Black sesame latte with almond milk and maple syrup
    Autumn M.

The black sesame latte is the worst imaginable. For any first timers to black sesame, or experienced for that matter, do not ever order their black sesame latte. I had high hopes because it mentioned maple syrup. I called ahead of time to ask if they make the black sesame paste in house. There is barely any black sesame flavor -borderline chemical and dirt tasting -it is almost undrinkable. I have not tried their other offerings, but because I am so turned off by this, I probably won't unless I am in the area and there is nothing else. It looks cool though! Taste execution is a zero however.

Iced latte I forgot what kind but it's on the menu on the top. I asked for oat milk. Love it 10/10

I almost Don't want to review this place because it is so good and I want to keep it to myself. 10/10 for the honey coffee and they have oat milk which I love they put a cream top on it and it was AMAZING. Super nice people, this is not a Starbucks so don't expect anything fast, this is a leisure cafe. Love it here the vibes inside are immaculate employees are super nice 10/10.

I loved their drink selection--they offer wine, cider, and beer alongside standard coffee. Their food menu is also solid, featuring sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and pastries. We visited on a Thursday morning & it was surprisingly packed; every table was full. We managed to snag a spot in the middle, but the space felt very cramped. We were so close to the next table that we could hear their entire conversation, which wasn't ideal. My friend enjoyed the club sandwich, which came with a side of tater tots. We both tried the hibiscus iced tea--it was refreshing, but I have to admit it was a bit lacking in flavor. They have a cool selection of games, plushies, shirts, and coffee beans for sale. The back lot is extremely small. Plan on finding street parking. Arrive very early to beat the crowds! Overall, It's a fun place to hang out and I'd likely stop by again if I'm in the area, though the close quarters are something to keep in mind. IG @balicookingadventures

5* Coffee 5* Service…read more4* Ambiance A minimalist coffee space that truly hits all the right notes. From the moment you walk in, the focus on quality can't be missed. The beans are perfectly roasted, and there's a clear attention to technique behind every cup. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of classic favorites alongside a few creative, well-executed specialty drinks. Food options such as burritos and acai is also available. This Chatsworth coffee house could easily be overlooked in the SFV, but it absolutely deserves a spot on your radar. It's the kind of place that quietly delivers excellnce without needing to overstate it. We ordered the lavender latte and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. The balance was spot on; just the right touch of sweetness, with the lavender delicately infused so it complemented rather than overpowered the espresso and milk. Smooht, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or looking to enjoy a thoughtfully crafted drink, this spot delivers with consistency and care. A hidden gem worth seeking out again and again.

It's an ideal Café - nice people ( employees and customers ), a simple menu, a clean look, and good service. We grabbed a hot Salted Butterscotch Oatmilk Latte, an iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, and a Cortado. All three were fan-flavor-tastic with great aromatics. The sandwich selection was simple but appetizing: Egg Salad, Turkey & Cheese, and Mortadella with Pesto and Mozzarella. The lady at the counter suggested the Turkey, but once my wife saw the Mortadella offering, it was a closed deal. Their sandwiches are made in house, built with good proportions. The proteins in all three were generous while the bread was hearty and fluffy. Just the right amount of sprouted greens, dressing, and cheese for the mortadella. Grabbed an egg sandwich to go. Prices were fair and comparable, quality was high, and the customer service was pleasant and conversational. Coming back here again.

You place your order, get your number, and then find a seat while you wait for your food. They have a great selection of meals to choose from, including plenty of breakfast options if you're a breakfast lover like me. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is nice, but keep in mind it's a very popular spot so it can get pretty busy and a little loud. The food has been delicious every time I've come, and one of my favorite things is their fresh-squeezed orange juice. It's so refreshing and pairs perfectly with any meal.

I've never been to a Claudines before and was excited to try after reading all the Yelp reviews. On arrival Mark is standing at the door greeting everyone and he is very friendly explaining how everything works, you can take a menu and either sit to think or go straight to stand in line to order. The line moved a little slowly for ordering because there was only one person at the register but that was ok because it gives you time to stare at the beautiful pastries to decide which one you want. After ordering they give you a table number, and it has a QR code attached to it in case you want to order anything else, they will bring it right to your table. I orderd the Zs Fried Chicken Sandwich which comes with russet wedges, a guava rose strawberry cooler, and a slice of passionfruit raspberry coffee cake. My chicken sandwich was delicious but unfortunately not very spicy at all and a little over cooked so the edges were burnt. I picked off the edges and I added the Hot Sauce by Claudine which made it taste allot better. The russet wedges were perfect so crunchy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. The refresher is self served at the corner counter and it is very refreshing. I mixed mine half with the drink and half with water which came out perfect to my taste. For my dessert wow the slice of passion fruit raspberry coffee cake was generous and thick. I loved the soft moist consistency of the cake, and that it is not too sweet. As I was eating, I kept hearing this dinging noise over and over. I thought it's an annoying customer with their phone too loud, but I realize I think it's from the ordering area. I'm not sure if the noise signifies food is ready or something but it's pretty annoying after a while. The ding sound is a gentle sound but after you notice that it's going off so many times you can't stop noticing it. Whatever it is they should turn if off. I cannot wait to come back and try some of the other pastries in the future!

There are also a small variety of baked goods (croissants, muffins, etc), cold, hot and coffee drinks. It is also a Christian religious book store, that has other gift items for purchase. The dining areas are spacious and encompass both comfortable outdoor and indoor spaces. I happened to get there after the breakfast cut off (11 am), so I had to choose from the lunch menu. My choice was the classic cheeseburger (Angus beef patty, shredded lettuce, tomato, house pickle, onion, cheddar, 1,000 island, brioche bread) at $10.50, with fries (additional $4.50). The burger was well prepared, juicy, not over cooked, tasty and skillfully constructed. What stood out was the thick fresh moist tomato that imparted flavor with every bite. The fries were over priced and a disappointment. Same for the service, which was hurried, indifferent and in need of more refinement. Otherwise, a nice place, different type of ambiance, that is both bright, relaxing and peaceful.
