$220 charge for moving out with no contract or notice of any termination fee when my apartment advertised "free internet included." Upon moving to apartment, I immediately sought a competitor. Anyone but Bel Air Internet Connect, or BAI connect. On top of constantly throttling internet or trying to say they were using a "dedicated connection." Tell that to my 12 mbps download speed through the month of January and February during peak hours. I work remote and require untapped and unfettered internet speeds, and consistency is what this provider lacks. This is the worst service provider I've ever had the displeasure of contacting, and that's saying a lot. You just lost a customer, Bel Air (you're not in Bel Air BTW). I needed to get existing DirecTV service reactivated for my Mom's move from an old unit to a new unit in the SAME apartment building and update her billing address. Simple, right? I first called DirecTV and after explaining this very simple request to DirecTV, I was transferred by DirecTV to Bel Air to handle this because I guess they outsource the service and support for the Las Vegas market to this failure of an outfit. The first Bel Air guy (Vince) was new or incompetent or both. After 50 minutes on the phone, he transferred me to the Billing dept. to update her address (literally a different unit # at the same address) and reactivate the service in the new unit. Transfer failed and I was disconnected! I called back and the next guy (Anthony) seemed to know what he was doing, but then told me the Sales dept. needed to reactivate the account because they handle moves (upsell opportunity I was not interested in). Gave me the main phone number as the number for Sales. I told him that is the main number I had just called to get to Support. He said "I guess they changed the number for Sales dept". Transferred me to Sales (which was the main phone number with the same phone tree choices) and guess what happened?!?! Yep, call was disconnected again. I called for the last time. Pressed the applicable number for Sales and (you know what happened next) the call failed I was disconnected for the final time. You cannot even get to Sales! Their phone tree (yes, I know how these systems work) is all screwed up and you cannot get to the people who are supposed to work there to sign-up new customers or service existing ones. Horrible company. They have been charging me $5.95 a month for "service protection" for Direct TV Since 2016 and I have not had an account with Direct TV at all. Direct TV confirmed that I do not have an account with them yet Bel Air claims I signed a contract with Direct TV that I never canceled so they have charged my CC for 3.5 years. They are now giving me the run around and telling me it is my responsibility to prove that I do not have a Direct TV account. Their supervisors are not helpful and pass you from one department to another. They tell you they will call back and never do. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this company. I have been working with Ricky at Bel Air internet for the past two weeks. This is not my first rodeo when it comes to internet providers. However I am very happy to say that this is BY FAR the best experience I have ever had. Yup. That's 5 bright red stars up there... for an internet company! Verizon, Time Warner, Comcast, Frontier? All get a huge "boo" in my book. Ricky in particular has been incredible; helping me to set up service and being there through to the end of the set up process to make sure that everything has been taking care of. AVOID if you have any alternative. In my building they are "preferred vendor" for DIRECTV so in October I had a system installed with main receiver and two wireless genies. This install involved a wireless bridge to send signal from main receiver to the two bedrooms. My apartment is pretty large but WAY smaller than my other home which has EXACTLY the same setup. After the installation the tech said "because the apartment is large, you may experience slight delay when changing channels or calling up the guide' Not a big deal. Reality. The genies freeze all the time and even though I pay a monthly maintenance fee to BELAIR they will NOT HELP. They refuse to send anyone for a service visit, on the phone they suggest a reset or calling a local AV guy to run extra wiring to hard wire the apartment. I repeat my other home is larger and I have ZERO issues. When I research online, DIRECTV recommend that the wireless bridge is not close to receiver, BELAIR installed it where? ON TOP OF RECEIVER, but refuse to come and move it. My last phone call today ended with the guy on the phone saying 'we can not help you'. I am astonished that a company who refuses a service visit can even exist in the world today. Today I had one of the worst experiences I have had having service in my condo in downtown LA. I reported problems with my Direct TV early in the week and scheduled a service call for 8/19/2022. The service tech and customer service rep arrived at 9:30- they determined I needed a new receiver. After 11 calls between Direct TV and Bel Air Internet the BAI sales manager called me after 1230p.m. and indicated that they could not correct my account between the 2 companies and could not activate the new receiver. She said she had to send the service tech to other service stops. I insisted that I call Direct TV sales and try and resolve the issue. She gave me a difficult time. After numerous calls I was able to resolve the issue and after 2:00 p.m. my service was restored. If not for service tech Alex Rodriguez I would have had to schedule another service call. His patience, professionalism, and customer service orientation need to elevate to the management of the company. I came very close to cancelling my Direct TV, Wi-Fi, and land line. read more

