I work at a Catholic School in Union and today was Teacher Appreciation Day! The HSA was kind enough to provide us with breakfast, and it was catered by Cozy Corner. The food was delicious, the eggs were fresh and the bacon and sausage were cooked to perfection. Dont know how i've never been to this place cause i've lived in union for a very long time but glad my friend recommended it to me. This place has your typical deli / diner food and for the price I think you are getting good quality food, plus they deliver which is a big plus. Customer service was execellent and the woman on the phone was extremely polite. I ordered breakfsat which was delivered in a reasonable time. 2 eggs and cheese on a croissant and home fries which were very good, with delivery the meal was under 10 dollars. Can't really beat that. Croissant was sweet but not too sweet and eggs were scramabled. Kinda hard to mess up a egg and cheese croissant but it has happend to me before. Home fries had a little bit of spice to them which i really liked. I have a obession with looking at menus and food pics so while i'm eating my breakfast i'm still looking at the menu and pics on yelp (yes i know I have issues)., which built my curisoity for other things on the menu So I decided to order lunch from here also. I ordered the cheeseburger and wings. The california cheeseburger was seasoned well and was not too dry. I loved breaded wings and these are not the best i've had but defintely worth the price. I got the wings dry with sauce on the side. With and without the sauce, the wings tasted really good. Again, the food was delivered in a reasonable time. From the outside it looked like a liquor store. But once we came in there was such a nice vibe from the employees. Our server Mike was very nice and talkative. My wife and 2 daughters visited Cozy and liked the catering menu for our daughter's birthday party. The party was for 80 people. We heard a few good things about Cozy so we decided to give it a shot. First of all, we were helped by Sierra. She was not only friendly but she was helpful and when she did not have the answer to something, she looked for the answer. The food was delivered on time and the one who delivered was friendly and professional. Now, the food. I wanted to lie to the guests and say we cooked the food because they were raving and told us how delicious the food was especially the sausage and peppers. Let me first say that I along with my coworkers have ordered from this place many a times. Today I ordered a chicken cutlet BLT sandwich with avocado and a side of fries. My total came to $12 and some change after tax and a delivery charge. I thought it was a little expensive but thought ok, whatever. When my food came I gave the delivery guy my money. Something told me to check my food. I went and checked and saw mold ALL over the bread. I chuckled and thought "you have got to be kidding me.They couldn't have possibly thought they could pass this off". Clearly the person who prepared my sandwich didn't care about the moldy bread. It wasn't like it was hidden or there was one spot of mold. I immediately called Cozy's to advise them of the problem with my sandwich. I told the lady I just wanted my money back. The lady was in disbelief and apologized. After hanging up with her I received a call back from Cozy's. It was another lady calling me back to explain that they had their bread baked daily and that it's possibly couldn't be mold. Instead she insisted the spots were sprinkles and they should have been cut out. Sprinkles? Really? I advised her that I along with SEVERAL coworkers examined the sandwich and all agreed that the spots were in fact mold. I told her I found it a coincidence that the only sprinkles they had were green. I then told her that all I wanted was for the driver to come back with my money. She told me she would see what she could do. About a half hour passed and still no one from Cozy so I called back. When I did, the guy on the phone seemed agitated and told me that he was aware of the situation and the driver was told and he would be back when he got a chance. At this point my coworkers and I placed a lunch order with another restaurant. Finally someone from Cozy came and was only giving me the amount of the sandwich. Love the food here but the only problem is; every single time you order here, they ALWAYS mess up your order a little bit. They usually make it with no problem and the owner is amazing and truly cares for his customers. I always get egg salad and veggie wraps! The prices are good for the quantity of the food they serve. Customer service for the entire staff is terrific. Another downfall, the parking sucks, just a couple spots and hard to get in and out of the lot. read more

When my Dad turned 90, my sister and I planned a big birthday brunch to be held in the basement of our church, inviting friends, family and community members. I contracted Cozy Corner to cater it and was extremely satisfied with their services. I communicated with Pete Celia over a 2-week period leading up to the event and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He guided me in selecting a breakfast menu of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, juice, coffee and tea with some cut lunch sandwiches, chips and soda drinks thrown in. He also got us a beautiful cake from a bakery. All the food arrived on time, was set up nicely, and was very delicious. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable. Pete was very helpful with adjusting my order to suit our needs. The deliver person was on time and professional. Everything was fresh and delicious! This was my first time using Cozy Corner Deli but it won't be our last. Thank you for making our event successful. I've Been going here for several years so shame on me for only reviewing this now. I absolutely love this place. It has diner quality and atmosphere with a diverse menu delivered in a fraction of the time. The daily specials offer fresh new items not featured on the menu, each more diverse than the last, at prices that honestly make you feel like there's a negative catch. The staff is friendly but not afraid to put you in your place when you're out of line, and I love that. Don't come here thinking you're going to get away with being an uptight customer, besides, they give you no reason to be. Pete (the owner) employs tough hard working locals who will always smile at you and acknowledge you once you step foot in there. Which brings me to Phil (the X factor) what doesn't this guy do? Serves, cleans, preps, handles phone orders, etc. He remembers my usual, which has changed over 20 times, knows my tendencies, and always cares to ask about my life while still firing on all cylinders. This guys a machine, he does this with every customer, and will bust out a corny joke and be absolutely unapologetic about it which is part of his charm. The delivery driver is a kind respect man as well. The best part about this place is that it truly is COZY oh and it's on a corner.
