Which is a cold Italian grinder…read more Using the easy to order on app, I placed my order for the regular size Italian grinder, on the fresh Italian bread with provolone cheese, adding Mike's way, hot sauce, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers, and mayonnaise By the time I got to the store, the sandwich was waiting for me. Between ordering and pick up time was less than 15 minutes! And this was during a busy lunch schedule! Props to Jersey Mike's staff. The bread was super soft, and the freshness was apparent throughout every bite. I loved the provolone cheese. It had that pop! The fresh cold cuts were generously placed on the sandwich and I could taste each and every one of them, with the spicy ham coming through Having it with lettuce, tomato oil and vinegar, hot pepper sauce, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers, mayonnaise, made this sandwich a true winner. I enjoyed every bite of this delicious sub! The vanilla soda was the perfect beverage for this lunch. This store is busy during lunch, no doubt. It's busy because the sandwiches are delicious l, reasonably priced, made quickly, and correctly. Parking is a breeze out front and on the side of the building. There is limited seating, but seems to be always available when needed. The staff were smiling and polite, I was even greeted nicely by the young gentleman doing the garbage detail. That was a nice touch. Jersey Mike's, you are a sub above! Thanks again for giving me a wonderful visit

A staple in the Simsbury community for many many years, I think over 60!…read more My friend made the journey up from Farmington and met me for dinner here, and it was a wonderful experience From the moment we walked in, we were greeted friendly and seated Our friendly server came over and took our order for drinks. We both ordered pink lemonades. I was craving a burger so I had a 1/3 pound burger and then included a sauce and toppings from like a McDonald's Big Mac burger. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, and onion We ordered a large order of onion rings to accompany our burger After a 5 to 7 minute, wait the burgers arrived! My burger arrived, exactly as I ordered a medium rare. This burger was hand formed 1/3 pound of fresh hamburger. It was so juicy. It was also grilled with love. The toppings were spot on would like having a big Mac. I loved the soft roll. So fresh so spongy so delicious. The onion rings were on point, and there were so many in my order. I took some home. These are some really good rings. The pink lemonade was so tart and delicious ice cold. It was perfect on this warm day. Another great experience in this institution called Antonio's! With so many choices around. The best bang for the buck is right here, in Simsbury. Always clean restrooms parking is a breeze, and I didn't check out the new bar connected to this place but someday I will We were treated like family, and it was such a welcoming and perfect experience

The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy. (Sometimes curly fries are too soft imo). My chicken parm was excellent. Served with pasta. The nice part was also the prices. Very reasonable. Service was also excellent and extremely attentive. My only disappointment was Pepsi products, but I know the red label that I like is not small business friendly. The decor is fun. American Pickers has nothing on Steven's collection. Just wondering where his tap shoes are from Ms Gloria's!?

3.5: I had high hopes for this cute little place but was a bit disappointed in the food…read more The smallish menu consists of a few breakfast items like avocado toast variations, an omelette, a waffle and a pancake, as well as a couple sandwiches, and pizzette. They also have some baked goods like a cinnamon roll, alfagor shortbread cookies, and various cakes; they seemed to have a dry consistency which isn't my preference with pastries. The spinach and chicken empanadas ($6 each) were also a little dry and crust to filling ratio was more on the crust side. The two omelettes were ok but one was more well done than the other and you couldn't really customize it much; the home fries were good though. They also have a variety of drinks that were interesting, especially the Peruvian coffee and golden latte. You order at the counter and then your food is brought to you. Empanadas just needed to be heated. The atmosphere isn't bad. There are a few small tables and it was pretty quiet, with a few customers stopping in every once in awhile. In the warmer weather, outdoor seating is available. Parking shouldn't be an issue either.

"Well, you should see Polythene Pam She's the kind of a girl…read morethat makes the "News of the World" Yes, you could say she was attractively built" (Lennon & McCartney) Baked by Pam is a very sweet Peruvian Bakery, coffee shop, and luncheonette run by a mother and daughter team from Lima. How cool is that? You'll find it in the Antonio's Plaza on Hopmeadow Street in the space previously occupied by Lox Stock and Bagel, a Dunkin, and a Lion's Den coffee shop. The interior is very pretty with a white and pink color scheme, but what really grabs your attention are the tantalizing bakery treats in their showcase - cake slices, Dulche de Leche rolls, and wonderful Peruvian cookie/pastries known as Alfajores. Pam also serves up breakfast with avocado toasts, bagels wraps, egg sandwiches, and heartier fare like waffles, empanadas, steak and eggs, omelets, pancakes and waffles. Add in their deep line of coffees and teas, and you have the makings of a wonderful experience here, like we did. We had a very nice lunch here yesterday and ordered a spinach empanada and a beef empanada for me, and a Lucuma Chocolate Chip Waffle ($11.50). My empanadas ($6 each) were wonderful. They are homemade every single day by Pam herself and were flaky, tender, and really loaded with fillings. The beef empanada was my favorite; the delicately spiced ground beef was delicious. The full-sized circular waffle was a work of art, garnished with strawberries, Nutella, chocolate shavings and bordered by a pillow of golden whipped cream flavored by Lucuma, a sweet yellowish South American fruit. When Pam's daughter Danitza brought out our foods, she gave us a complimentary Nutella Alfajor - a yummy, filled shortbread cookie. Ours was so terrific, we ordered two of them to go -a Classic and a Pistachio. When we arrived home, we saw a third small Alfajor was tossed into the box as another freebie. We really fell in love with Baked by Pam! The delicious pastries, the breakfast and brunch menu, the pretty interior, and the wonderful service -everything was stellar.
