I cannot say enough about my experience at Covert Lincoln and with Product Specialist, Mike Dixon. I had been in the market for a new vehicle for some time and had many different types of experiences. I was thrilled at the service I experienced with Mike. I had a few cars I was interested in, and he explained the options/features for each car in great detail. He was able to answer all my questions to great satisfaction. I was fascinated to learn about Covert's client convenience options regarding service! I am a former Lexus owner, and I now think Covert has them beat with all their options! Mike is highly personable and knowledgeable, and he treated me as if I was his only client. I had a VIP experience with him and I now own a beautiful car with numerous safety features and fun options. He delivered the car to my home, made sure I understood the car's features and mentioned that I could always call him with questions. He introduced me to the team, and I am confident my needs will be met. If you want a great vehicle with fantastic customer service options please ask for Mike Dixon. I have owned a few businesses in the past and I can assure you I would have recruited him!

The salesperson was very kind, helpful, and easy to work with while we negotiated the purchase of our Cadillac Optiq. We purchased the vehicle over the phone, and my wife stopped by the dealership to see it in person. The deal was better than what other dealers were offering, including free delivery and free ceramic window tint, so we felt very good about our decision. Unfortunately, the experience changed quickly after the sale. When I called to choose the window tint percentages for the different windows, I was told the dealership had already chosen them and that I didn't have an option to change them. I wasn't happy about that, but since the tint was included at no charge, I accepted it. The next issue was the "free delivery." I assumed the vehicle would be transported on a flatbed, but instead the dealership drove the vehicle to me. Since this is a lease and mileage is important to me, I wish that had been clearly communicated before the vehicle was delivered. By the time I received it, the vehicle already had around 250 miles on it. We were excited to finally have our new Optiq and enjoy it over the weekend. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. After driving the vehicle for approximately three hours on Friday, a tire monitoring system failure appeared on the dash, and the vehicle also wouldn't charge. I immediately informed the salesperson of the problems. I took the vehicle to my local Cadillac dealer on Saturday. After several days, I finally got the vehicle back on Wednesday and was excited again to start enjoying our new vehicle, especially since it was now fully charged. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. On Friday, I discovered that the vehicle had once again failed to charge. I took it back to the dealer after work, only to find out that the needed part was on back order. At this point, my biggest complaint isn't even that the vehicle has had problems. Problems can happen with any vehicle. My biggest disappointment is the complete lack of follow-up from the dealership that sold me the vehicle. I had to contact the dealership myself to ask for help. They made one phone call on my behalf, and that was essentially the end of their involvement. Nobody followed up to see how the repair was going, whether the vehicle had been fixed, or how we were doing with our brand-new purchase. In my opinion, the dealership should have taken ownership of the situation. They could have offered to pick up the vehicle and have it repaired at their dealership. They are only about three hours away. Instead, I was left to deal with everything through my local dealer. I also asked about getting out of this vehicle and into another one, but the dealership wasn't able to offer a solution. I was ultimately directed to contact GM myself to pursue a buyback. That's extremely disappointing after choosing this dealership over others and trusting them with a significant purchase. The sales process was excellent. The salesperson was helpful and the initial deal was great. Unfortunately, customer service shouldn't end once the dealership has your money. My experience has essentially been: take my money, deliver the vehicle, and when something goes wrong, you're on your own. I would strongly encourage anyone buying a vehicle from out of state or several hours away to think about what will happen if something goes wrong after the sale. Based on my experience, I would not expect this dealership to take much responsibility for helping you once the vehicle leaves their lot. I really wanted to enjoy our new Optiq. Instead, we've spent the first weeks dealing with service problems, charging issues, a back-ordered part, and now a potential GM buyback. I'm still waiting on the back ordered part. That's not the experience I expected when purchasing a brand-new Cadillac. 2 months and car is still in the shop with 500 miles. No call from sales manager, GM and just flat out gave up on sales rep.

I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Thank you, Isaac, Angela, and Stephanie!

I decided to wait for my vehicle and was disappointed that I was not given an estimate of when the car would be ready. I've had other makes of cars, and those dealers always provided that. When my vehicle was ready, my advisor came to me and let me know that nothing was found, and provided the extra information I had requested at check in. I received a text that allowed me to sign my invoice, but I was also sent to the counter, where an invoice was presented, so I had that option too. Lexus has a coffee shop for customers, and here's where this review loses stars. The employee working was cold and unfriendly. She wouldn't smile. She wouldn't engage with anyone. When no customer was at the counter, she stood around, looking unhappy. When I got in line for a second time to get a refill she made me feel like I was bothering her. This is not the Lexus service I expected. On top of that, while I was in line that second time, an employee came in through the back of the café area and asked about getting food, asking about the last muffin in the case. She said he could have it and take it. So, he did. There were four of us in line. What if one of the customers in line wanted it? Overall, this is not Lexus level service.

