Cowboy Coffee is centrally located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's eye-catching to those looking for coffee. However, it comes off as overrated. They ran out of croissants before 7 AM. The coffee was not very flavorful and fell flat. For being a location and a tourist spot, the service was very slow to complete orders. Overall, it was overpriced and not that good. When we got dropped off to go there again, I decided not to order and go to a different coffee shop because the options at Cowboy Coffee are just "meh." I give it 2 stars because the breakfast sandwich was okay. The cinnamon roll seemed burnt or too chewy like it was over-cooked reheated with not enough icing. The avocado toast was lacking avocado and with such little egg on it. Will not be coming back.

I was looking for the coffee shop that opens the earliest in Jackson Hole, and Cowboy Coffee was the one that showed up in my searches. They opened at 6AM, and they get very busy. I love their merchandise-- they have some cute little shopping bags and mugs. Anyways I like their coffee. But, I really came here to get some breakfast. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and it was bigger than I expected. The ham had a sweetness to it -- I think it was honey ham. Overall, the ham and cheese croissant was sweet and savory. Definitely check them out.

Cowboy coffee is not one of the viral instagram spot that misses on reality. It's reality is good coffee with an incredible amount of selections. Not to mention the incredible Cowboy Burrito. The best thing about it though is the service. What a well oiled machine the staff is with a friendly vibe and customer first to match. Great experience.

Solid coffee shop in Jackson! Cute marketing, quick service, cozy location. I'm excited to explore the menu some more in the coming days. Definitely a good morning stop on your Grand Teton visit.

Line gets long in the morning. I got an iced matcha with vanilla and lavender - could be worse. It was tolerable considering I'm a huge matcha drinker and nerd who is used to very high quality powder. They have 2 options for matcha, pre-sweetened powder and an unsweetened powder. If you really like matcha, I'd get the unsweetened one and then add in a syrup or the agave/cane sugar on the side. Coffee is fine, good enough. Vibe is cute and they have cute merch

One of my favorite coffee shops here in Jackson Hole, WY. Super friendly staff, yummy hot chocolate and coffee, and very cozy atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and the quality is extremely delicious! Highly recommend to anyone!

Tiny but mighty, this cute little spot is the go too in town judging by the lines. Coffee is good.

The cutest coziest coffee shop in Jackson Hole town square. Super friendly and quick service. Within walking distance of literally everything including our hotel! Hard not to come in every day we were in town. Honestly it was lovely to not have an Sbux around hehe We went with the Mexican Mocha and it was soooo good! I wish I could have it at home with me. They also offer lots of merchandise and coffee for purchase.

A popular place for coffee and pastries. My boyfriend and I ordered the huckleberry mud pot and the cowboy Cubano; both were great! The service could have been better. It was a busy Saturday morning, but it should be expected from this place. You can also order online and pick up. The ambiance was lively and busy.

I was really looking forward to grabbing a bite in the morning here but my experience was 50-50. The vegetarian breakfast burrito was dry and nothing like it was described in the menu. It felt like they forgot not one but a few different ingredients. Plus, it's not prepared to order but ready to go. The drink I wanted, matcha huckleberry lemonade, was on their online system but actually not in season according to the server. However the server then checked with the staff and they said they could make it. It was a good drink but so very tart, too much lemon. The place does get very busy in the mornings so plan accordingly. No dedicated parking other than street parking outside.

Upon arrival in Jacksonhole, we stopped by Creekside Market to grab sandwiches to go, which is about a 20 minute or so drive from the airport. Creekside Market is a small market in a strip mall next to Dairy Queen. It has all your basic food and fishing needs in addition to a deli and liquor market. The deli serves sandwiches, salads, soup, and breakfast burritos. For the deli sandwiches, you fill out a paper slip at the counter and they make it on the spot for you. We ordered three custom sandwiches- one turkey, one beef, and one meatball sub with varying veggies and cheese and all toasted. While the turkey and beef sandwiches were good, the MEATBALL SUB was the star of the show! It may have been the BEST sandwich I've ever had. It is stuffed with eight HUGE beef meatballs slathered in marinara sauce and gooey melted provolone cheese (the cheese pull was 10/10!). It was savory, juicy, peppery, and everything a good meatball sub should be- I can still imagine the taste today and am still drooling for it! I was full eating just half a sandwich and so I had plenty to share with my family members who agreed it was a top-tier sandwich. I would go back to Jacksonhole just for this sandwich!!! Service was fantastic and we got our food within 15-20 minutes after ordering, considering it was during the lunch hour rush. Sandwiches are anywhere between $11.50 a $18.50 for an 8" sandwich (or a little less if you want a 6" sandwich). Note that there is no seating and so takeout is really the only option here. The bathrooms and floors are clean. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for ambiance

We were very surprised to find the line already went out the door! The line moved fast and boy you better be ready to order when you step up, because it is a fast moving, no messing around system. In addition there were at least three employees taking orders at the counter so the pastry case is extremely crowded and it's difficult to view what the options are. The employees weren't un-kind, but they there were no niceties like "good morning". They wanted to move you through the line quickly, so we didn't feel we could really peruse the pastries and so we skipped it and we just ordered a hot coffee and a large hot almond milk latte. People were already more than crowded inside waiting for their items so we stepped onto the patio. It was a chilly morning so the small fire pit was welcomed. For the giant crowd waiting we received our drinks within a reasonable time frame. They call names from inside behind the counter, so if you are not within 4 feet of the counter you will not hear them. We sat on the patio near the garden and the view was beautiful. My "large" latte was the same small size of my husband's drip coffee and both appeared to be around 12-14oz. Disappointing. The drip coffee was okay, but not worth returning for and my almond milk latte was also just okay. We maybe would have given Persephone another try, but in the end we chose to try the many other coffee/bakery shops in downtown. I'm not saying 'stay away', I'm just saying it's not as amazing as the hype. Other tips -look at the menu BEFORE you get in line, especially if it is buys -if you happen to snag an indoor seat realize there will be little to no privacy as the line will form right next to your table. -the birds outside are cute, friendly and will absolutely eat your food if you leave it unattended for even a moment - we saw a pack of small birds try to fly off with an entire egg croissant sandwich in the 1min the owner stepped inside for napkins. *don't worry, we stopped them

I know this is mountain town and things aren't as rushed as they are in the city, so I intended to wait. However, it took a good 3-4nin of me standing alone at the counter before anyone acknowledged me to take my order. After ordering I took a seat outside to wait for my latte. I waited, and waited. Thinking they called my name and I missed it, I headed indoors to check. Nope. They were finally calling the name of the couple who was seated outside when I arrived! Four or five minutes later they called the woman who was in line before me. There was another girl who walked in after me and was pacing, she finally asked about her mobile order she had placed 20min prior, they had no record of it, so they began making hers. I waited some more. When my latte was FINALLY ready it was placed on a counter & my name called. No "sorry for the wait". I grabbed it and booted out the door so we could get on the road. The drip coffee & latte were fine, but definitely not worth the wait. With so many other coffee shops steps away, we opted to visit the others for the remainder if our trip.
