CellSavers are life savers!! As I'm sure most of us are... I am pretty tied to my phone!! So when it died last night and would not come back on I felt completely lost! I have older grown up kids that live away, work tends to email, text, and call at just about any time, and basically without a phone my wife and I were not able to do what we needed to because one of us would then be without a way to communicate! So I looked up a place to take it to... but it was late and everything was closed... until I found CellSavers! They made the appointment to come to my home and repair my phone! Extremely convenient and easy. Raul showed up on time and my phone was fixed and ready to go in less then 30 mins! CellSavers or life savers? I say the later.... The price was more then reasonable considering they came to me! Seriously talking to other standing locations just to diagnose the issue was 100$ and that didn't include repairs! On top of that I would have to go to them! CellSavers came to me! At my convenience! Was done in 30 mins and cost me 70$ all in!! Have a cell phone issue... call CellSavers! Don't hire PULS Appliance repair.. I looked for a reputable repair company to replace my ice maker. They had five stars ( I later found out that they pay for good ratings) I gave them the name of the refrigerator and what was broken. They told me it would be $89 service call which I thought was reasonable. The technician came out and unscrewed TWO screws and handed me the broken part. He told me I could order the part (he didn't have the part) and I could save the extra 30% up charge they charge. He then told me it would be $148 for today's charges.. I told him I felt like that was high since he was there less than 10 minutes. I paid. I ordered the part and waited a week for the part to come in. The technician came back a week later to put the part in. Instead of the $89 service call he was going to charge me an extra $148. It was TWO screws. I could have done it, but I'm a 76 year old woman and not as agile as I use to be,, It might have taken me 10 minutes instead of the 5 minutes it took him. I told him that was outrageous to charge another $148 for 5 minutes worth of work. Here's the KICKER---He called his company and the person on the other end said he would give me a discount. I said GREAT!! He kept coming back to the original $148 and I ask him where the discount was. He sounded like an Indian or Iranian (not prejudice). He told me to get a piece of paper and write down what he was saying so I would UNDERSTAND what he was saying. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I told him I understood completely what he was saying. The nice technician technician finally convinced that person to give me a $50 discount. I paid..I will NEVER use this company again, and the way he treated me is probably the way he treats all women.. Just saying!!! read more

Its unfortunate, its seems like they are great if they actually make to the appointment. Sadly, they did not and I had the same experience as others had. I had an appointment for 4-5pm today and waited till 5:15 before calling, just to find out they had cancelled the appointment. The support rep said that they called and left a voicemail for me. The positive is that every technician I've worked with has been terrific - all kind and on time. However, the customer experience with Puls directly has been a nightmare. Their membership is a complete scam. At my last installation, I signed up for Puls+ through the recommendation of the technician and was told that the membership was month to month and could be canceled at any time. After a few months, I reached out to customer service to request a cancellation and without any warning was charged almost $100 to cancel. Afterward, when I tried reaching out to customer service to discuss it was radio silence and I've been unable to receive an email response. read more

Moved to a new apartment and wanted my bedroom and living room tv's mounted. Initially I only wanted to do my bedroom, after that install I called them back to do my living room. Both technicians were excellent, they were quick, efficient, and answered all my questions. Pricing is a bit much but luckily my outlet in the living room was raised so I only had to pay the up-charge for cord concealment in my bedroom. Overall completely satisfied! They told me Friday and gave me 4time slots ( different techs) ALL DAY I received emails " were busier than we thought we will arrive at" only 1 location was done. Since he had to text me an invoice, I got to speak to a live person, he told me he will do 1 more today and he will do the other 2 tomorrow. Jerome never showed up to other locations. No one showed up today, I have been hung up on twice, they only thing customer service seems to be good at is saying " im sorry" , or " im sorry we are running late" RUN.. do not use this company they are full of excuses.. and getting ANYONE to show up and do their job is slim to none read more

When they charge you, they will sign you up WITHOUT TELLING YOU for their 'subscription service' 3. You are never told about this, or, more importantly, asked for your consent 4. You will only know this is happening when you see the monthly charges on your credit card. 5. There is no one to talk to on their 'customer service' end, they will endlessly dodge you. We contacted our Credit card number and had them freeze out the account, and PULS, unbelievably, tried AGAIN to charge us a month later, forcing us to again dispute the charges. They even had the nerve to send us an email stating how they had 'cancelled our subscription'....they didn't. I bought an LCD screen and battery for my iphone thru Puls because my battery became bloated on 10/28/18 making my screen pop up and no longer work. My new LCD screen lasted 3.5months before stopped working again. I have no cracks/drops anything to make this stop working again, just inferior cheap parts. I signed online up for an appt because I held for 10 min on my phone. My time was 7pm-8pm...waited and waited, then at around 8:35pm I received a call from a lady saying they would not be able to make it tonight...Told the lady i wanted earliest next day service. So at 8:10am, my tech arrives, the same tech who fixed me before, but said he would charge me $79. I told him this was a warranty issue. "Ohh...you need to go thru our guarantee department, fill out a form and then wait 24 hours." They just offered a $20 discount on services. No thank you. I will go some where else and go to a place that guarantees parts longer than 3.5 months. Convenience was nice to have them come to my home, but no for cheap parts that don't last. read more

