We drop off the vehicle and leave and within 30min we were called back for them to tell us it was the starter and that it would cost them $800 to fix. Knowing it's not an $800 job we brought it home and i removed the starter. Brought the starter up to an Autozone to have it bench tested and the starter is perfectly fine across all tests. Annoying I had to remove it to find that out but it is what it is. Just thought I would give a friendly warning to all of those who think about using them. Only two conclusions I can come to at this point is 1. They were trying to scam us or 2. They dont know what they are doing.

The reviews for this place are excellent and so I decided to take my Tacoma to them to get some…read morework done. The truck is fairly old so, among several other things, they quoted new shocks and strut assemblies. After getting the truck back and driving a few days back and forth to work I noticed that it always had a pronounced lean where the passenger side of the vehicle was riding several inches higher than the driver's side. After calling to confirm, Phil stated that they had done an alignment and had even verified the ride height/level. The truck was definitely leaning though so something was not right, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they showed me the issue. Fort Worth Auto Garage had installed the wrong shock and strut assemblies on one side of the vehicle. I don't believe Fort Worth Auto Garage actually did an alignment or a ride height check, because it surely would have been noticed that the incorrect parts had been installed on one side of the truck. That being said, once I confronted Phil with this information he did agree to install the correct parts so eventually it was fixed. Fort Worth Auto Garage do have reasonable prices, however they seem to be a bit sloppy with their work and they do not seem to pay close attention to details, such as part numbers.

They also did not repair it correctly the first time either. My father put marks on some parts in the vehicle to see if they would actually get replaced, and he got his vehicle returned with the marks in the same place meaning they were not replaced at all. They are very dishonest. One of the times I was there, the employees were arguing with a neighboring business over parking. The people here are not very friendly, have a dirty office and waiting area, do not repair your vehicle sometimes and are dishonest about doing so, and you will waste a lot of time here. I highly recommend spending slightly more money for way better quality of service somewhere else locally.
