Starting my Sunday strong... Though this lovely work of art in a cup created by Cowrie Coffee gives you that gentle nudge and not a strong bitterness is definitely a hug in a cup. Offerings here are quite unique with some superfood from beets, mushroom and CBD latte all I've had at some other shops but here is one that caught my attention..."Poi Pounder" yup how about some poi in your morning cup. Using fresh poi with a pinch of salt with vanilla and I got mine with almond milk...available either hot or cold this sip was a refreshing way to start my day. You can find her at three locations and I'm here at the Aloha Market Waikiki in Jefferson Elementary every Sunday from 8a-1p the vibe here is so chill and relaxing as I enjoy my cup under a tent is a great service and with free parking there no easier way than this along with a stamp card with every 10 the next cup is free...this indeed is a good morning! Thank you!

A mix of resto and bakery with huge dining space that could accommodate big group and big selections within the bakery cases. Also multiple outlets in town! The one in Pearl City had particularly speedy service and super responsive servers. Yep you could tell hard to find stuffs and make choices given those huge options. We got their iconic Poi Mochi Doughnut, Coco Puff, and Hawaiian Butter Mochi. We were impressed by all particularly the last one with the huge portion that we could even bring home and still so so good. Perfectly chewy with slight crunch on top from the sugar and cinnamon. The Coco Puff was another pleasantful one, with chocolate custard inside and chantily (salted caramel alike) crunch layer on top that I was really fond of. Poi doughnut was similar to any other mochi doughnut, just featuring their iconic taro-alike local gem. If you wanna try multiple local signature sweets all at once certainly go here.

The drive-thru is very convenient when I'm getting coffee on my way to work. However, it does tend to get really busy and sometimes when I see how backed up it is, I just leave. I do feel that they prioritize the drive-thru over walking in because a few times I would just go in to order if the drive-thru is busy and the barista taking my order appears to be taking and making orders for the drive-thru. There were also a few instances I saw where you can't even go in to order and could only go to the drive-thru. I do understand when they say they're short-staffed and I see how it can get pretty busy. I'm just sharing my past experience but I do continue to come here because my drinks are always made to how I like it and I love that they're open a little later than other coffee shops! Some of the drinks I love: Iced Vietnamese Cold Brew (it can be strong sometimes) Iced White Chocolate Latte Iced Hazelnut Latte Iced Blended Cookies & Cream Iced Blended Caramel Iced Blended Cookie Butter (it can be really sweet) Li Hing Lemonade I love when they have Mo'Jo Mondays where they feature a drink for $3. They also do stamp cards and when you fill it up you get a free drink at any size.

The roasted chicken - requires 20 minutes to prepare - gyoza (chicken or beef) and the orange chicken are deliciously delectable, and are my favorites. The fried noodles (no bacon is available) are the perfect accompaniment to the aforementioned entrees. Rice is also available. Chelsea is extraordinary at providing consistent superior customer service. She never fails to greet customers promptly and kindly. Chelsea wears many hats as the greeter, server, barista and overall front of house manager. It can be extremely busy, but Chelsea hustles and does her absolute best. So bring your appetite and a dose of patience. Online ordering is a great option. On your initial visit it may be difficult to find, but the discovery is well worth the hunt. It can be daunting to find the entrance, walk through a corridor and netting. But don't be deterred nor frustrated. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Corner Cafe. Say hello to Chelsea for me.
