I found this place while visiting the area for a wedding. The name was just so cute that I felt like I needed to visit and try their food. I really loved the space as it's located downtown, all the buildings surrounding it were really quaint. There is street parking and a lot across the street. The space is actually roomier than expected. And there's bathrooms as well. The building for ordering has bar seating, there's outside patio seating, and another building with more seating that's connected to a business so you can eat and shop. Although there is seating indoors, it's a bit tight. If it wasn't raining I probably would've sat outside. I tried their French toast, their og breakfast sammie , and a dirty chai. Their dirty chai had a kick to it versus your basic chai latte with the limited spices. Both break items were delicious and filling. I feel their breakfast Sammie is definitely shareable. The French toast could be eaten by one haha. I would definitely stop by if I'm in the area again.

I had lunch at Cowbell Kitchen on Friday, when I was spending the day in Leesburg. It's a charming spot - with outdoor courtyard seating (as well as inside seating if the weather isn't to your liking). When I was ready to have lunch in Leesburg, I wanted something healthier, and Cowbell Kitchen's menu has lots of healthier options (bowls, salads, sandwiches...). It's vegan and vegetarian friendly. I ordered their Veggie Burger, a side of fries, and their cucumber fresca. The drinks was refreshing, but the food was just okay. The veggie burger was one of those that was quite ... mushy? It had little flavor and little texture. The fries weren't crispy enough to be very tempting to me, and I didn't each much of the serving (it's way too large of a portion to go with one meal - it really needs to be shared). I was definitely underwhelmed by the food unfortunately. I liked that you order at the register and that they text you when your order is ready. I also loved the courtyard seating - it was beautiful and relaxing, and I enjoyed reading my book while I ate my lunch. Overall, Cowbell Kitchen wasn't a bad place for a healthier meal, but I'm not super likely to return on my next trip to Leesburg.

TL;DR: Adorable spot for a date! Food (5/5): The muffins were huge and absolutely delicious! We tried the strawberry and blueberry, and both were incredible! They had a perfectly crunchy top and a moist, fluffy inside. Truly outstanding! Drinks (5/5): I ordered a lavender latte, and it was perfectly balanced! It paired really well with the strawberry muffin. Ambiance (5/5): The café is tucked down a little corridor that opens into a charming patio-style seating area. The main shop is small to allow space for a large kitchen. Inside, there's a cute table with knickknacks for sale and a counter where you place your order. A glass display case shows off all the baked goods. The bathrooms were spotless and even had free feminine products, which was a thoughtful touch. Service (5/5): The service was warm and friendly. The staff member talked to us like a friend and was quick with the order.

What can you say about one of cutest and most delicious bakery/restaurants in VA... it's literally a hidden gem. It's tucked away behind the Main Street and near the courthouse and law library. The service is friendly and amazing! You feel like you are being shown to a secret dining experience that only you know... and it's beautiful and warm. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches and the baked goods are out of this world! I can't believe this place has been here for so long without me hearing about it from everyone! The food is fresh and the ingredients all are perfectly prepared and combined for the best meal you're gonna have in a long time. Plan for a trip to downtown Leesburg and plan for your mind to be blown!

Cowbell is adorable, but unfortunately I don't think I'll come back anytime soon. I love the outdoor seating and the shops in their indoor space was really well done. My friend and I came here for a Sunday breakfast to celebrate my 30th together after a long weekend of festivities. Cowbell was highly rated and such a cute vibe. The gag? She treated me to a $55+ meal that lacked salt and seasonings and a drink that had me coughing up a storm due to the over reliance on spices. But now onto the good food: The French toast was bomb!! So delicious and flavorful and I loved the blueberries on there. They had called it a fresh fruit compote but really it's not a compote at all just fruit they have on hand thrown on there! Now onto the bad, the potatoes and eggs had no flavor. They didn't add a single thing of salt or pepper at all. Then had the audacity to charge 1$ for dipping sauces. How do you not season your food but then up charge when a customer asks for flavor ? Next I do not recommend the golden milk latte at all. It's not good and they refused to exchange it for another drink without me paying for another. I've never had a cafe do that before

Deliciousss!!! We had a bit of a hard time finding parking so we parked in a lot about 7 mins walking distance. It was good since we had our doggos anyway and we got to see how cute downtown leesburg is. I got a chicken sandwich without the buns- the chicken was delicious and moist. I loved the sautéed pepper and onions being mixed in. It has a nice flavor and seasoning was perfect. My chai tea was delicious! My mom inhaled her French toast and even finished a side salad + avocado. The side salad was very fresh. I like that it's women owned and run. Power to you ladies. The storefront itself is tiny but they have spacious outdoor seating and the indoor seating is across the building. It's super cute. Their pastries looked amazing so I'll try that next time. We'll certainly be coming back as they left a lasting impression.

