This is the worst cox location in all of Las Vegas. I think this location might be involved in some really shady stuff, the manager asked me to email him my social security card and more stuff to his email when he could've sent me a link where I could've done it myself on their website .. extremely weird and unnecessary to have my information in your email when he could've directed me to a link on the cox website to get it done. on top of that while I was in store I showed them a promotion on my phone the employee took my phone to show it to his managers in the back room he was gone with my phone unlocked for over 5 mins I even had to ask another employee for him to bring my phone out . From the moment you pick up the phone or walk into one of their mismanaged and poorly rated Cox Solutions Stores, you'll realize just how far behind Cox actually is. If I were to bet on Cox's chance for success, I'd first examine their two prior failures in the late 1990s and again in 2011, when they suddenly withdrew from the cellular market. In both cases, Cox left their beleaguered mobile customers to deal with the costly fallout from their failed attempts, which should make anyone wary of switching to Cox Mobile. And here's why. The agents selling Cox Mobile Services are seriously undertrained. These [mainly] offshore, barely English-speaking, contracted workers will make promises and statements they cannot maintain or keep. They won't follow through or return calls, leaving you with costly contract(s) that made no sense when they groped to answer your simple questions. Then, they will vanish, never to be heard from again. Do not try calling the Cox lines you used when you started or attempted to start your service, because all you will get is Filipino, Salvadoran, Panamanian, and Mexican mumbo-jumbo from people who are more likely to hang up on you than to answer your questions. And United States-based Cox employees will [purposely] never be able to track down Tom, Denise, and Hillary, based in Panama, El Salvador, Mexico, or the Philippines. So the promises made can not be proven or verified unless you record your conversations, as I do. Unfortunately, Cox management is also flawed in its training and unable to address your issues, just as the offshore team that sold you in the first place. The Loyalty, aka Retention Department, will also be unable to help you, primarily because they're located offshore and have little or no authority. Should you be as tenacious as I am? In which case, you will end up with Cox Escalation, located throughout the U.S. Unfortunately, these people, who have been tasked with [limited] power to resolve your problem, are either inadequately trained or don't have the brain power to comprehend the impact of a single disgruntled customer. As I learned in business early on, one unhappy customer will tell as many as 10 potential customers (and so on) not to use a particular company or service. In contrast, a satisfied customer will refer only three new customers. Cox's lack of understanding should leave potential customers unsure about its ability to address concerns, further increasing their uncertainty. From the misinformation and lack of follow-up to the unfulfilled promises, the "go elsewhere" attitude of Cox's Escalation Department, and finally the insults you will receive from people tasked to correct it all, what was once a well-run, consumer-friendly company has now developed a 'take-it-or-leave-it' attitude. The shift in Cox's attitude is a warning to new and potential customers who feel disregarded and unimportant in Cox's third attempt at the mobile market. My recommendation: Stay away from Cox Mobile Services, or face the same issues that have wasted over two weeks of my time and hundreds of my dollars. Ian is the man. I needed full WiFi installation in the new digs and he hooked it up with a next day appointment. Outstanding customer service and fast too. Ian, and a very helpful rep from Hawaii whose name I failed to obtain, had me in and out in less than 15 minutes, and on a Monday morning too. The tech who did the install named Sylvester (not Stallone) was equally impressive. Sylvester showed up early in the 2-hour window, and made sure all my devices were functioning properly before leaving. He even helped me move a giant flatscreen. Sly wore booties all the time, and asked permission before drilling a pencil-sized hole in my garage wall. So there are two takeaways from this review. 1. The T-Mobile WiFi litter box is worthless in much of Henderson, most of West Henderson, and 2. Don't trust the bad reviews on this Cox store. We purchased our home in Las Vegas, from the builder, in 2004. It is a vacation home. We don't visit Las Vegas to watch TV, so we never activated cable service. But as time progressed, it became obvious that having Wi-Fi (at least) would be convenient. I went to the Cox Communications store on Blue Diamond. The specialist (Juan) didn't waste much time. He quickly: verified my home was in Cox's service area; set up my customer profile in the Cox system; and set up an appointment for professional installation / activation of service. I had done my research before arriving, so no "selling" of product or services took place--Juan simply took my order. The installation also went smoothly. I scheduled weeks ahead and requested the first appointment of the day. On the day of the appointment, the installer called to notify me he was on the way and arrived at 8am. He arrived in a Cox branded vehicle (he was not a subcontractor). He was clean and professional in appearance and behavior. And once I showed him where equipment access was, he completed his work efficiently. This review is for my customer experience, as derived from my visit to the store on Blue Diamond. I am going to post a scathing review of the horrible customer service I received from the Cox Communications customer service call center. I have been to this location several times. On February 8th, I came in to get new home internet wifi. I received prompt excellent customer service from Ken Donovan. I had previously been to a different location and ultimately canceled my Cox in January due to frustration. That other location did not help me and treated me as if no one even cared. I expressed my concerns and frustration to Ken, and he was kind to just listen to my mini rant lol. Then I calmed down and explained what I needed. Paris, one of their technicians, welcomed me, and took care of the return that I came in with. I was in and out of the store in under 15 minutes. Treated very nicely. I will start by saying I normally do not enjoy coming here, you are here to start service or because you have issues. Most of the time the customer service person doesn't care. This time was great. There was a woman checking on you while you waited, and kept you informed of where you were in line if your name wasn't on the board. I got Paris as a CSR, she is awesome! Cox is the worst service ever. I came here to return equipment, and Ian said, "I can try and lower your bill." I am not even the authorized user on the account, I was just trying to help my mother in law because she is getting jerked around with really high bills. What is this "homelife" service that one must have in order to lower your bill. We don't want security. She is 78 years old and wouldn't know how to use it anyway. Ian said the bill would lower for $4 for 2 months than go down after that, like $10 or $20 bucks. It makes no sense to have to get a camera we aren't even going to use. I called my mother-in-law on the phone and said I could lower your bill $4 and then it would go down $10. Is that okay? She said yes. Ian was so excited and ran and got the camera for me, which I didn't want. I walked out thinking I made a difference and my mother-in-law would be happy. The bill came, and she got locked into a 12-month contract and a $20 per month charge for four or five months. Her bill was $273, and she doesn't even have any movie channels i and a box that doesn't work or record. Now I'm having to file a complaint because I'm not the authorized user, and Ian swears that he told me this, but he didn't he's a liar! Cox should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of senior citizens and all of its customers. How rich do you need to be Cox! If anyone has an opportunity not to be with Cox, I would definitely go with them. I can't wait to find another company to sign my mother-in-law up for. Zero Stars. Sadly, for the longest time, they were the only high speed provider in my area. However, "Verizon 5G Home" is now available. Instead of paying Cox $160 a month for 250mbps(unlimited download), I can finally dump them and go with Verizon for $50 a month (with autopay) 300mbps(unlimited download). Not sure how they kept this monopoly over the decades I've lived here, but everyone should be aware that we now have alternatives! yay! PS: they'll ALWAYS try to upgrade you to faster and faster internet speeds even though it only takes 25mbps to stream 4k shows. read more