This is a horrible company. I got the run-around for MANY months. They originally came in May 2019 and charged me $88.00 for diagnostic. They sad that they would pay me back that amount once the parts came in. They NEVER called me back. When I called beck several weeks later, they said they would send out another technician and the same thing happened. It was clear he knew what he was doing when it came to dishwashers and when it ended up being an expensive repair he was honest with me that a replacement would likely save me money. I searched for appliance repair near me and this company came up. I called them to make an appointment. They seemed professional and ready to help. After I made my appointment for Saturday February 12, 2022 @ 10 AM (which was the time that I was given for the soonest time they could see me) at 9:30 AM Saturday Morning they sent me a text/email saying to reschedule, I was disappointed but I made the appointment for Sunday February 13 2022 @ 8-9 AM. And at 8:30 AM they text me again to reschedule. My recommendation for anyone that Is looking to have work done by this company in the Austin, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos Texas Area's.... DO NOT DO IT... Bad service! Made and appt through the site and they rescheduled my appointment for next morning with a $10 discount. They called next morning and had to push to an hour later, offered another $5 discount. Then called and had to move another hour. Technician showed up and didn't have the correct color screen to use so had to request another technician which they scheduled for 4-5PM. Then get another call that they have to move to 9-10PM. Offered another $10 discount. I get a new email with updated pricing and it's only $10 off original cost so now I'm fuming and have to call customer service to complain and get my full discount of $25. I was very happy with my initial experience with cellsavers, it was super easy and quick and I got my screen replace in under 2 hours and the phone was working fine before and after, until something went wrong... and my phone wouldn't turn on or hold a charge. Important disclaimer, This update is solely about cellsavers customers service, because as any of this type of business that connects the customer with the technician, it depends on who you get and if I could leave a review on my technician only, it will be great one!!! (if you're in the LA area, you need to request Marcus, he saved my phone!! but i don't know if they allow that) Going through cellsaver's customer service was a joke, super disrespectful and just terrible. I call a couple times and always got the same response when trying to talk to manager (he is unavailable) or if i asked too many questions or try to get answers on how their warranty policy worked, i got answers like "well maybe we will do this or that" or a just plain "if you are not more helpful with us, we won't be sending you the warranty form"... So be carefull... and don't trust that if something goes wrong they will be as helpful as they were when you hire them. Also some feedback for cellsavers, train you customer service, obviously they are not prepared to answer questions or at least have a manager available to do so. read more

After 3 visits to our home for a screen repair (Over 2 weeks), I was told to go to the Apple store to get the phone fixed. We'd be reimbursed in full. More than 1 week later, sending 3 emails to customer Service (which we were told to do) sending multiple emails to in the Messenger, we are now out over $300 for a screen repair on an APPLE 7 phone. Outstanding service. My wife dropped her iPhone 6plus and the screen shattered so badly, that little shards were coming off. I did due diligence, and saw that CellSavers have a stellar reputation, and that they come to you! Why would I fight traffic, parking and lines, when someone will come to our house and fix our phone with the same parts, and all for significantly less than the Apple Store charges? Short answer? I wouldn't. I called CellSavers, and they sent Raul to our house, where my wife and I were able to wash the dishes, prepare dinner, and have a cold beer while he worked. I made an appointment for a tv mounting between 6-7pm. I received an email confirming and saying if there was a change, they would contact me. Come 7:15pm, no contact yet. I reached out to their service and they said the times were estimates and they had to reach out to their dispatcher which reaches out to the technician. They were fully booked for the 6-7 time slot (why wasn't I contacted?!) and the soonest available was the next day. I'm honestly curious when they would have shown up if I hadn't called. When I pushed a little, they said that there was a spot available for 8-9pm tonight. I agreed to take that as I needed it done tonight. I stressed that I needed an actual call/text if the appointment changed this time as I had stuff to do and didn't want to be sitting around for another couple of hours. I hung up the phone and almost immediately was contacted saying that the 8-9 slot was full and tomorrow is as soon as they can get me in. It's obvious that the customer service tech I talked to first was just trying to rush me off the phone. When I go to their website right now, it'll still let me sign up for 8-9 spot tonight despite it being full. Recap: booked for "full" time slot, uncommunicative about the problem, rebooked for another "full" time slot. If my attempt to even get them to show up at the correct time is any indication of their service level, do not book with them. You'll regret it. read more

