First of all I really want to say thank you to the gentleman that helped me. I was looking for a case and screen protector for a replacement phone, nothing fancy just clear and a screen protector. I was going to just grab and go but when a no frills case and whatever screen protector was added up it was over 170 dollars. 1 Star -- Deceptive Sales Tactics + Unethical Management = Verizon Corporate, Please Investigate I'm writing this in hopes that Verizon Corporate steps in to review the unethical practices happening at this location specifically under General Manager Larry. What was supposed to be a simple device upgrade turned into a misleading and financially damaging experience. Larry claimed that accessories were included with the upgrade, but instead, he throws onto our phone as many accessories as possible (1 phone case, 2 screen protectors on front, and 1 on back cameras) onto the invoice when I was assured the items are free and included but still proceeds to charge without clear disclosure of any "extra package" or approval completely altering the agreed-upon deal. Even worse, we later discovered that the original phone on the account hadn't even been paid off, something we were told would be taken care of during the upgrade process. The money that went toward all the padded accessories could have covered the cost of buying out the original phone and more! but instead it was wasted on unnecessary add-ons we didn't ask for. When we returned to resolve the issue, Larry was defensive, constantly interrupted us, and refused to accept any responsibility. He eventually issued a partial refund, but still refused to remove nearly $100 in "setup" and "Go" fees even though he didn't set up a single device us. I personally completed the setup for the phone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Fyi you can get all of these refunded if necessary with Verizon customer service on the phone! He claimed the fees were standard, but I've confirmed with other Verizon reps that this is simply not true. This entire experience was a case of deception, manipulation, and disrespect. I've been a loyal Verizon customer and expected transparency and integrity! This store provided the exact opposite. Corporate needs to be made aware. Customers should not be misled, overcharged, and dismissed. I strongly urge Verizon to investigate this Southern Highlands store location and hold leadership accountable. read more

I hope Verizon customer service can see this. My wife and I went in to the Southern Highlands location. On Sept. 25, 2025 at 5:30 in the evening to upgrade our phones. She was able to get the new Google 10 Pro. The guy was polite and quick. He was in training he told us. I went to get a iPhone 17 Pro Max. The store only had the orange color. I ordered the dark blue. I was told it would be about 3 weeks for it to come in to the store & they could hold it for a week before they would mark it available to be sold (if I didn't pick it up). On Tuesday (Oct.21) I got a text from Verizon saying my phone was delivered. I also got a text from Ghiman (an employee) in the afternoon saying it was ready to be picked up. I was unable to make it before the store closed due to work. I went Friday afternoon to pick it up and was made to wait over a hour while they looked for it. I was informed that it wasn't there, but I could get a silver one (that had people's names and order info). I was also told I could talk to Ghiman who texted me the next day. I called the number listed for the location Saturday morning and was sent to a call center. I kept asking if I could talk to someone at the actual store and the gal kept insisting she could help me. Finally when I told her what was going on and the name of who texted me did she finally transfer me. Ghiman told me that someone must have sold the phone and even said "It is what it is. Nothing he could do". He said they could only hold the phone for 4 days. I pointed out I went in the third day and it was gone. I asked if I could reorder the phone over our phone call and he said he could, but if someone came into the location he would have to hang up on me. He said I needed to drive in and possibly wait again just to order. This is the rudest and most unprofessional customer service from multiple employees that I have ever received. I will be driving further just to go to another location for help. This place is a nightmare. read more

Was in the store to get a new 15 pro max as mine was stolen the night before. Was met with a female employee ( can't remember her name but she was Asian ) I had told her I needed a new phone given the situation and that I am heading back to AZ in a few days. I get the case / screen protector for the device because I know they don't like you leaving the store without your accessories ( I worked at a phone store for 5 years & it's dumb but it is what it is ) so she then proceeds to tell me that I have a FREE line eligible on my account. Now I understand what it's like selling phones; you need to hit quotas. So I agreed and let her put the FREE line on my account. Turns out it was NOT free and she is now charging a whole line + 3 Disney upgrade plans on my account thinking I wouldn't notice ? These type of stores are the ones that do not last long and lose business very fast. Whoever implemented that selling tactic into their employees heads; deserves to stub their toe. We all work past 5/6pm and he was supposed to leave at 6pm. We got there around 5:30pm and he stayed until all three phones were activated, and had screen protectors. I ordered a new phone, 14 pro max, and Grace explained they didn't have any in store so if I wanted it then I can place an order. I asked how long it will take and she says it will be here by 11/4. We went ahead and placed the order. Grace got in touch with me yesterday (10/28) saying my new phone is at the store ready to be activated. We got there and both Grace and AJ were helping other customers. I told my daughter to go be with her family who were at Baskin Robbins next door so she can have ice cream with her baby. Anyway, AJ finished up first and was kind to assist me. I was super happy with my new phone. In the past it was my kids who upgraded and I take their old phones. But my XR was really having issues so I decided to take the plunge and get the latest model. Was a birthday gift to myself! Anyways, I left the store around 2pm and about an hour or so later I got in touch with Grace because my son in law looked at our billing and boy was he surprised to see his Iphone 13 pro max was not paid off. Well this was a painful experience picking up a phone ordered online with Verizon. Don't expect curbside pickup due to short staffing. Problem between Victra & Verizon led to rep needing management approvals & lots of back and forth for over 30 minutes. Then she said the new iphones don't come with adaptors (true) and that I might need to purchase one because charging system all changed (not true). So I paid $43 for an adaptor I didn't end up needing and had to return it another day. read more

That is until I woke up and my phone was completely unresponsive and repeatedly shut down and restarted on its own. After I got off work I headed to the Verizon store off of Rainbow and in Town Square to which they both had closed early with no notice on the doors as to why. None of the Verizon stores have a personal store phone except for this location in Southern Highlands. The employee named John answered the phone and assured me we would be able to work something out, after examining the phone we decided to upgrade to the 13 pro max. John was extremely helpful and set everything up in a very timely manner and was very knowledgeable about his job. After some time and setup I now have a working phone with new accessories.