My first time to this location and they have it set up nicely. iPad up front to sign in and then you can have a seat on one of the many couches while you wait. The names are displayed on a big screen to see where you are in line. Many of their home options, equipment are displayed for you to look at while waiting. Very welcoming staff, greeted with a handshake and if you have any equipment they carry it for you. I came in today to inquire about saving some $$$ from my monthly bill and I was able to increase my current internet speed to the next level for $5 more while saving $20+ from my current monthly bill. We had upgraded and downgraded our bundle package several times due to lack of understanding to meet our family needs. From TV to Internet to home phone to home security system, we have tried different packages and still not happy with it. I am glad I met Paris in the store this time. She was informative, professional and friendly. She guides me on what I best need and assisted me with the changes. She took her time and made sure I have all my questions answered. Went to Cox the other day to remove my cable plan and I was not in a good mood. Ian helped me and completely changed my mood. He removed an "installation fee" because nothing was "installed" and actually got me to buy a phone and switch from T-Mobile to Cox wireless. It ended up saving me a lot of money and I left with a a huge smile on my face. Ian is awesome, I never thought I would be happy about spending more money (on the phone) but considering the massive monthly savings with the wireless plan, it's a great deal. I had to repeat answers several times as her questions did not address my concerns and neither did she. I hate Cox. We have internet for a residential and a business within 3 miles of each other. But there's "outages" in our area so my internet has not worked for more than 2 hours at a time for the past 2 weeks. But weird how he business never experienced these "outages" though it's 3 miles away. This is unacceptable, literally unheard of. I stream so a reliable internet is very important but it disconnects EVERY DAY at least 5 times a day. Why am I paying $99? We also pay $8 a month for THEIR MODEUM THEY RECOMMENDED but it seems that 7 months into having the plan they are finally offering to send a tech out. However they tried to scam me into trying to tell me it's $60 to send a tech. FOR WHAT? This business is a joke. It's shitty because they're the biggest internet provider in the area and now we're in a contract. I can't even connect to WiFi on my phone and this review will probably take a full minute to post since I have no WiFi. I hate you Cox. read more

Thank you Ken!!! We live in a bulk apartment that supplies free cable and Wi_Fi through COX, but of course we upgraded our Wi_Fi and upgraded our cable with a DVR. We were having issues with the Wi_Fi that no one could figure out and Ken figured out what our issue was super quick, he set up an appointment for an installer to come out and fix our issues at no cost to us ($100 savings) and he explained why so many things were just not working as they should. He's incredibly knowledge and friendly. I was so frustrated with how things were going previously I was ready to cancel all the free stuff, give back the equipment and go elsewhere, but Ken saved the day! read more

I had better, faster, and more reliable service in rural Alaska at a fraction of the cost than the absolute atrocity that I have experienced with COX the last several months. To say I have had intermittent service would be an overstatement, Yet, despite known challenges in service there has been zero sense of urgency in rectifying the issue with consistent connectivity. I guess when you monopolize an entire area you can get away with substandard service. I moved from Alaska - I was expected to live in the land of modern technology and all I get is substandard service, products, and apathy. I walked into the Blue Diamond store, the "greeter" was on the phone waving me in and silently pointing at the screen to "log in" she whispered "your name". I said "I know what to do" get back to your call" . I typed the first two initials and a male agent yelled across the store "I take you here sir!" I looked at me and again yelled I'll help you here. I walked over to him only to have the "greeter" Call out "Sir you have to log in" waving me back! The male said "I got it, I'll help him" Greeter shrugged her shoulders. Now off the phone she began greeting people correctly. The male agent listened to my ask for assistance on the ACP program but apparently did not know enough. I asked for the store Manager and a short time later she came out "I am the store manager" I had to ask for her name. She then began to educate me on the ACP program, assuming I knew nothing. I stopped her telling her I know I have the documents and approval number, I have also spoken to Cox Corporate, training and multiple other Cox reps, and have repeatedly told. GO TO A STORE! GIVE THEM YOUR INFO and they will help you. The Manager repeated herself saying "No can not be done it has to be done on line" I asked for a District Manager. I quote Brianna Valdivia Store Manager. " No you have to talk to me, or email me first, you will not talk to the manager" I then asked her give him or her my number have them call me. Same response - "No you can not talk to the manager".
