Have always heard about this place, and today, finally made the drive out! Creature Coffee is a cute lil coffee stand located in Key Project. They do have shorter hours of operation 7am-12pm, but if you are able to make the visit, do so. They did not disappoint. I ordered their iced banana bread latte (originally came for the matcha version, but they were out of matcha), so so good! My bf got their iced coconut Vietnamese iced coffee, another good choice. The quality of their coffee, chef's kiss! Definitely will be taking the not so long drive to Kahaluu from Kaneohe, if not for the scenic views, but especially to try the iced banana bread matcha!

The cutest coffee counter and the cups are so fun. The quality of the coffee beans were great -- I ordered a cinnamon vanilla latte and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

I have just had my first Creature Coffee experience, and I must say it was most delightful! Five stars all the way! The Cortado I am sipping on has a delightful, smooth flavor yet a good strong coffee kick! If you live in Kaneohe or if you're heading up Windward side, I highly suggest passing all the Starbucks and other subpar, coffee purveyors and head right over to creature coffee. It is the real deal! The shop owner was warm and genuine. You can tell she isn't entirely dedicated to your coffee enjoyment. I will most certainly recommend this place and recommend you bring others to experience it. It is very tasty! Superb coffee Very fair price Kind local staff

Came here on my way to Koloa Ranch from Waikiki and would definitely recommend it. Some of the best coffee I've ever had and it is a really nice shop with good service and again really great coffee!

Found this cute little shop on our way to our kayaking tour. We had to really look for it and almost missed the turn. We ordered an iced black rose latte (highly recommend) and an iced coconut latte w/ coconut milk (would recommend ordering it with regular or oat milk because this combination tasted a little sour). The drinks came in a short plastic cup that was made to look like a plant pot which I thought was a neat concept to go with the theme, just wished the straws were a bit shorter to have a better height ratio because it was a little bit awkward to hold and drink from. The baristas were friendly and patient with us even though it was our first time there. They also had cute stickers for sale, I got one because the logo is adorable and it will be a nice addition to my coffee shop sticker collection.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience. The coffee shop is small so it's more like a stand/booth since there is no seating, but it's fitting if you're just looking for great coffee in the area or on your way to Kualoa Beach/Ranch. First, the barista was so friendly and seemed genuinely excited for us to try out their drinks. We tried the matcha latte and the vanilla espresso spritzer with cold foam. The matcha latte was pretty standard, but the new spritzer was spectacular! The espresso itself was great (strong, but not bitter) and it was very well balanced with the italian soda/cold foam. When we're back in the area we will definitely revisit to get the spritzer again.

Creature Coffee Shop has taken over the original spot of Morning Glass Coffee, located at the KEY Project, which permanently closed. This'll change up Kahuluu with the ending of Covid Pandemic as a lot of new businesses have opened up. I picked an iced latte before my monthly volunteer day, nice cute cups, really strong coffee which I love! There was only 1 barista working but can get foot traffic as the Elementary School is just up the street. Free ample parking shared with KEY Project.

Lunch in Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. Located in the parking lot, next to the Hygienic Store, Nome Ono Food, is a relatively new Food Truck. It was a rainy, overcast day, and the unpaved parking lot was muddy and wet. There was a tarped area with picnic tables and benches, but we didn't want to stay and eat because of the flies. I think there would be feral chickens if it wasn't raining. We both ordered Steak Fried Rice ($18 cash only) from the cheerful, helpful man. The food came out really hot in the takeout container. Luckily, I had a towel so that my niece could hold our meals on her lap in the car without getting burned. The fragrance of the food was delicious! It was torture driving to Windward Mall! We couldn't wait to find a table in air conditioning and sit down! We both dove into our containers. Everything looked good and had yummy flavor. Too bad the steak was a bit chewy from the gristle. Maybe next time, we should share a crab fried rice for $29?

Totally worth it and would tell all my local friends and fam about this place because the food was that ono!!! We ordered the steak fried rice, the garlic shrimp and chicken plate, the coconut shrimp, and the Hawai'i chop steak plate. All fireeeeeee!!! About $18/each. Cash only! Support this local braddah. He doesn't say much, all business, but his food speaks volumes. My favorite was the fried rice, so tasty and garlicky, it was hard to put down my fork. Mahalo Nome Ono!! Last but not least, the location is situated right off a roundabout next to a HUGE banyan tree, and has views of the valley with picture perfect palm trees overlooking the Ahuimanu stream inlet. Couldn't have been a more enjoyable experience! The only con was the flies that swarmed around our food were a bit annoying, so had to keep shoo-Ing them off..but at least there weren't mosquitos. Can't help the flies wanted in on the delicious food too! Haha, we'll live.

Takeout lunch from Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. Located on the left side of Kahekili Highway, headed towards the North Shore, Trydis is a bright red food truck. Look for it when you pass the traffic circle by the Hygenic Store. I parked right there at the store's gravel parking area. The menu was intriguing and the fragrances were inviting! The woman inside the truck was very friendly! I appreciate the Kama'aina discount! The man outside the truck had the Aloha Spirit, too, and helped me with my food photo, as well as packaging up my containers! I ordered the Triple Threat plate and chose Creamy Garlic Shrimp (with tails on), kalbi (tasty), and Lilikoi Smoke Meat (tender). We went here because we met Solé at the Waikiki location and he suggested we try his sister's location. They have the same food, but different vibe. This one is on the side of the road closes around 6 or 7, depending on the traffic. Very island life vibe. They also have a shave ice truck right next to them. I got the creamy garlic shrimp. OMG it was so yummy! I LOVED it. It's not like all the other shrimp places in the island. This is creamy and garlicky. It's not spicy. It comes with rice and even the sauce with the rice tastes sooooo good. I didn't eat the mac salad because it has shredded tuna. My bf got the Trydis Mix with the creamy garlic shrimp and bone-in short rib. He really enjoyed the meat, it was very flavorful and tender. It was grilled to perfection! The service was amazing. I don't remember her name, but Solé's (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) sister was friendly. She checked up on us to make sure everything was good. I truly can't wait to come back! The only thing is we did get blocked by some kids parking on the lot blocking the exit. We had to get out of the car and ask them to move. They saw us trying to get out, but still didn't move until we asked.