This place is super precious with every item made with care! There's limited indoor dine-in seating, but it's also fast casual so people come and go quickly. There's a lot it cute outdoor patio space too. To go works too of course. I had a seasonal pumpkin muffin and it was delish! My friends like the Italian hoagie and the biscuit sandwich. i def recommend for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

I checked out Cowbell Kitchen for breakfast this morning - first time visiting. Took me a bit to find a place to park - no parking lot - as this business is located in Old Town Leesburg off of North King Street. I finally managed to find a curb spot. There is a public parking garage (with free parking for the first 2 hours) on the other side of the street behind the businesses - but my experience with that garage has been hit or miss. The previous last two visits to Old Town Leesburg yielded a totally full parking garage - and the second time - I got the last parking spot in the entire garage. Anyhoo - I ordered their OG Breakfast Sammich - with Bacon and on a Biscuit. I inquired about the availability of "cold brew" as I did not see it on the menu. They don't currently offer cold brew - only iced coffee - and the two are not the same. While I was waiting, I was ogling some of the baked goods in the display case - I'm a total slut for anything with blueberries - and they had the most amazing looking gigantic blueberry muffins, and the blueberry scones looked amazing! I got my sammich to go. You can eat on-site in a few places. There is a small bar inside by the window with a few spots with bar stools. There is also an outdoor courtyard - and an inside seating area across the other side of the courtyard. The sammich is HUGE! I ate half of it - and then the other half later as a snack. A word of warning - if you attempt to eat in the car (as I did) - you will experience a lot of biscuit crumbs! Very tasty! Service was good! I will be back! #CowbellKitchen

Matcha white chocolate cutie cake

It was a really hot day, and I was looking for a snack to cool me down. The indoor seating area was packed, so we decided to sit outside instead. We walked in and were instantly greeted by the staff. There were so many cute pastries on display, and I had difficulty figuring out what to choose. We ended up going with the matcha white chocolate cutie cake and the peach smoothie bowl. The cake was difficult to eat as the plastic forks and spoons could not pierce through it easily. Not sure if this needs to be cooled down before eating, but I'd likely not get this again for that reason. The peach smoothie bowl was definitely the standout! It was very refreshing and had a strong peach flavor. I'm really interested in trying some of the other seasonal flavors when I come back! I'd also like to come back for brunch next time as the breakfast menu sounded really good.

Cowbell Kitchen is an adorable little cafe on the outskirts of Old Town Leesburg, and it's got it all: delicious food, loads of seating both indoor and outdoor, friendly service, and a great atmosphere to enjoy your meal. I'd passed by the place for years until I finally tried it, and I regret not doing so sooner! The location can be a bit confusing - I had tried entering through the door off of Main Street, but that's actually just their indoor seating area. The counter and kitchen is located in a second building through the walkway next to the patio. I ordered one of their seasonal specials, the Burratta Grilled Cheese. I only had to wait for about 5 minutes until it was ready. It was basically a Caprese salad in sandwich form, and it was delicious. They were generous with the cheese and the tomato jam. It also came with three Gherkin pickles on the side. It was definitely a great way to start my day! I will definitely be back to try more of their menu, as well as their pastries. It also seems like a nice study spot alternative to the library or Starbucks, if that's something you're into.

We came to Cowbell Kitchen for a weekend brunch and walked away feeling full and happy. They use local farmer's market produce, which could explain the slightly higher prices. I ordered a farm bowl and enjoyed it - the falafel itself wasn't particularly flavorful but tasted healthy and paired well with the beet hummus and cashew cream. The avocado toast was loaded and came with a generous amount of toppings but was slightly pricey at $16. Next time I'll opt for one of their seasonal specials instead. Overall, I appreciate their focus on sourcing local ingredients and everything we ordered tasted just as good as it looked -- vibrant, fresh, and healthy. Would return for breakfast or brunch if I'm in Leesburg again.

Came for brunch last week with my family. I got the Farmer's Market Bowl. The food was incredible! Great portion size for the price. The hummus and cashew cream enhanced the flavor as well, and the falafel was cooked perfectly. Food came promptly and was delivered by a nice staff member. The patio was adorable, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is also additional seating upstairs, which is surrounded by rooms with various local products. My sister and I stayed for a bit to do some work, and they had free wifi as well. Would definitely come again!

Lovely place. Staff is very nice. Female owned! You order at the counter and find a table (first come first serve) and they bring your order to you. Next time I go I think I'll explore the breakfast bowls. The sandwich was delicious but a lot of biscuit... but good nonetheless! Mocha was 10/10. The vibe is cozy. And after you eat you can stop by the shop in-house and buy some jewelry, antique kitchenware, flowers, etc.

Aside from the tasty sandwiches and coffee, I can say with certainty that God is present here! I will never forget when I came here several years ago with a friend and there was a woman present that was clearly having some drug related issue, and while my friend and I were trying to figure out what to do, a priest happened to show up and immediately offered to take her to the hospital. But I was thirsty when I happened to be walking past Trinity House this past Friday, and I stopped in. The cafe is large, with lots of comfortable seating.
