He chatted with me and made me feel more at ease about my horrible situation that landed me needing a tow. I have no complaints about the driver and don't want the rest of my review to reflect his service. It was perfect. However, I have to mention that whoever answered the phone when I called (Dispatch, I believe, not a driver) was not professional. I had just been in an accident, I was very stressed out and panicky. I asked them, "Do I ride with the driver or do I need my own ride/Uber?" I thought that was a reasonable question...I've never had a tow before and I was at work. Even my driver asked me if I was riding with him or getting other transportation-I do not feel that my question warranted a joke. The man on the line responds "Nah, we just drop the truck off with you and you have to drive it home." Keep in mind I am having a panic attack and am not sensing that it's a joke so I go "Oh, okay?" and he goes "I'm kidding." Whole time, he had a tone of nonchalant sarcasm and I felt pretty bad about it. Maybe tell Dispatch to stop making jokes to troubled callers. Really distasteful.

He did try to physically push us out of the ditch and when that failed he walked away and said nothing to us. Several minutes later the dispatcher called and said his driver couldn't find us then I told him his driver was here said he didn't have chains for his tires tried to push us out then left. Then a few more minutes later Kevin called back and said his driver had to go buy a rope and would be back in 1-2 hours. then about 45 mins later a different person called and said the driver still needed to go buy this rope and some straps to safely be able to pull out my vehicle and that was going to take 4-5 more hours before he could get back to me. In the end my kind hearted neighbors pulled me out of the ditch and saved me over $400 dollars. I will never use or recommend this company ever again lesson learned!

I asked about diagnostics informing them that I had already performed my own diagnostics having owned a automotive shop in the 1990s but being 65 with disc degeneration from C3 to C7 along with my eyesight not so good anymore I needed some more capable fresh eyes on the matter with regards to the CEL & perhaps performing a smoke test & isolating a vacuum leak which was causing the Emissions system, specifically the purge circuit for the charcoal canister to fail registering with a code. I informed them that I had already ferreted it out with the TSB's & confirmed that the fuel filler neck had been replaced as per a warranty recall but that instead of a hard plastic Teflon vacuum line there was a fuel line in place which I suspect it was collapsing upon evacuation of the purge system "call". I also informed them that I had already replaced the fuel cap, the purge valve, with items from Amazon, & the dealer without the issue resolving itself. I also informed them that I had a iCarSoft along with a LAUNCH CRP, EQUUS 3140 INNOVA & an ACTRON CP9410 scanner tools & that I was able to read, clear & monitor in real time the issue with regards to the CEL. They came back & said they don't work on old cars.... Or that they quit working on cars that old a couple years ago. Which is just bullshit. If you go to their site Facebook page or otherwise, even their ad/advertisement shows a C Class, W203 car that they claim to have worked on which is exactly what my daughter's car is. They just don't want customers like me that know what they're talking about because they won't be able to take advantage of me & now they refuse to even respond to me over chat. I even gave them the chance to say just let me know that "I'm one of THOSE customers, & that you don't really wanna deal with people like me" but they're fucking cowards & therefore they're liars because they don't want to tell the truth. I wouldn't deal with liars if I were you .

I provided them with the diagnostic from Sewell, which clearly indicated that my vehicle needed a new AC condenser and both rear wheel bearings. After a week in the shop, I was informed that the AC was still not working and that my car had developed a new "screeching" noise that was not present prior to service. I later learned that instead of replacing the AC condenser, as the diagnostic indicated, they replaced the AC compressor. Great Motors then charged an additional $188 to re-diagnose the same issue, when it was their mistake that they replaced the AC compressor instead of the condenser. Their misunderstanding of the difference between these AC parts resulted in an additional hundreds of dollars!! Unfortunately, this experience left me with a car that was incorrectly repaired, unnecessary additional fees and concerns about both the accuracy of their work and accountability. While I wanted to support a local business, I cannot recommend Great Motors based on this unsatisfactory outcome.

We were initially told to give them a call an hour before, which we did. After we contacted AAA we were told the phone ahead doesn't really matter because AAA can sometimes be delayed so we told to call when we know for sure AAA is an hour out. This is confusing. If they know AAA can be delayed at any point, how can I as a customer to both AAA and Purrfect Towing know when the truck is an hour out??? Make it make sense! We called once the tow truck arrived which was within the hour in which we originally made contact and still waited more than 20- 30 minutes for someone to arrive and release the vehicle! There were two attempts, two weeks apart, by certified mail to let us know the vehicle was being charged a daily fee. This was not mentioned when we came to retrieve personal items from the vehicle almost 3 days after it arrived. Finally being contacted by insurance, we were told we were being charged daily since 5/3 and needed to move the vehicle to a different lot. The current total to move the car now is $905.24. Poor communication. We were injured in an accident that wasn't our fault. We no longer have a vehicle and the lack of empathy and compassion by the after hours team is disheartening. I hate to give a low rating because we spoke with a few people who helped prior to this encounter who were very considerate and helpful.
