The presentation was also nice. My husband had some kind of pork taco that was also very good. I know this is an authentic Mexican place but the salsa was very very watery. I like a thicker consistency personally. The margarita I got was really good as well. As far as the place itself, the seating is definitely from the last restaurant that was there, it's very worn. The music was really loud, too loud, and the lighting was extremely bright for dinner time. Not nearly the aesthetic of some of the Mexican places in Appleton. The place was dead. Two people at the bar and another table of people eating, not what you'd expect at dinner time. This is surprising as the food was really good. Not sure we will be back any time soon due to the atmosphere not being very relaxing. Maybe they will upgrade the place over time. The other option I always order when here is a variation of different wings that they make. They have a full pool table, a dart machine, and a nice side small patio outside. The bathrooms are very small and cramped, but usually pretty clean. Unlike many other dive bars in this town, this one everyone is and does feel welcome here with the friendly service and atmosphere of the regular customers.
