I was a huge fan of Pizza Barbarosa. Back then, the pizzas, cheese bread, and everything else was simply amazing. The owner ended up combining his two stores and reopening as Crepizza. Still the same great taste. I got the meat lovers, and it was absolutely outstanding. They have some of the best pizzas in town!

I came here for a crepe, I got a crepe. It was exactly what I expected and at a price point that was adequate. The ambiance and decor is quaint and simple and the workers were efficient. Not much more to say than if you're looking for a sweet treat in the form of a crepe, I would visit.

Front desk at the hotel i was staying at recommended this place. (The day front desk workers showed up later). I was planning on getting the calzone but the waitress said the pizza was way better and the carbonara was the best. So i ordered that. She was right for a thin crust pizza this was good. The creamy Alfredo sauce was nice. Not usually an Alfredo sauce on my pizza kind of person but this was a nice change. It wasn't bland like most Alfredo success. The toppings were piled on and the cheese just stretched for days. The crust had a nice crunch too it on the edges but under all the toppings it was nice and firm. Didn't give to much but wasn't as stiff as cardboard. Nice little place to stop in and enjoy a pizza. I saw the calzones and they didn't look bad (huge in size really) but I'm glad i followed the suggestion of the waitress.

Today we tried Crepizza for the first time, and it was delicious!! It's two former businesses combined if you don't know. We tried the salmon and cream cheese crepe, the gyro and Greek salad had to try some hummus and pita and of course some baklava! Everything was delicious and our server was on her second day and was killing it! They ended up filling up before we left, give this place a try!!

Chocolate and Nutella

Went to Crepizza twice this week for crepes. Sadly, both times were a letdown. I've had crepes from lots of places all over the country and these were by far the worse. Whatever "Nutella" they are using is not good quality at all. The first time I got a banana crepe with Nutella and chocolate, didn't taste the Nutella practically at all. The second time I omitted the chocolate and only did the banana and Nutella, but still hardly any Nutella, and what was there had very little flavor. Very underwhelming; especially for nearly $10 ($9.58) as that's the most I've ever paid for a dessert crepe. Now I understand prices are going up, and I understand there are supply issues. I am happy to pay the higher prices; but if the quality is going to be that low, as a business owner, I would either take the item off the menu, or find an alternative source. I'd much rather pay a dollar or two more for something that tastes good than send out sub par food. Not to mention they serve awesome gelato at their sister location Sokalata, but here it's just plain jane regular ol commercial vanilla ice cream. Now speaking of Sokalata. We also had desserts from there this week, and they were all amazing. The eclair was rich, the chocolate lava cake well balanced and moist but not too wet, and then there was a strawberry custard puff pastry cake slice that was creamy and delicate. Highly recommend their desserts and gelato. I would also like to say it's been a while since we've had Crepizza main entrees, but have always been very happy in the past (except the breadsticks; much prefer the old smaller bread slices, those breadsticks are junk). I just don't suggest the dessert crepes with Nutella.

Greek Salad w/ Grilled Chicken

Crepizza is a 3-4 times a month stop for our family, typically after Church for lunch. We usually get salads and Gyro/Pitas, but tonight we came for dinner and added some pasta and had a great meal! We love the great food and friendly staff. I would argue that the Cajun Chicken Pasta is the best $12.95 spent for a proper meal in Charleston!! You also get fresh bread, either Garlic Bread or Breadsticks. The pizzas are also fantastic, from a 6 Cheese to the Greek Village!! The Baklava is also fantastic!! It's great to support a local Charleston owned business that has been in business for over 15 years. Crepizza is a locals favorite and many drive right past not knowing what that are missing. It's right beside Qdoba and Five Guys Burgers. Give it a try and I think you will enjoy it.

The building (though Vintage) was Open, Bright and Airy! A major plus to this Seasonal Depression Sufferer! We went to the bar to place our order! We opted for the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots for $10 & the Fully Loaded Detroit Style Pizza for $15I had a bottle of water and though he was very disappointed that it was ONLY their WV Craft Beer served, he went with what the bartender recommended (closest to a PBR & Budweiser that they offered ) for $5.50, total with taxes & Tip was $42. We were surprised that the food was out in like 15 minutes. We fully expected to wait since Detroit Deep Dish normally takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes to cook fully. This led us to believe it was PAR BAKED for faster Customer Service which to many is NOT A PLUS! The Garlic Knots were very doughy and extremely dense in texture. Not a fan! The service was fast and friendly but for the atmosphere, price and the fact they are trying to be trendy, the paper plates & plastic cutlery was a BIG NEGATIVE!! I know myself even if Melanac Hard Plastic for plates is okay, but I want true Silverware!! The sauce has a really Great flavor and the cheese pull was very nice on the pizza. The sauce served on top, a big big plus!! I live in Ripley, WV and drove 35 minutes one way to enjoy this meal, but the question is...would I do it again?? Probably NOT! I give them a 5 out of 5 on atmosphere and ambience they nailed that! I give them a 4 out 5 on Customer Service because the food came too fast!! I give them a 3 out 5 for the food, the sauce was perfect but everything else about taste and flavor was a hit and miss. The score might have been higher if I had left off the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots!! The beer though I tasted it wasnt bad but Im not a beer drinker, my hubby was very disappointed so thats 2 out of 5 stars and the tableware scores a zero!! I wasn't on a picnic and the paper and plastic screams picnic or lazy kitchen staff to me!! So, would I recommend? I must say overall, 3 stars out of 5 stars! I recommend you go and decide for yourself!

We ordered a $15 rectangle Detroit pizza, which was absolutely superb. However, they serve such a flimsy, plastic knife and fork. You can barely cut through the pizza much less eat it! I am emphasizing "strongly" that the business invest in better plasticware. My friend had a Diet Coke that was served in a can with a straw and it wasn't very cold. They don't provide ice, which is also a bit of a problem for people who like cold soft drinks. Also ice is pretty much necessary in water and some people like to also put it in their white wines. Other than that, what a great little restaurant downtown, Charleston is lucky to have them

I quickly said, "medium rare". I like my fair share of redness in my beef. After a considerable wait, it arrived along with the fries. One bite in the burger and it was VERY obvious, it wasn't medium rare. In fact, I don't believe it could have more well done without being charred. It was sooo dry and the flavor was nonexistent. The fries were pretty good. When the server came to ask about everything, I told her that it was far from medium rare. She then said, "oh, I forgot about that". All in all it was probably the worst investment I've ever gotten with $16.
