This place is super yummy. I pay the extra $1 to get chicken breast teriyaki because it has no fat pieces or anything and they season it so perfectly. I even once had fish and chips and it was really good as well. I am addicted to their salad dressing and even like to put it on my rice and chicken. This place is worth a try. read more

We've been going here for years and love it. Chicken breast and brown rice takes longer to cook, and that's the only negative. But again, that's our choice. The seating areas are bright and roomy, much better than some other teriyaki places. LOVE. read more

Living just down the street from Covington Teriyaki, I frequent this place quite often and although I had quite the qualms about an establishment serving both Fish & Chips and Teriyaki, I must say I now wish I had given it a chance sooner. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly owner with an always welcoming smile on his face help to make this an absolute gem of the city of Covington. I have been a customer of Covington Teriyaki since they opened and have always been happy with their service and food. Tonight, May 22, 2020, that changed! We are still in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic, so I placed a to-go order and went to pick it up. When I walked in, I noticed that NONE of the employees were wearing masks. Other customers coming in were not masked, either. I asked the cashier about it and he said that they don't wear masks. He asked if I had ordered and I told him I had and that it was supposed to be ready, but, since they were not following Washington Dept. of Health guidelines, I would not accept it or pay for it. Instead of an apology or acknowledgement of understanding my position, I was invited not to return. That is his prerogative, as was mine for not accepting less than state standards in the preparation/handling of food. The King County pandemic infection/death rate is still rising and I find this restaurant's behavior irresponsible. I will not return or recommend this establishment. I am saddened that it came to this. I was looking forward to a teriyaki dinner, but I will not compromise the health of my family. read more

This was THE worst teriyaki ever. Teriyaki chicken was ordered and there was next to no teriyaki sauce on the chicken. The chicken was under-cooked on the inside (pink) and dry on the outside. There was not even extra tracings of sauce on the rice (from the chicken sitting on top of the rice.) The customer service from the so-called-manager, Mia, was way below acceptable. She did not listen and kept putting words into my mouth. I drove out to this location (30 miles) because this used to be an awesome place to go, got take-out, drove out to work (in Seattle) and Mia still wanted me to bring this back for a refund. Mia tried to tell me that the sauce soaks into the chicken. Well, if that was the case then the chicken should taste like the sauce. Wrong! That was completely wrong...It tasted like dry, under-cooked, crispy chicken. NEVER going here again. This was the worst $7+ I have ever spent. read more

Best Teriyaki place I've been to. Seriously. I usually get chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, or spicy chicken teriyaki. This is my first time writing a review for anything and I just really want to say that this is my favorite teriyaki place. I would go out of my way to bring friends and family here. The service is great and I love how the meat is soft and cooked just right, and the teriyaki sauce they use for any teriyaki meal I get always taste really good to me. The sauce doesn't look or taste watered down and I like it better then any I've ever tried. read more