The complaints stem from both the sales and service aspects. You may wish to scroll through all the one star reviews so as to avoid any possible pitfalls yourself. As for me, I've not had any problems and I usually have a list of things I would like addressed upon arrival as far as maintenance goes. One thing I noticed that's new is that when you check in it's likely you'll get a call from the sales department asking if you wish to have your car appraised to sell to them (I did). To be honest, I wouldn't buy a new Lexus today with all those small four-cylinder turbo engines and the new spyware cameras that watch you driving. I love my 2010 ES 350 and I wish they still made them like this. I'd definitely buy another one. My visit consisted of a 30 point inspection, drain and fill transmission service and serpentine belt inspection. I did ask to see a sample of the tranny fluid to see how dark it was since the car comes with no dipstick, but they forgot my request. They did run into a problem with the drain plug being stripped from the previous tranny shop so they had to get one from the Toyota location which added an extra hour and a half to my wait. Altogether the inspection and trans service set me back $532. It would've been nice if the inspection included a diagnostic scan to check for any codes. Overall, everything went well, and Harold my advisor was very attentive. You'll pay a little more here than the average shop, but at least you get the right parts and fluids. I'll be back when I need something else fixed.

I would rather have the expectations of being in a dealership for 5 hours instead of wasting my time online, filling out all of the documents and being under the impression that I would be in and out in 30 minutes and ask the same questions that were answered online and on the phone when someone from carmax called me. 1.. The process totally wasted my time. I spent a good amount of time online filling out all documentations.Answering all questions only to be asked those same exact questions. When I got to the dealership. 2. I got to the dealership roughly at 4:30. I was told that I would be out numerous times within thirty minutes. All I would have to do is sign and go. Well, that was the first misleading statement from carmax. I did not leave the dealership until 9:30. 3. The salesperson that was assigned to me.His name was ramsey. I never felt comfortable with this guy.He never made me feel as if my best interest was being met. The process felt just like a process.Give me in, get me out.Let him move on to the next person. He spoke to me in a very condescending wait, in fact, I had to correct him a couple of times about the way he was speaking to me. He spoke to me as f I was a individual who lacked the intelligence to understand the process. 4. Ramsay also didn't give me the full carmax experience of when you buy a new car. while waiting 44 and a half hours, I did see other salespeople. When they finished up their sale, walk with their clients to their new car and give them the yellow bow treatment with the pitcher. Well, needless, say that is not an experience that I got with ramsey. As I said previously, everything seemed like a rush process, he made me totally feel like I was an inconvenience to him.And wasting his time. 5. Let's talk about the appraisal process. Now, this isn't something that i'm really upset about, because you can't really have a vehicle appraised online and have an actual good appraisal without an actual appraiser.Looking at the car. Online, they told me, initially I was gonna get $8000 for my car, well, turns out, I only got $6400. 6. Let's talk about the car. I purchased a 2024 BMW 330I with the M2 Sports package with 7,100 miles on it. After spending 425 hours in the dealership, it was finally time for me to get my car. WELL THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WHEN I GOT INSIDE THE CAR WAS THAT THE FLOOR MATS WERE GENERIC FLOOR MATS THAT DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL. AND WHEN I SAY THEY DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL, MEANING THE FLOOR MATS ACTUALLY COVERED THE GAS PEDAL. i brought this to the attention of the floor sales manager. Instead of coming up with helpful solutions from the beginning I was told that the pitchers online did not come with floor mats.So they just threw some floor mats in there. Again, I told this guy that this is a safety issue. The floor mats literally covered the gas.Pedal, and they let me drive off that way. They told me to find some floor mats under a hundred and fifty dollars, and they were reimburse me. Now I'm not the sharpest knife in it. Kitchen drawer? But I would always think that a dealership's top priority is to make sure they're letting you leave in a nice safe vehicle At the very least, they could have said.Hey, let us take these car mats out this vehicle. And when you buy some new ones, just bring us the receipt and reimburse you.No that did not happen. 7. Let's continue to talk about the car. Before carmax sells your car. They are supposed to do a quality inspection on the vehicle. I'm under the impression that this vehicle did not get a dural quality.Inspection. My reasoning for saying that is because the following day When I took the car to where I work at which is ABM W dealership It was pointed out to me that the windshield had a very large crack in it. Now to give carmax credit, they did get that problem.Taken care of they replaced the entire windshield. The car was also missing all four valve stem caps. Does summit all up my first and last car buying experience with carmax was an utter failure. The only reason I left with this car is because of myself. Pride, because I was telling everyone I was buying this car, and I had to deal wrapped up.That's the sole reason that I bought this car. I'm pretty sure that ramsey and his entire sales team mayfield, as if they got one over me by selling me this car at the non negotiated price that I wanted online and then me still buying a car after the whole entire bad experience. Well I may have left with this car But carmax will never see me again as a customer, and I hope that these words read to someone before they make a decision to buy a vehicle from you all..
