We saw there were a few table so we decided to try it with the intention to be quick. Boy am I glad we did! Started with the sunrise juice, a carrot juice blend and the homemade strawberry lemonade both were so fresh and delicious. We tried the brown sugar and cinnamon pop tart and that was heaven in my mouth. So much flavor and goodness. I ordered the limoncello French toast and it is a slice of fresh baked lemon bread made into French toast. The flavors were rich and the texture was fluffy. A must try while it's in season. Others got the turkey and avocado Benedict and the pancakes with eggs and bacon. All cooked to perfection. Our server Jess was so nice and we did tip her well for being so last minute, but to our credit we were out of there at 6 mins after closing while everyone was still working to close up. I try to not show up late but this one was so worth it!!

Its fine on a nice day, but sucks if its extra warm or super cold. I know this isnt the fault of the restaurant, but the building owners . The ambiqnce is fine, if its busy it get a little louder than I'd like. Maybe some strategically placed sound dampening tiles? I get the industrial look, but with the concrete floors, its a bit of an echo chandler when itw busy.

They make it clear that the $12-15 sandwiches do not come with sides unless you order the baskets. So sides are all in addition to the prices on the burgers. So it makes it a bit more expensive and for me $20 for a burger and fries is on the high side for anywhere in or around the metro. The service was good and as the crowd began to die down we ordered a second round. Though I feel the prices for stand alone sandwiches are high, at least the ones we had and the ones we saw delivered to other tables were pretty generous in size and the ingredients seemed fresh. All in all a pretty decent experience. If you are looking for a well made sandwich, in Grimes this seems like a good place to find it.

This dish also includes two sides. I got the fried okra and goat cheese grits. Fried okra was good, around thirty percent breading that makes a nice savory balance. The grits were creamy and smooth. I think I would come again if I was looking for heavy southern. There were a lot of classic options to choose from that I could not try this time around. Though I would still be concerned with the wait involved.

Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, obviously handmade cooked to order fresh...not the frozen drop in the fryer type you find in so many restaurants these days. Fries were crinkle cut crisp lots of ridges for flavor spikes. At the same meal we had the Cozy Breakfast Special, two eggs, crisp on both sides a meaty potato flavor inside order of hash browns, two giant link sausage, two slices of whole wheat toast buttered edge to edge.Wow homage all the way. We had a Tenderloin Sandwich and Patty Sausage, Hash Browns, toast & Eggs scrambled soft...seems like a hard thing to do in a lot of Breakfast places, not here they got it right! Cozy Cafe has a great and friendly staff, It takes only going there once and they make you feel like family and want you to come back. Food is fast and taste amazing. They had a car show going on which the kids love. I recommend this place to anyone. Breakfest and lunch is great and specials everyday. Also have free Pie on Wednesdays. read more

I am a huge fan of Cozy Café. My husband and I love to go here after seeing a movie. The food is always the best and you can't beat the prices. Triple B's partners with a few of the different school districts as well as Goodwill and Best Buddies to employ around 30 people with special needs. It not only gives teens and young adults with special needs a chance to enter into, and participate, in it's workforce... The restaurant caters to families with special needs children as a safe space where they aren't looked at differently. It's their world...we're just sharing their table for a few minutes. Parking is plentiful and we had no issues. We were greeted shortly after we walked in and seated towards the East end of the restaurant. Denny was up front along with Brenden. Seating is a mix of high top and low top tables and chairs along with a few bench, table, and chair combos along the walls. The daily hours vary some so check out their online presence's posted hours to make sure they are open when planning your visit. The menu is extensive! Offering everything from breakfast and BBQ, to sandwiches, pizzas and baked goods, and even ice cream deserts. There is a large menu board above the front counter. For dine-in ordering and payment is done via standard table service with your server. They also offer take-out ordering online through their site via skytab. Pay attention to their weekly/daily specials! We ordered the following: 2x Fountain drinks (Pepsi products) 1x 1/4 lb of beef burnt ends 1x 2 meat platter with pork ribs, pork burnt ends, cucumbers and onions, and mac n cheese. This was served with a small slice of cornbread 1x complimentary cinnamon roll Be aware the yellow and red squeeze bottles on the table are not ketchup and mustard. They're their two house BBQ sauces. One traditional (yellow) and one a little more spicy (red). I really liked both my sides! They were fantastic. The mac and cheese was hot and gooey. The cucumbers and onions were crisp and fresh. The meats all had good flavor. But maybe they were having a little bit of an off day...? The burnt ends dry were a drier than I prefer. The same with the cornbread and cinnamon roll. The ribs were better but still a little dry. Don't get me wrong... I cleaned my plate! I just used a little more BBQ sauce than I normally do. It's a personal preference and it really just might have been the day... That happens with BBQ. I would strongly encourage you to try it for yourself, but I want to be transparent in my experience. Our service was wonderful. The woman who seated and served us did a stellar job (Brenden's mom I think). One of the gentlemen working tables stopped by our table for a visit. Great kid with an even greater smile! Even with a bump or two. I'm already planning my next trip back to Triple B's to try their breakfast and their brisket cheesesteak...