The quality of the screen reminds me of the first iPhone from 2007. Really really bad screen to have on a newish iPhone 7. How many strikes do you give a service company? This is strike one for them but I don't have a lot of confidence to even try again. I booked an outdoor TV mount install over a week ago, rearranged my schedule so I could be home for the technician, this included time off from work to be home, and three hours before the install they cancel it and tried to get me to reschedule on a Sunday. I have a feeling this is kind of how it is going to be with this company and the business model doesn't seem very solid based on some of the other reviews I am reading, at least in Austin Texas. Griffin in KC was great! After a bit of conversation, I learned so much more about this service, the techs and the company. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a broken iphone screen. Cracked my iPhone 7 screen and Griffin, my technician had it fixed within 20 minutes or so in the lobby of my office. He was very friendly and made this process very convenient for me. At first, I did notice that my screen had more of a blue, tad duller tint (similar to another reviewer further below) so I went to settings - general - accessibility - display accommodations - Color tint - adjusted intensity. After the recent revelations about the way iOS handles reduced performance from old batteries, I felt more confident that I just needed a battery replacement to return new life to my 3-year-old iPhone 6 that couldn't hold a charge through a full day. The service that replaced my screen a couple of years ago didn't seem to still be around, so Yelp led me to Puls for my iPhone repair needs. Scheduling an appointment was super easy with their web site. I got an affordable quote in seconds, and I scheduled my repair for the following hour. Much better than I could expect from Apple themselves--plus, the technician would come to my office. Sure enough, Raul showed up on time and got right to work. Ran some tests to confirm that everything worked before he started. He deftly dismantled my iPhone, with friendly chat as he swapped some of its innards. Then, he reassembled it, cleaned it, and confirmed that everything still worked when he was done. He even replaced a missing screw and cleaned out my charge port, fixing the cord seating problem that I had long since accepted as just something my old phone has to deal with now. It hasn't been long since he finished his work, so I can't speak to the long-term success of the operation, but I am pleased with everything about the repair experience so far, and I am confident that Puls will stand behind their warranty should I run into any issues with the new battery at all. read more

DO NOT USE! I used this service for the convenience. I just got the new iPhone and I wanted to repair a crack in my iPhone 7 screen before returning it. The technician was super nice and friendly but ended up breaking my home button. Apparently, they do not fix home buttons and now I'm left with an iPhone in even worse condition than it was before. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this poorly run business. Update: Shortly after posting this and expressing my frustration with their customer service, a manager called and advised they would reimburse me for the service Apple would charge for fixing the home button and screen. They did process the refund and I received the amount Apple charged me. However, I am still shocked they did not reimburse me for the first screen I purchased through them that broke my phone in the first place. So I still paid about 70 bucks to go through this. I have no idea if the techs are competent because their customer service is so horrible. They cancelled on me twice. First they didn't have a part and then couldn't get a tech to come the next day. I cancelled after they had no openings for two more days. Dropped it off at batteries plus and got it finished that day a lot cheaper. From what I gather they are the uber of screen repairs. They ping available independent techs and hope someone will respond. They should fire all their customer service reps. They are based out of California and none of them speak clear English. I thought it was an Indian call center till other reps spoke with hard to understand Asian accents. Even worse they seem incapable of listening. Had to explain several times I wanted a pm meeting, not one in the morning. After wasting two days trying to work with them I gave up. This is not more convenient. read more

I had such a great experience with CellSavers today! I dropped my phone and shattered my iPhone 6 screen this morning and I instantly envisioned my entire day spent waiting at the Apple Store. Fortunately, google led me to CellSavers instead. I set an appointment for a time slot that worked for me and Raúl was at my apartment door on time and ready to go. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. Raul fixed my screen within 30 minutes and even applied my screen protector for me. I would give a 5 star review for the Austin Cellsavers and Brian who provided the service. Kept his apportionment, was on time, did a great job. Follow-up was great. I will say that while I was in San Antonio, where my phone actually cracked, the technician did not show up twice. I was not about to use the service had it not been for Cellsavers customer service, which was pretty persistent and offered discount to give them another chance. I am glad I did. When I finally found a phone number to contact them, I got a clueless person in a call center who informed me that nobody was available for my chosen time slots. This is awesome! I knocked my phone off my table at about 2:45, scheduled an appointment just after 3, Raul showed up promptly at 3:50 (exactly on time) and had my phone fixed by 4:15. Definitely turns a devastating accident into a minor nuisance. The price is perfect also!
