I was never 100% comfortable moving forward and continued using my brow pencil and or gel. Finally I was searching again about 6 months ago and found Denise Gordon and am so glad I did. I looked a little further away from where I live and found about 4 that I started really looking in to. Face Permanent Makeup (Denise) is the only one that had so much information and so many reviews that I kept going back to her site. She described the entire process and the "why" behind her method and that no one should have to come back for multiple "touch ups" . I spoke with her and then booked my appointment. She makes you feel very comfortable asking about you and your reason for wanting this makeup procedure... and really cares. Her place is super clean and professional and lovely. She explained everything ahead of time and as she went along ... just great. Oh and her follow up is amazing! She actually calls the next few days to see how you are doing and if you have any questions. I will recommend Denise to everyone I know that is thinking about micro blading or permanent makeup. The session was fairly long but expected. She was very informative throughout the entire process. We finished up and I was happy with my results, then I went home to go make-upless for the next seven days. I was content with my eyeliner, I did uppers and lowers, but my body decided to eat up the ink, and I had to go back for a major redo, but Patti was very gracious and and she spent a lot of time with me. After my second session and 8 days later, extremely happy with my result. Patti has checked in with me every few days to make sure all was well with my new eyeliner. She does a meticulous job. The total service for a full set of brows (first time) was $1,000. The pricing depends of which technician you choose. The highest level in the owner, but I picked Bella, who is one level below. When I arrived, I marveled at the beautiful space and gorgeous people. Everyone who works here has amazing brows, and so they are walking / talking advertisements. Jen, the receptionist, was very kind and patient for this first-timer. I paid the balance of $700 and finally met my brow artist, Bella. Bella is gorgeous! It's kinda intimidating but she's also super sweet and put me at ease. She explained every single step and took time to answer my questions. It's a process...I think I was there for close to two hours. Logistics: In 2023, the parking lot was $2.25 per every 30 minutes and not validated. Metered street parking was available but read the signs carefully. It has now been a year and a half and I can honestly say this has changed my life for the better! My brows were very uneven and thinning (thyroid condition) - which made me look so old and tired!! I now look bright-eyed and bushy tailed each morning after I roll out of bed. No makeup needed! I otherwise had a great experience, I like the fullness and the individual strokes in my eyebrows. My issue is how asymmetrical they are in the center. I love the right one (on the left in the photo) but the other does not match at all. Lea was kind and offered a free touch up as needed at no charge, but I am now researching how to fade my left eyebrow at this point.
