    Allegedly this is peach cobbler
    Mel M.

So I ordered my usual half chicken plate and was excited to get their free peach cobbler with purchase, until this showed up... How do you with a good conscience, scrape every last bottom of the burnt crust to give me in my serving? It was not edible ewww. You oughtta be ashamed.

I ordered a three piece dark meal via Door dash. The chicken was hard and cold! It was disgusting and I'm sure that whoever prepared my order was well aware that the chicken was old and inedible! I worked 12 hours yesterday and had this delivered at 8:45p.m, bringing a horrible close to my day.

Average food at best. People in my party were raving about this place but I thought the chicken was dry and the green beans over seasoned. This rice was OK but I doubt I'd go back given other choices.

Came her for the first time today. The restaurant is very nice and clean inside. Started off strong with a perfect Texas sweet tea, all of the food was absolutely delicious. I especially love how fresh the rolls are. Prices are good, and we will definitely be back!

4 Checkin tenders with a lot of batter never will get this plate again

5/17/2024- Today I wanted to try the chicken tenders and was completely dissatisfied basically 70% of the order was batter I think I will stick with Cane's CC please try another recipe with your chicken tenders not what was I expecting had no flavor, stick to your smoked or baked chicken and the street corn, leave the tenders to Cane's.

Left out broccoli, tempura tenders, try and guess what the other side is

I think one and a half stars would be fair This food is so obviously left out ready to be packed up and served rather than any attempt at making things fresh(food should be prepared then thrown out if past its shelf life under a heat lamp), im guessing that's the business model. tempura as a batter for chicken tenders in my opinion is just not a good idea from a culinary standpoint and just isn't it in manner. I've never had sour broccoli before until here. The best thing was the rolls and sauce. I've eaten here 3 times(I wanted to give it a chance) and it's just expensive dry food with flavor I wouldn't recommend.

I bought food here before but through DoorDash . The food always been good. Today is my first time coming into the restaurant. Customer service was ok not really friendly. The establishment was very dirty all the tables had food stains. I let the young lady that attended us that the tables where very dirty. If she had anything for I can clean the table and seats . The food was not what I expected since I ate food from this location before. Overall I give 1-10 . This location haves allot work to be done. I hope in the future they fix the problem. But for now I will not buy anything from this establishment. To management please take time to check the restaurant daily to make sure your business customer ready at all time. Employees need a refresher training. I wish you the best in making this restaurant a better experience. P.s the restrooms were ver dirty as well.

i got to go so i'm not sure about the service or anything like that but very good food!! i got the half chicken (white), ranchero beans, mac & cheese, & the loaded potatoes. the only thing i wasn't really a fan of was the potatoes. we will definitely be going back!

First chicken. Super dry and inedible

Hello, Hi, and Hey! So I give a 5 star today to one food place and it saddens me that I have to give a 2 for this one. It should be a 1 but they gave me another chicken that was edible. First off when you get your food check it and make sure it is fresh. I didn't do that a d I had to make a second trip up there. I went to this place for my family because the "other" fire grilled chicken place had ran out of chicken. The pictures will explain the difference of the chicken and there is no explanation for the burnt broccoli. The second chicken was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the first. Here is a fair warning, if food places want good reviews please serve good food. If I'm going to give you the bad I will definitely point out the good if there is any to report. More importantly please know that I am going to be visiting fast foods, five star restaurants and all in between..... oh by the way the salad was freshly made and the fried okra was hot and fresh! I promise to return and if it's fresh I will give a better rating.

Chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and a roll. Horrible.

Absolutely horrible. I waited 25 minutes in the drive through and I was the only one in line. I got my chicken tenders and they were all chewy and inedible. I won't be returning but if you chose to eat here, stay away from the chicken tenders. Maybe there's something better on the menu, but I won't know because I won't try it again. Twice baked potatoes were good but that was it.

Karen here is one of the main reasons Cowboy Chicken has a 1 star ratting! She's the Manager on Thursday knight I would definitely not go!

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.

Second, the Canton Marketplace is open only once a month, during Canton First Mondays. That's not Monday, it's the Thu-Sun before the first Monday of each month. So, yes, only one weekend a month can you try this place! Third, I never thought this place looked good because it was in a gas station, and maybe the logo didn't spark joy for me. Even in the Canton Marketplace, I almost didn't try it. My misjudgment! The spicy OG is the ***best*** chicken sandwich I've ever had. It's a bit messy, so maybe I should ask for 3/4 as much sauce. Or really, I'll just learn to be tidier each time I enjoy it. Sauce might drip out even as you are unwrapping it. =) The regular OG is the **2nd-best** chicken sandwich I've ever had. =) Chicken thighs FTW!!! (You can also get the sandwich with white meat instead, but I much prefer the version with dark meat. Really owe it to yourself to try the OG as an OG.) They also make their own sweet tea and lemonade. Of the sides I've tried, I think I liked the corn/elote best. Oh, right, they also have a mean salad! One of the best I've ever had. Tough choice between that and the spicy OG. But I'd say you gotta try the chicken sandwich at least once, the way it's meant to be. You can take the salad home for later. Chef Ryan is a nice guy.
