    I hate Cox! And my area has no other providers! Step it up vegas! This is bs! Every month towards the end of my bill cycle on my UNLIMITED PANORAMIC WIFI PLAN. The service starts disconnecting. I'm in ft Apache and blue Diamond, I have no reception at home with our wifi and I'm self employed so it really effects me when I Can't work from home!

    This is for Cox Homelife: I ordered a new consul for my homelife once I learned I needed it to have my cox cameras record sound. Well...see the 2 photos and guess what the issue is!! NO DIMMER SWITCH to turn off the brightly lit consul at night.... Looks like that old Amazon box came in handy! Why do you suppose the techs at Cox forgot to include something so necessary for those of us who need darkness to sleep at night? COX.... Get with it!!! redesign this to add an off / on display switch

    Awful service, ignorant technicians. Don't try getting help on the phone. If you have access to another internet provider, use it!

I will still keep my At&t service until my contract expires with them next year. I got the 'works' I was offered a 'free' iPhone 16 and iPad 16 with a 3 year contract. Signed up for auto pay, so my projected bill will be around $85 a month for the two lines. I also bought all the cords, cases and extra goodies. I spent wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than I thought. I transferred my family over from AT&T including my parents. My mom's line was initially transferred THEN kicked back to AT&T so I've been charged a separate bill for her single line. Meanwhile lovely Verizon decided to charge me for an e-sim for her phone with a number we've never seen before (not hers). So I apparently paid a setup and activation fee for this ghost number. Also meanwhile, another number mysteriously appeared on my bill so I was paying an additional 2 lines, in addition to the ATT bill of my mom's I was paying separately. All the while, reception is supposedly 'best' but really sucks in the new summerlin areas (west of lake mead/ 215). I walked into the store seeking their help and the manager Taryn told me to call 611. I asked what's the difference calling in-store vs the 611 I call from home - same thing, "you might as well call from home." how's that for customer service? I've been on the line going on 3 hours for the 5th time trying to get this issue sorted out and resolved. Best of all, if I want to move back to ATT where my mom's line is, I'll have to pay $1900 to pay off devices. Oh- my trade in credits of $28 per month also mysteriously disappeared. So many stories of untold grief and inconvenience and fees caused by this place. Oh and my monthly cell phone bill went up from $145 to $400 now, and mind you, 2 lines I've never even seen or used before. But when you walk into the store they aggressively try to get you to upgrade your phone or sign up for home internet. The staff is very obviously incentivized to upsell and make a certain target of financial production each day. That's a no brainer. I really regret moving to Verizon from my previous carrier where I was having zero issues except reception (which is usually bad in new build areas).

    Yesterday I had an experience with T-Mobile that has renewed my faith in customer service. I'd gone…read moreto Cox Cable to complain about my sluggish internet. They suggested a new Modem, which I installed. Service did not improve, and they didn't seem to care. They also informed me that the promotion I'd been on for two years would expire in two weeks, bringing my monthly bill up another $30. Their lack of compassion for long time customers and the service they receive was simply depressing. A coworker suggested I go to T-Mobile; my phone service is through them. I went, they bundled my internet, phone service and phone, saving me almost $70 a month! I spoke with two different reps on two visits, they explained everything in simple terms, and gave me every discount I was entitled to. These folks might just put Cox out of business. I was so happy, why didn't I do this years ago? Plus, the price I was given is locked in for years! Unlike Cox, which goes up a dollar every few months. T-Mobile also included Hulu at no charge!! I've read other reviews on YELP, and I'll agree with one thing. When your business increases, and you continue to offer great deals, you must beef up your staff. I did not have to wait too long at either of my visits, but I purposely went on my days off. The staff was polite, they listened to my needs, and generally seemed determined to get me a great deal. Which they did. I've felt nothing but satisfied for two days, in today's economy I felt like I scored a minor financial personal victory! My internet is slightly faster also. Hopefully there will be no surprises on my first bill, I'll keep you posted.
