Think Dylan's "Tangled Up and Blue", the Rolling Stones' "Jumping Jack Flash" and Elton John's "I'm Still Standing". The music reflects the older profile of the typical patron, so I suppose it's hospitality for them. It set my teeth on edge, hearing music for the 4,000th time. The salad bar was fresh and abundant; the entree portions are enormous, and the baked potato was so well cooked it was silky inside. The choices for desert? Chocolate lava cake, a brownie, or a chocolate layer cake. Who designed this menu? There's a full bar, lots of drafts on tap, and a pool table. In good weather, there's a patio out back.

We couldn't find a spot to park, so we decided to turn around and try a close by restaurant and it was an hour and a half wait. We said let's try sporingville. We looked at yelp and this was the first place that came up and it looked really good. Service was a little slow all around but not bad. Hence the 4 stars but everything else was amazing. Home made soup beef on weck with rye bread croutons. Soft but crunchy. Menu had lots to choose from. I had the grilled chicken fingers. I think it was 2 chicken breast sliced grilled and tossed in sauce. Side of blue cheese. It was awesome. Blooming onion pieces with spicy saice was also yummy. My hubby had the pulled pork mac ND cheese which was so creamy and good. ThIs place knows it's good. They also have specials during the week and a unique bar. We will be back to eat when we rake a long ride.

The Scarlet Vetter says.....First off, I really love this restaurant. The service, ambiance, and…read morethe food are top notch. Simply great. The owner is present almost all the time tending to things and checking in on tables. I have never ever had a bad meal here. Like not ever. Not even a mediocre meal. Always rates very good to great. From the steaks. To the seafood, to the Italian specialties.....just tops. It is hard to get into during the ski season, and not too easy even off season, so please do plan and make a reservation. If you can snag a booth, that is the best. The bar is a great place to come for a drink with a friend or to watch a sporting event. My most recent visit to the restaurant was this past Friday, a nice night in early May. We met some friends here for dinner. We had two appetizers of stuffed peppers which are absolutely amazing with just the right amount of heat, and the Nona's Meatball with gooey rich ricotta cheese.....yum yum. My husband ordered a house salad, which was crisp and delicious. For entrees, our companion couple ordered the twin filets and the fish fry. Both were reported to be fantastic. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Chicken Milanese. Absolutely excellent. For dessert, both couples shared their own order of Tiramisu. I ordered an Espresso and that simply rounded out an amazing dinner. I really can't recommend this place enough.

Service was great and super friendly and we were seated immediately around dinner time. Since it was the "battle" it was loud inside but we didn't mind. Villagio's lies on the sidestreet in what looks like an old barn. It has a unique rustic charm that we enjoyed. It's an italian based restaurant that offers bread with olive oil and seasonings to start. We didn't realize that and also got cheesy bread which comes with a red sausce. Both were delicious. For entrees I ordered bucatini carbonara with chicken and my wife ordered the filleto's. Pricing was reasonable in the $20-$30 range per peson. We enjoyed the visit and had a great time!