The worst customer service. Wanted to upgrade my service and was going to be charged an additional service fee to have a box delivered. Cancelled after three days and still being charged for protection services 4 months later. Spoke to their accounting department and he told me he removed all fees when I originally cancelled. I must say that I have had incredibly positive experiences with support of my Directv from Bel Air. They are contracted with my condo complex and have been very helpful and responsive. My neighbor and I share one dish and rely on the same equipment. It recently went bad and our tv's were pixelating making tv almost impossible to enjoy. We are both disabled and rely on television. Bel Air had a technician out in hours and the equipment was repaired. Unlike other cable or internet providers, Bel Air has offices in Nevada and California and they answer their phones during business hours. No systems of codes or recordings....people who want to help. I am truly appreciative of the customer care. Now.....if only they had internet services here in Las Vegas, life would be simpler and much happier. We need more Bel Air services in Vegas, please! bel air was the required intermediary between direct tv and our multi-unit building many years ago when it was built and i moved in. i use bel air for my television needs. they were and have consistently been excellent in their service both on the phone and rare occasions when i needed a service person to come to my home. today, axel, was the service person who arrived and was right on time, took care to be totally considerate with his shoes and equipment, listened to my "very non technical" tale of woe re my problem, a-n-d fixed it in a few minutes. it was an extremely unusual problem one would not think of in my opinion, but he knew and it was done and i, to say the least, was totally impressed, as i have been as i said above with bel air and their employees. thank you, axel. r. walker!!! read more

I was a bit upset with Directv having to go through a second party for my install, but Mitchell really helped me out. He ensured I got the best service possible and really explained the whole situation on how DIRECTV has company's who install for them and how the fees worked. He had me on a conference call with a manager from Directv trying to get me some type of credit for having to pay out of pocket. Even though we weren't able to, Mitchell did get me a discount on my install so shoutout to his manager Rick appreciate it! I just moved into a high rise and was interested in buying DirectTV. I went to Costco (they offer a $200 gift card when you sign up there), and they quoted me a plan and certain prices, but was then told that there was an issue and I needed to call DirectTV directly. Called DirectTV, and they priced me out the exact same (plus the refer-a-friend $50 promotion), but told me since I live in a Multiple Dwelling Unit, Bel Air Internet is the exclusive provider and I have to go through them. Called them everyday for a week on my way to work in the morning. They usually did not answer, and the two times they did, I was on hold for over 15 minutes that I just hung up when I got to work. They called me back maybe twice hours later which I could not answer, and when I would call back, same story and no answer. This was an unfortunate cycle as they are not open for calls on the weekends. When I finally was able to speak to someone, they quoted me atypical numbers from what I was told by Costco and DirectTV. Additionally, they would not offer the refer-a-friend promotion and said I would be charged for installation of $100 for the genie which I was specifically told would be free by the other two companies. I asked to speak to a supervisor (again was on hold for about 15 minutes), and the supervisor was rude and was indifferent to my discussions. She said they are not required to honor the new customer promotions of DirectTV. I said well "you're about to lose a customer" and she said "oh well." Unfortunately, my building only offers DirectTV and when I grew impatient of not having television for two weeks, I succumbed to the terrible customer service and called back to purchase the overpriced plan from a company that I terribly did not want to give my business. However, they have a stronghold on my building and they know it, so I was left with no other choice. That being said, Mario was the technician who came to my place. He was professional, courteous, and punctual. But I do not recommend Bel Air Internet if you have the choice. read more

I recently moved into a high rise in Las Vegas and contacted Bel Air to install Directv. The technician arrived and ascertained that the building was only wired above the 20th floor by the previous installation provider. We are on the 11th floor. Mario, the tech was timely, professional and apologetic and said that the wiring would have to be completed before Directv could be installed. This turned out to be a much larger project then anticipated. When the project was completed the installation was performed by Ken and Damian who professional, timely and extremely competent. The installation was completed in a very efficient manner. I cannot rave enough about the Ken, Damien and Mario who were here. I am extremely pleased with Bel Air. . read more
