The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because I'd never been before, they explained that we ordered at the top of the stairs and they would deliver our food to a table after we sat down at one. The staff at Millwright's is great, so it isn't surprising that they were here too! The space itself is casual. I came on a weekday evening and there were several empty tables remaining, and the weather outside was perfect. From the pictures, you can tell that they are creating a tiki atmosphere, which was perfect for the space. I could imagine that on a rainy or humid day though, it might be a little less than pleasant to eat outside. The food really earned this place such a great review. I've been to a handful of restaurants recently locally where I had high expectations, and I was disappointed. That was not the case here! The drinks were great (we had El Guapos), and all of the food was delicious. My favorite items were the mushroom 'chorizo' nachos and the Baja fish taco. The 'chorizo' didn't taste much like true chorizo and wasn't spicy, but I didn't care because it was still delicious! The corn chips seemed fresh and all the flavors worked well together. I would recommend to anyone local to try this place this summer. It has amazing food and a great, casual atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning here before the summer is over!

I didn't really know what to expect before going and this place was on my "to check out" list. I was pleasantly surprised. I was happy they were kid friendly because we brought our two little ones. I saw some people eating pretzels and we got some delicious buttered popcorn to snack on. The kitchen offers wings, chips/salsas, lobster rolls, bratwurst/kielbasa, burgers, etc. They have food trucks onsite, but when we were there (early afternoon) I didn't see one yet. I can't wait to go back during the summer/fall because their yard looked fantastic. They had a small stage, picnic tables, and fire pits. I might understand its because we are in a fan zone and the number of people is overwhelming but I believe an extra person or 2 should have been added to avoid such issue. The party was held outdoors in their pretty yard under a tent. Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!
