food is so tasty, something about a big plate of mexican food and a margarita (if done right) always makes the day better! the queso fundido is heavy on the chorizo, not much queso, but so so good! could be a meal in itself. service is fast; everyone helps everyone it's cool. Fantastic Mexican food. Very clean restaurant. The complimentary chips and salsa were obviously fresh, and the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the al pastor tacos, and I am a huge fan. Stopped by on a whim yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and delicious. The chips and salsa were fresh. I had the tacos de carne asada & the SO had tacos al Pastor. I come from Texas so obviously my standards for Mexican food are pretty high. That said, I wanted to genuinely like this place and when I walked in, the place seemed to hold promise. However the food was disappointing. Our food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. This is not an exaggeration. This can be a good thing if your food seems to have been freshly cooked. The food was decent, the presentation was sad, I ordered nachos supreme and was greeted by a single slice of tomato atop a mountain of lettuce. My boyfriend ordered nachos as well, however his was garnished with two long dark hairs. Upon telling our server he acted frantic and instead of discussing how we would like to resolve this he went to the back and brought another one, despite both of our appetites subsiding at this point. His replacement nachos were smaller than his original so not really the best fix. The appetizer sampler we ordered was incredibly depressing, 3 mozzarella sticks, 3 chicken tenders, 3 mini quesadilla slices, for $11! New Mexican restaurant in Green Bay is fantastic. Ambience has a cool vibe with a great bar, our waiter was Jose and he was so friendly and funny, the owner came over to chat and make sure we were happy with our service and meal. Food was authentic and all is made in-house, except for the tortillas. I had the sample platter so I could try several items. Everything was tasty and plentiful. Beans and rice were delish. Ended up coming home with leftovers! The others had fajita rancheras, which smelled amazing and they loved them, enough for leftovers even for big eaters. Stopped here on our way home from the Northwoods. We had a van load of kids, and they easily accommodated us. Service was friendly, and everything we had was freshly made and had great flavor. For the most part it was authentic. My husband is Mexican and he liked it as well. If I'm back in the area, I would eat again. Great food, just not 5 star good. However, I live near Chicago, so I have much more options. If not, maybe I would consider this a 5 star. read more

First Mexican place I've tried in the area, nothing really bad to say. We went on a Friday and every table was full so I'm assuming it's popular. I've just had better Mexican food than this, but overall it was pretty good. Oshkosh may just have a limited range of Mexican food. You receive free chips, salsa, and a mixture of mayo/ranch (which was interesting to me). The chips are okay, still looking for Mexican place in Oshkosh with homemade chips. The salsa was very good though, nice and fresh. I was indifferent about the ranch/mayo sauce, but it seemed a lot of people enjoy it. We got margaritas and those were very good, and reasonably priced- fairly cheap. We only got mediums, but the large margaritas here looked huge! I saw others with them and would definitely order that instead because the price difference was only like a dollar or two. We tried the queso fundido. It was served in a bowl instead of a skillet. I've never seen it served like that, because the bowl wasn't as shallow as a typical dish queso fundido is served in, it looked like soup. But the dish itself tasted good and I was happy with it. For dinner, I got steak tacos. They made them authentic which is how I like them- just onion and cilantro. They were pretty good, steak was cooked nicely and good portion for getting 2 tacos in the dinner. Usually I see 3 tacos in a dinner but my 2 was plenty. I did think it was a little ridiculous that an extra taco cost $3 when my entire dinner was $8.99. My group also tried a chimichanga. I was told that it was good but it was kind of small compared to a typical Mexican restaurant chimichanga. Especially since it's like a tex-mex dish covered in queso, usually those entrees are huge. The rice and beans were typical, no surprises there. Overall, good experience but not the best Mexican I've had. I'd rather go to a place that's more authentic or more Tex-Mex focused. This place just falls in the middle somewhere. read more

Cozumel is our go-to when we're in the mood for Mexican! Dine-in or take-out, both have been great. Anytime we order take-out it's ready in a flash, and they send chips and salsa too! I've only tried pork dishes because the pork is so good I can't bring myself to order anything else so I highly recommend the pork (carnitas) read more
