This place had no afghani food that the website says they have I ordered the bolani 6.99 and mint juice 2.99 and kids chi teriyaki bowl 8.99 upon arrival the man at the desk let us know there was no bolani and that he could sub for pot stickers and Greek fries which when we got our order we were given a box of fries and the teriyaki bowl .. not even the drink the box of fries was given with no added toppings or anything so we took it back and asked to just have a second teriyaki bowl and was given the fries back with what looks like queso fresco on top and a side sauce 6.99 for a box of fries is nonsense coulda gone to Mc Donald's don't waste your money here read more

Ordered Chicken Katsu and Mongolian Beef. The chicken was dry, thin and tasteless. The Mongolian beef was the worst that I have ever experience. My rice was old. You can tell that it's hard on the exterior to the touch. It was definitely pre-scooped and it hardened over time or was old from last night... Kind of weird to serve old rice... The chicken tasted like fish not fresh, the teriyaki sauce was so salty it could have been used as a cow lick. Even the free salad they gave for the wait was bad how do u mess up just lettuce? This place is bomb! From the generous size portions right on down to the hardworking family keeping it going! I ordered simple! Chicken teriyaki and a canned soda. The chicken was juicy, too scoops of rice and lettuce/salad. The total came to 8 bucks and change. I love this place! I use to come here all the time when I lived in Kent but haven't been back in years. Randomly decided to stop in today for a quick bite and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I ordered the honey garlic chicken and a side of Gyoza. Both items were really tasty and flavorful. They also let me know that they hired a new chef who has over 20+ years of experience and it shows. After coming here, I say the Federal Way location is better. For teriyaki places, I usually leave a cash tip at the end, but this place as soon as I put a line over the tip area of the receipt, it didn't seem like she was happy. The prices in what you get is small. Really expensive for just a single scoop of rice and small little pile of chicken and 4 gyozas. The food was good, but just expensive, small portions and rude service. I came here like a man, I expect to be fed like a man! A hungry one. One dollar paid should be one dollar worth of food. Comes with 4 fried gyozas that were pretty good as well. 1 scoop of rice and a "salad" (lettuce with some watered down dressing). It was fine and it filled me up pretty good. All 4 of us enjoyed lunch and were part of the clean plate club. They do have some specials on the board next to the register so be sure to check that out (that particular day was Honey Garlic Chicken). Pricing was fine and totally under $10. Young lady that ran the front was nice, helpful, fast and did pretty much everything from taking orders, delivering food, answering phone, cleaning the dining room etc. Place located in a strip mall so a good amount of parking spots available. So flavorful from perfect amount of char and a damn good sauce. Will be back. Large portions, this is a solid 3 meals for me. Tonight's dinner and two lunches. Best teriyaki place in the South end/ Kent area. I used to go all the way to Seattle's Best Teriyaki in the sodo district for decent teriyaki. Huge portion for the price, the chicken is juicy and all extra fats trimmed off. Normally when I order beef off the menu, I always feel like they give you less than if I order chicken, but not this place. Huge portion whether you order chicken or beef teriyaki. And their chicken katsu is crispy, tender and perfectly breaded. I find most sauce are overly sweet, but this place get the sauce just right for my picky taste bud.
