This place is awful. We saw the buffet advertised in the local saver paper so we thought what the heck. I got online and saw mostly good reviews so even though I was leery we went. The pasta was a little too firm for my preference, the sauce was watered down and bland, the pizza sauce had a sweet flavor too it. The walls on the side where we sat were patched up but not painted. Wow! Hidden gem in our neighborhood! First time here we celebrated my birthday with family and we were impressed with the quality of the food and service! Dino and his wife were so friendly and accommodating. They treated us like family! The food was fresh, homemade, and delicious. We loved the pizza and sandwiches. We ended up catering with Cousins for my children's graduation party this past weekend and we received so many compliments on the food. The Italian beef so flavorful, the mostaccoli was perfectly baked and the chicken vesuvio with potatoes was outstanding!! This is our go to place from now on! went a few Saturday's ago (had another Amazon Local deal) - had the chicken parm - was pretty good! The chicken breast was large and juicy and the sauce was just right - we ordered a pizza to go - that definitely needed a bit more - crust was not buttery and was lacking that "something special" We were waited on by a very nice gentleman (I believe one of the brother's). The atmosphere is nothing to write about (no really nothing to write about!) it's a Pub type environment with a separate dining area ...almost an afterthought. But the food is good enough. I order the half price pizza from here on Wednesdays. Nothing special but a good pizza for the price. You can get a large pizza with a couple toppings for $8. They do have slot machines and darts in the bar area. The place is a little divey and probably needs to be updated a little bit. read more

This place is really easy to miss or overlook because it's set so far off Lake Street (set back from the road). I'm not one that likes a bar atmosphere, but will tolerate it for their great cooking! They have a separate restaurant area away from the bar area. They have the incredible 1/2 price pizza (eat in or take out) on Wednesday and Saturday (eat in). Pizza even on the 1/2 price days - they don't skimp on the ingredients cheese, sausage etc. I don't know how they make any $$ off the 1/2 price days. Have inexpensive lunch specials Monday through Friday $2.99, a monthly "customer appreciation" meal that is FREE with the purchase of a $3.00 drink! What's not to love? Friendly, efficient staff, family owned. Love at first bite! Hope they never change. My only complaint is that the blinds are always closed - but I supposed that's because it's basically a bar. read more

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall local pub but absolutely shows that looks can be deceiving. Every time I enter I always feel welcome no matter if it's just to grab a to-go order, or to dine in. The buffet on Tuesday is well worth the money and all in the family can easily find something they like. My favorite pizza in the area, hands down! I love their crust because they use corn meal on the bottom of the pan that it's cooked on and it's always thin and crispy. Their sauce is tasty & they always put plenty of cheese. I prefer my pizza a little brown on top, so I alsk for it well done and they make it fresh to order every time! Best part is... they have half-off specials on pizza every Wednesday! We order almost every Wednesday. The wings are ok, but they do offer a good dinner salad. Def recommend! read more

Looking for the best pizza in Chicago? You won't find it here but you will find the best value for your dollar. Stopped in on a Tuesday night to grab a bite and a beer. The whole staff is family and they treat you wonderfully. Friendly and outgoing and they always check to make sure your doing OK. The food is nothing to rave about but an 'all you can eat' buffet for $4.95, where in the world except here can you find that? Several big screens TV's to catch the game and a down home pub like atmosphere. I left with a full stomach and a full wallet. Great watering hole that has the best food value around. read more

I catered from Cousins for a college Graduation party for 60 guests, we ended up with about 50 guests. The copious amount of food that came was more than enough and might I add delicious. I was amazed by the quantity and quality of it all. We had the Cajun chicken, pasta primavera and Italian beefs plus salad plus dressings plus peppers for the beef. So good. I have been going here for a couple of years now. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. I like watching games there and the pizza is great. The pizza is different from other places. Pretty close to my house. After school on Wednesdays we go there and sit down and watch some sports. Their pizza is surprisingly tasty, and for a very low price. The staff is very, very nice and cool. The bartender who is always there remembered my friends and my names after the second time going there, and the manager always gives good talks about sports.
