brunch and the food was good, until half way into our food we saw mice near our table and around the stage, this made us loose our appetite. When talking to our server about it he didn't care, he mentioned he would get a manager & never came back. This is upsetting as we paid over $130 for 2 adults & 2 kids. Will never be back. read more

A few things to note, parking is rough, be prepared to walk a little. It's packed, tables crammed in every inch. The music can be loud for some people, but the vibe overall, was chefs kiss. Stopped in early in the day and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the food quality made up for it. I'm originally from California, and this is the closest we've gotten to real, flavorful Mexican food in Denver- honestly, in all of Colorado. I went here for the first time after seeing so many TikToks making this place look like the best Mexican buffet ever, so I decided to try it out and brought someone with me. Biggest mistake. Right away they make you pay before you even sit down, and for just two people the total was $78, which is already ridiculous for a buffet. For that price, you expect a lot of options... but the food selection was actually very small. Don't get me wrong, the food tastes good, but not nearly good enough to justify the price they're charging. It felt like you're paying luxury buffet prices for a handful of dishes. I kept thinking maybe there was more coming out, but nope, what you see is what you get. What really made the whole experience terrible was the way they rushed us out. While we were still eating, someone came up to us asking if we knew there was a one-hour time limit. Nobody told us that when we paid, and there was no clear warning before sitting down. Then a little later they came back and told us our time was up and we had to leave. We basically paid almost $100 just to feel rushed and kicked out. Honestly, that completely ruined it for me. All the hype online made it seem like this place was amazing, but in reality it felt more like a cash grab. Limited food, high price, and a time limit they don't clearly tell you about until you're already there. I had a really good impression before coming, but after this experience I feel like I got played. The food might be decent, but the overall experience is not worth the money at all. Absolutely a terrible experience. I did not even get to eat. I didn't even speak to a waiter. We were sat at our table and waited 20 minutes with 0 acknowledgement or " I'll be with you ". The table right next to us had several interactions with a waiter in the time we just sat and looked around. Overpriced and terrible manager. Went here after seeing a few tiktoks about the parrillada and got super excited to bring my friends. The parrillada, mind you, is supposed to be for up to 4 people. We got HALF of what was supposed to be on the parrillada, which is not worth even close to $120. All the waiters were very nice, tried to help as much as they could, but the manager was just awful!!. She told us twice she would comp us for what we didn't get on the parrillada just to come back out with the food that we were missing, AFTER our table had already been cleared. Refused to help us any further and basically told us she was done helping and anything else we needed would have to go through our waitress. Don't waste your time here.
