I don't have a local guy for anything yet - including transmissions. I took a chance that the few Yelp reviews regarding transmissions were accurate and dropped into this place. Terry pulled a car off of a lift to get mine fixed up while I was waiting. He did all of this while teaching his apprentice how to pull a transmission out of a Buick. Nicest guy in the world, honest about what was wrong, didn't overcharge me, didn't make up stuff that needed to be done. Terry's one of those guys that just knows what he's doing and will bend over backwards to help you out. I got a transmission guy in Fort Worth now.

That said, the guy was really nice and I heard him on the phone with a customer being very pleasant and patient, but insisting that this guy needed to do things right for his car. He used OEM filter and gave me the old filter and sample of fluid for my examination. He also was gracious with a Lyft drive home.
