Dr Huang has been my oncologist for 14 years. I really feel like he saved my life because when I…read moremet him I was very sick and my cancer was very advanced. He is one of the most skilled doctors I have ever been to, but just as importantly he is a loving, deeply caring person. I always felt like I was really special to him, but I think he probably makes every patient feel that way. I rarely see him now because I have been in remission for since 1998, and I actually miss Dr. Huang! Marie in the the front office is wonderful too...she has calmed down my nerves with her kindness many times. By the way...their new office is really lovely, although I would go to Dr Haung wherever he was.

Found it was appendicitis and was scheduled for surgery later in the day. The doctors were great, Dr. Guerrero, the main management doctor, and the recovery nurse was so fun and nice to chat with before surgery. Nurse Cori and Dora have been great, and aide Allie was so great yesterday. I'm not sure why people have such a poor review of this place, maybe they don't understand that sometimes you have to wait at a hospital and the staff have so many other patients to care for too. My husband is an RN too and thinks that everyone here is doing a great job so I hope this review holds a little more weight than all these one stats. Thank you UCI team!!

I discovered OC Rehab thru Referral from Dr. Maruko, orthodontics. Went to see if Jaw mos alignment…read moreand TMJ type symptoms could be corrected. Lloyd first worked on my upper body structure and posture.. and I made remarkable improvement. In 3-4 months my jaw has moved into a more straight/corrective placement, surprising me! It has made enough correction in the right direction that Dr. Maruko is ready in 4 weeks to fit me for Invisalign braces.. . In addition, Lloyd has given me very simple exercises to do throughout the day. What is most outstanding is that 15 years ago .. I was considering major reconstructive jaw surgery to correct my bite with 3.5 years of orthodontics also. ‍ I'm so glad to find Lloyd, and alternative treatment. He is incredibly knowledgeable, hires great interns, and everybody is laughing and in a general good mood in this busy office. The facility was consistently clean and had a calm, welcoming atmosphere. It stayed organized without ever feeling chaotic, and the staff were professional, approachable, and responsive. That consistency carried across the entire facility--from the nurses, CNAs, and medical providers to social services, activities, dietary, housekeeping, and front-office staff. We received timely reminders and updates, which helped me stay on top of his care and next steps. As his primary caregiver, knowing I could reach someone when I had a question made my life easier and gave me much-needed peace of mind. Most importantly, my dad formed a genuine connection and friendship with the people caring for him. That certainly made his four-month stay feel much more personal and comfortable. PT and OT were especially important to his recovery. They were patient and encouraging while helping him rebuild his strength, mobility, confidence, and everyday abilities. They challenged him appropriately while adjusting to how he was feeling each day. After four months, his transition home was handled smoothly. I'm grateful to the entire Gordon Lane team for supporting my dad and making a difficult period easier for our family.

Once they got me there they put me in a diaper! After putting up with this for several days I threatened to require transfer to another care center. Then they promised to get a commode for me for my bedside. They kept promising and promising, and never did it for the 6+ weeks I was there! In addition, the first space I was assigned had a TV that would only turn off if you unplugged it. Also, their TV channels did not include KTLA, a major local channel. Hygiene was also an issue. The curtain between me and my neighbor had smear of snot or other bodily fluids on it. It took more than a week for them to change it. Later on I had a chest infection and I got some fluid on the new curtain. When I told the cleaning crew, all they did was rehang the same curtain with the side toward my neighbor (who was there for cancer treatment)! There was also a security issue. One male resident, who apparently had some form of dementia, kept wandering the halls and entering my space, claiming he was visiting a friend (no males were in my unit, and the other resident also did not want him in our unit). I told the staff and they cautioned him ("you don't want to go back to the hospital (mental?), do you?"), but he continued to poke his head into my unit. I observed them lying to residents. They took away my neighbor's wheelchair because they didn't want her wandering unaccompanied in the halls, but told her they didn't know what happened to it. They promised physical therapy four times a week but I never received more than 10 to 15 minutes two or three times a week, and when I asked for more they said staff were unavailable.

As an example I recently had an appointment with her this last week. She took time to go through everything regarding my recent labs, medical procedures and even levels of stress I may be dealing with. While with my medical plan I do to need a referral I asked her for referrals to two doctors and she gave me both referrals and as my colonoscopy is due she confirmed the doctor that preformed it last and reviewed that report to confirm it was indeed due. Doctor Fajardo treated not only me but many family and friends that I have referred over the years. My mother in law prior to her passing went to Doctor Fajardo. She loved her and I greatly appreciated all the service she gave my mother in law over more than her last decade of my mother in law's life. Thank you Doctor Fajardo

I haven't seen Dr. Fajardo in years and had buried the memory of why I didn't go back to her again…read more- she basically refused to work with me and said she'd fire me as a patient. This is your place if you want a doctor who will give up on you and refuse to work with you on your care plan. This was especially unfortunate as I am a Latina and thought I could find familiarity and support in a Latina physician. Not the case here. Apparently the woman who did my Brazilian wax was more observant than her NP too. I had something that needed to be looked at and her NP was just not willing to look for it. I really felt awful after these two experiences and would not recommend them to anyone who wants physicians or providers who will care about them.
